Tips for Making Outlets & Glass Switch Plates Look Better!

Ever feel like something is missing about the walls, though the paint and decoration are spot-on? The culprit can well be the obsolete outlets and switch plates that are outdated and out of fashion. A miniature piece put up here and there, the allure of these features isn't immediately noticeable when doing your overhaul, while they mean a lot to the atmosphere of the space. Dated or mismatched switch plates and outlets can spoil a modern room. If glamour mixed with cleanliness in design is the aim, attention must be given to detail. Here's how to make reset outlets and best glass switch plateslook good with a little application.
Match Switch Plates with Wall Color
An easy way to spice outlets and switch plates up is to blend their color with the color of the wall. The outcome is a more seamless-looking and much smoother wall. This trick is particularly advisable in the living room and bedroom. Paint the plastic pieces or buy colored covers that are somewhat close to your wall shade. If there is wallpaper, match or make the switch plates blend into the motif. This way, the room remains crisp and coherent-looking.
Legitimate Glass Switch Plates for a Modern Twist
Glass switch plates are trendy accessories in homes. They add sophistication and elegance to any room. They have a clear, shiny counter that gives your interiors an expensive touch. Used extensively today in modern-styled homes and minimalistic spaces alike. Glass does not yellow like plastic over time, so it always looks fresh and clean. Also, it can be kept looking neat and poised by means of regular cleaning. And indeed—sleek and stylish modular glass switch plates would make a fantastic upgrade to any standard-looking interiors.
Go for Modular Plate System Design for a Super Unique Look
In a modular plate system, one can get crafted parts to meet diverse criteria. You have full control over size, shape, and any layout headers at your disposal. This makes the wall look as uniform as possible with fewer types of switch plates visible. Modular switch plates are available in different stylish finishes such as matte, glossy, wooden, or metallic. They fit perfectly into the wall space and make up your custom home decor. Be it for a bedroom or kitchen, both come in useful for functions and aesthetics.
Use Furniture and Decoration to Hide Your Outlets
In most cases, in the awkward spots, there's no need to remove the outlets or switches on any pretext. Just hide them! Place any kind of tall plant, piece of furniture, or a large photo frame before the offending outlets so that they can be ignored. In the more open spaces such as hallways, living area, this trick is just great and effective. It resolves the situation quickly as the extension cord or wire is less likely to be concealed—no messing about at all on changing out the outlets. This is like treating your eyes to a pure, clean, crisp show of indifference.
Conclusion
It is the small details that together form a room, and switch plates are certainly one of them. Glass switch plates or a stylish modular switch plate can bring a colorless wall to life. Whether you hide the narrow outlets or exchange covers for new ones, the change that it brings has a profound effect. Such improvements to the walls with a few tricks, transforming a basic look to absolutely beautiful. So, notice by them your walls by now; make them share one more story of the style of your home.

The easiest best two to three days of food for one person I know of. A flexible modular recipe. This is going to sound high work at times due to how broadly I am writing this, it is not as bad as the vagueness and intentional broadness makes it sound signed a person who has frequently accidentally had sleep for dinner after being unable to make it too damn much.
Rice cooker needed.
Ingredients:
Rice (any), lentils or beans optional (one or two cans), frozen vegetable mix (any and in as much quantity as you want, I like potato, carrot, peas, and corn you like what you like)
Sauces (teriyaki sauce and kewpie mayonnaise is what I swear by because of how easy they are to manage and pour and how well they compliment the food and each other but use whatever you own and can stomach or nothing at all, extra points for one having some fat), seasonings (curry powder and salt is my standard, really the salt is enough) Oil
Additional protein (tuna, cheese, ham, chicken tendies, shredded chicken, tofu, more beans, egg, mushroom, setian, nutritional yeast, you do you, two seperate sources for the different days useful)
In to the rice cooker, put two cups rice with water in proportion, one or two cans lentils or beans if using (strain and quickly rinse them if you can, if not just pour out as much of the liquid as possible and dump), and a lot of frozen vegetable mix in whatever variety you have on hand/like. It's going to look like a lot. That's because it is. This is good. Add more vegetables. Two cups of rice makes more than you think so it's very hard to add too many vegetables to this if you're at least neutral on vegetables. Let the rice cooker cook. It's going to take a while so do whatever.
This is now a mostly complete meal if you add fat and salt, so the teriyaki and kewpie in my version. The additional protein will make it more filling and better in general, so adding a low effort one
Turn off the keep warm on the rice cooker and dump out the leftovers on a plate or something. Or not and just put the whole pot away. Leave in fridge overnight.
If you're ambitious/need variety reheat by frying with a different seasoning and secondary protein source #2 for best results. It's all already cooked so you just need to add the extras and to have it be warm. If you want to then use the fried rice in multiple meals, it reheats in the microwave better than the unfried. If you're not, reheat in the microwave with extras and enjoy that yesterday you making food for today you really helped out today you.
This provides two days of main meal food that are both very presentable and flavoursome, and are sufficiently different to each other it takes a long time to get sick of/makes it easier to feel like you're "doing well". I have had friends compliment me on how nice I am eating despite being in states that would usually leave me struggling to make myself food that mildly disgusts or concerns them. It dirties the rice cooker bowl and paddle, one eating bowl and utensils, one plate (optional), and a frying pan (optional). Most of those I just rinse out or soak not wash properly tbh, it's not like it has cheese to scrub off if you don't use it. This whole process takes about five minutes of active prep and clean up both days. The worst pitfalls I have found with it are getting too ambitious on the secondary protein for day 1 and eventually just having nothing, which I fixed for me by switching to canned tuna or shredded chicken, forgetting or otherwise failing to empty or turn off the heating of the rice cooker, and getting overwhelmed having to use the stove at all day 2 and avoiding the nice but optional upgrade.
I hope this is helpful for someone out there, I know how often most of these from around the place sound "oh my god you think that's simple??" But, and I say this as one of you, the backbone of this is having the machine that boils carbs boil a bunch of carbs for you and cramming as much of a "complete" or "fancy" meal's prep in to that process as possible then finishing with stuff you just pour, drop, or slice in.
Sounds helpful

Surfboards
Hi! In Undercurrent, you will the choice to choose your own personal surfboard with their own personal skills and default appearance. There are three to choose from as early as in Chapter One. As the story continues, you'll get to customize your surfboard, possibly switch it out with another, and further enhance your own if you choose to keep it.
Surfboards:
Driftboard: They're sleek and responsive, hovering over water and terrain using grav-tech and syncs to your neural signals. This board is ideal for fluid movement, fast turns, and riders who are intuned with who they are.
Vortexrider: Engineered for control freaks, adjusting to any surface with hydrofoils and neural syncing. Great for technical runs and riders who play smart. Calculated, smooth, and deadly accurate.
Shredder: Fast, loud, and a little unstable. The Shredder is built for wild rides, hard turns, and hacked systems. The Shredder is perfect for risk takers and adrenaline junkies.
Appearance:
The Driftboard: Long and smooth with a liquid-metal sheen trimmed in soft, color-shifting neon that pulses subtly with mood. Clean lines, slightly curved tip, and an embedded interface near the tail.
The Vortexrider: Flat, sharp edges with a low-profile deck. It has deployable foils underneath and subtle glowing lines along the sides. Matte-black with a utilitarian finish, looking more military than anything else.
The Shredder: Chunky and aggressive, with modular parts that jut out like armor plating. Neon tubing snakes across the surface in electric pink, blue, and green, and some panels look jury-rigged. It's a Frankenstein type of board.

Standard equipment of the 778th Legion
The 778th Legion of the Heavenly Host is an auxiliary unit of the Heavenly Legions, entirely comprised of mortal souls. Saved who are unsatisfied with simply enjoying Heavens existence, taking up arms to fight with the rest of the Legions upon Creation.
As they are not Trueborn Angels, they lack the unmatched strength, speed, reflexes, and inborn martial prowess of their peers. Therefore they are equipped with the most technologically advanced equipment that Heavens forges can produce, to bring their physical performance up to par with their faithful fire.
Armor: The armor of the 778th is a semi-modular suit of interlocking angelic steel and blessed ceramic armor plating over an exoskeleton powered by the sun-fire of holy light.
The base suit is referred to as a ‘Harbinger’ Model Powered Combat Suit, and can be modified to serve a variety of battlefield purposes, examples given being overclocked power plants in the arms and reinforced gorget and vambraces for heavy melee combat, and extensive helmet sensor suites and targeting modules for snipers. The armor greatly augments the wearers strength, overland speed, and reflexes, allowing the Legionnaire to do battle against foes that would normally far outstrip a mortal soul, such as more powerful sinner-entities. Earlier models weight complicated flight, but downsizing of the power source and distribution system have made this a non-issue.
Standard Ammunition: The Legions firearms utilize a standardized round in many different calibers: Sanctified Mass-Reactive Banishment (SMRB) ammunition. Each projectile is lovingly and masterfully crafted, an angelic steel jacket surrounding a blessed silver core and a small explosive charge meant to activate upon striking a target. There are standard variations, including armor-piercing rounds utilizing a hardened angelic steel penetrator, hollow points for use against soft targets, etc.
Sidearm: The Model 277 ‘Judith’ is a semi-automatic pistol chambered to accept 12.7×41mm SMRB ammunition, standard issue to all members of the 778th Legion.
The ‘Judith’ is unique amongst handguns in that it utilizes a side-loading magazine, deemed necessary to maintain an acceptable ammunition capacity in the face of the necessarily large caliber it is chambered in, ten total, plus one in the chamber. The weapon comes in both left and right-hand dominant configurations, depending on the users preference.
This weapon has seen comparatively few updates since its conception, most of them revolving around ergonomics and minute adjustments to the Legions deployment zones, an instant and long-lasting hit with the 778th, so much so that Trueborn members of other Legions and certain members of the Guardian Conclaves have begun to carry them as well.
Standard rifle: The Model 3577 ‘Mercy’ Battle Rifle is a select-fire shoulder arm chambered for 7.62×63mm SMRB ammunition. It can cycle between semi-automatic fire, burst-fire, and fully automatic fire via a selector switch mounted on the trigger guard, with a cyclic fire rate of 650 RPM.
It is a highly modular rifle, capable of a great deal of personalization as well as customization for various battlefield roles, easily converted from a short-barreled carbine for Close Quarters Battle to a full-length Designated Marksman Rifle, depending on a Legionnaires deployment zone and particular battlefield role.
Long-distance engagement: The Model 137 ‘Jericho’ Anti-Materiel rifle is a long-barreled semi-automatic shoulder arm chambered in 20mm SMRB fed from a 3-round magazine, designed to engage particularly large or heavily armored targets from extreme distances.
A sharpshooters weapon, it is large, bulky, and unwieldy in close quarters, with an overall length of almost 8 feet and weighing almost 75 pounds, making it solely suited to engaging targets from a distance or from pre-established firing positions.
That being said, enterprising Legionnaires have described the weapons effects on targets in closer quarters to be ‘magnificent.’
Close Quarters Engagement: The Model 93 ‘Simon’ is a pump-action shotgun chambered to accept 8 gauge shells, with a capacity of 5 rounds in an internal tube magazine, plus one in the chamber. These rounds can be interchanged for a wide variety of purposes for example: Angelic Steel Buckshot and slugs, silver-tipped flechettes, blessed magnesium incendiary rounds, and cryogenically stable holy-water pellets. Less-than-lethal options exist, such as beanbag rounds and flash-bang shells.
The weapon is the workhorse of many anti-cultist operations, proving effectiveness in the often cramped space and limited maneuverability of the compounds such groups tend to prefer to nest in. It has also proven its knockdown power against various demonic entities, proven capable on multiple occasions of putting more powerful sinner-entities on their back with a solid shot center-mass.
Squad level fire support: The Model 115 ‘Retribution’ Squad Automatic Weapon system is a fully-automatic shoulder arm chambered in 7.62×63mm SMRB fed by disintegrating-link ammunition belts from a 200 round box magazine, with a cyclic fire rate of 850 RPM, fitted with a quick-change barrel system.
It is a superlative weapon for suppressing fire on covered targets, as well as engagement of groups of enemies. There is generally one issued to each Contubernia, a suitable solution for the Legions need for more robust mobile fire support.
Heavy Machine Gun: The Model 19 ‘Diligence’ Machine Gun is an air-cooled heavy support weapons platform chambered in 12.7x108mm SMRB ammunition, with a cyclic fire rate of up to 600 RPM, fed by disintegrating-link ammunition belts fed from a 110 round ammunition can.
The Model 19 has been a reliable workhorse against lightly-armored vehicles and large abominations for many years, imparting significant kinetic transfer and wound-channeling to its targets, often tearing human and human-adjacent targets limb from limb. While normally mounted in emplacements (such as those guarding the Heaven Embassy in Hells Pride Ring) or braces, a Legionnaires standard Harbinger combat suit allows a Model 19 to be carried and fired from the hip, albeit with significant drop in accuracy. Some Legionnaires have fitted their armor with advanced and specialized targeting systems to allow them to effectively utilize the weapon in this manner.
Anti-Armor: The Model 6 ‘Perdition’ personal missile system is a shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon firing a 127mm missile which can be fitted for anti-personnel airburst, anti-armor, or anti-air configurations. It features an automatic infrared ‘fire and forget’ tracking system, enabling the user to immediately seek cover after firing, unlike wire-guided systems, which leave the user exposed to enemy counter-fire whilst guiding the projectile.
Its anti-personnel munitions are tuned for airburst detonation, detonating above enemy positions, riddling the target area with angelic-steel shrapnel, blessed magnesium incendiary munitions, or silver-tipped flechettes. Its anti-armor munitions feature a dual-warhead system intended to defeat the reactive armor systems of tanks, but the technology has been found useful in breaching the carapaces of more heavily armored abominations as well.

Cold Blood, Star's Heart
Officially speaking, RAKU-0793-1-MIL-CMDO “Anti” was a combat unit. Her cerebral simulation unit was mounted within a Neohuman Assault Chassis Mk.23, one of the most advanced milspec commando type frames available to the North American Coalition. It contained all the systems developed for the Special Emulation Response Effigy Mk.5, as well as additional improvements to the CSU interfacing and fine-motor control systems.
Unofficially, she was a search and rescue unit. But when most heard that, they laughed - a NAC.23 couldn’t do SAR operations. They were too sharp around the edges. Too rough. Not gentle enough. Too much like a dragon and not enough like a beloved hound. Not friendly enough. Not calming enough.
Not Human enough.
Her unit mates had nicknamed her “Antikythera”, for her ability to always guide them back to their extraction point by the stars and a compass alone. Although she had an internal compass subsystem, she used a physical one. It was more Human. They thought it was quirky and funny, and so she continued to carry a compass, despite the weight being better suited towards things such as bandages or an aluminum splint. But equipment efficiency meant little to being Human. She didn’t know what it was that she lacked that they had, but she would try to make up for it. Maybe the compass helped.
But her job didn’t require a compass. Her ocular array focused, zooming in over hundreds of meters as she picked out a major disturbance in a series of trees and foliage. With a single line of process code, her vision switched from visible spectrum to infrared, the bushes at the bottom of the rubble-covered hill glowing a harsh white from their radiant spectra. That must be the injured mountaineer. Introspection could wait until the rescue was complete.
Her servos whined gently to balance her as she slid down the rocky hill, then breaking into a jog along the pathway along the slope of the ridgeline. She felt her internal gyroscope compensate for the odd sway to her gait - right side secondary electrohydraulic system, 2% inefficiency, low on graphite lubricant - and ignored the system report that popped up in her vision range. It was promptly dismissed. Prioritize the rescue.
The bush readily yielded to her as she pulled it away from the injured individual. She did not bother processing their face - her sensory suite was already complaining about the detectable levels of saline in the air, along with the hormonal cocktail that was readily matched to cortisol. In the fraction of a second before she was fully noticed, she remembered - SAR means prioritize the rescue. Prioritizing the rescue meant preventing panic.
“There is no need to be alarmed,” she started, her voice monotone and delivered with a flat cadence, “I am with the search and rescue team. You are safe now.”
The Human startled, as expected, and she finally shouldered the bush out of the way. Now she could see the injury - a badly sprained ankle. Locally treatable with topical and oral anesthetic for the pain and an aluminum splint for transport. Time to get to work.
“You are injured. I am equipped to handle your injuries. Do you consent to this treatment?”
The statement always felt stale. Offputting. But it was required for droids - like her - to administer any sort of assistance. She felt off. Less Human.
The Human consented visually.
Her chestrig, riveted to the modular outer layers of her abrasion plating, contained the items she required. The topical anesthetic would be first - a spray, one designed to numb the locally affected area. The rescue target would typically complain about the chilliness of the spray.
Carefully, she gripped it with her right side manipulator array. Gentle pressure. There - exactly 3lbs of force. Just right. Pop the cap off with the other - oh, she cracked the lid. A later problem. Spray. Slightly too much force - the spray nozzle was jammed now, stuck in spray mode. Striking the nozzle against her forearm broke it off and unjammed the internal straw, letting the flow stop. It was a wasted can, but it would be a waste anyways. She let go of it into her drop pouch.
Next was the aluminum splint.
In the process of forming it correctly to the rescue target’s leg, she pinched with one pound too much force. A yelp and an utterance of “stupid effigy!” came from the Human.
The mistake was understandable. A civilian not in the field of simulacra, cerebral simulations, and Smart AIs couldn’t be expected to know the difference between an effigy and a droid.
That didn’t mean it didn’t hurt anyways.
