I don't think these exist yet, so even though I'm not good at coining things, I just made them myself.

The flag just follows the format of the other -a- orientation terms, with the monogender flag colours. I like to think the white stripe represents attraction, but then again, it may also just be based off of the man and woman flags that also use white.

is there a term for being apathetic to romance and, in general, aromantic EXCEPT for one person? ive dated 10+ ppl and cant rlly say i felt anything remotely romantic to them, but i have no reservations or difficulties being romantic w my current bf. i cannot feel romantic attraction save for this one anomaly, otherwise, ive got nothing. is it just gray aro or being monogamous? is that how romantic attraction works?

As far as I am aware, grey aromantic is the closest term that exists. I can understand how it might not feel a perfect fit for your scenario, however. Spooky and I have been talking, and they think a new term would be useful for you.

Monoaromantic: being apathetic to romance and generally aromantic with the exception of one single person. Someone who is monoaromantic will not know this is their romantic orientation until they have encountered the one person that is their exception.

i havent ever connected to a term as immediately as i have with monoaromantic. like i know i asked abt it but ive never had a term for it. i love the flag too! i was thinking abt a pallette we could use thats somewhat different to the aro flag, and what abt pink and green? pink for the romantic love for the one person and green for the aromantic aspect of the orientation?
