3:55 Hereford – Dunne returns on Molliana
Neil Mulholland’s Molliana is in spectacular form – albeit in Jersey – and chases a fourth straight victory in the Sky Sports Racing Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (3:55) against six rivals…
In the coastline city of Kagill, just a few miles away from the capital rests a little inn known as the Molliana Mill. On this particular midsummers night the inn is full of life. Customers enjoy themselves in drinks and card games while a singer entertains the guests. The singer in question is a sheep-girl, a species that isn’t really settles itself in cities like this.
As her voice fills the air it’s cut short when a scream bellows out. At the table right in front of the stage a man tries in vain to remove the knife that was stabbed through his hand, pinning him down. The stabber in question was a women dressed in a midnight black cloak. Chaos ensured, as some drunken guests hurry out the door or up to their rooms for safety and some of them ready their weapons.
Soon a large brawl erupt, swings from swords and gunshots rang out. The women dodged the attacks and proceeded to fight with nothing but a dagger. A man with strange ears and twin tails escorted the singer behind a makeshift table shield. Then suddenly, a bolt of magical energy came bursting through the door, hitting a brawler square in the face. A blue skinned person charged into the inn, shouting about “getting this party going”. But fortunately the owner of the inn, Miss Molliana herself, stops the brawl with a well placed gunshot. The rowdy guests get kicked out for their troubles and now only four people remain. Those being the sheep-girl singer, the mysterious women, the tailed man, and the now bored magic user.
The sheep girl (who introducing herself as Peony Macentire) questions the women on why she stabbed the man, her response is that the drunk fool was trying to cope a feel at the singer. She states that her name is Viola Khu and doesn’t say much else. Peony then thanks the man who saved her during the brawl, he accepts but coldly responses that she should have watched herself. He introducing himself as Keli and like Viola, doesn’t sat much else. The group turns their attention to the magic user, who is now trying to get some ales. The user only tells them to find a still a tact table to drink. They sit at a table and the user tells them to drink up, as “they deserve it after that blast of a party”. Their name is Mazu Rise and soon, the party enjoys a drink after the rough night. Little did they know that this would be the start of a grand adventure.
