C: We've talked about the sprint format, the sprint weekend. It's your favourite subject. I know you're not a fan but now there's word that it might change, the set-up is going to change. Qualifying on Saturday and sprint shoot-out on Friday night. How do you look at it?

M: They can do whatever they want. You know, I think it's just making up stuff because they just have no clue what to do anymore instead if just keeping things normal. That annoys me anyway: why does the sport suddenly need to be different? Other sports don't change their rules constantly either or start playing 30 minutes games. I just don't get it.

C: You mean they're thinking up stuff, making as many adjustments as possible, just to make everybody happy .

M: No, to make as much money as possible. That's what it's about.

C: That, too. You still hate it, right? Even when the adjustments and the qualifying on Saturday will happen?

M: Yeah.

M: Regular race weekends!

weet je. elke dag dat ik iemand anders over de vloer heb of ergens langs kom geloof ik die grafieken/kaarten van Europa waarop Nederland 't slechtste uitkomst met "50% wast hun handen na het plassen" steeds meer. waarom kan ik bijna nooit zeep vinden in iemand's huis. waarom loog mijn thuisbegeleider net dat ze d'r handen waste.

Heb net moeten rennen voor m'n bus (overstap vanaf een vertraagde trein) en dat doet me denken aan één soort mensen die ik niet snap: de mensen die zo zitten van 'ik ga niet rennen voor m'n trein/bus want stel je voor dat ik dan op zo'n insta of tiktok pagina kom!!!'
