can you write a oneshot abt giyuu with an s/o who has high anxiety/ gets anxiety or panic attacks around big crowds? im one of those ppl,and it would be great to see a drabble like this

Giyuu with a High Anxiety S/O | Headcanons

First of all, I'd like to make it known that I don't see Giyuu as having anxiety of any sort

That being said, he also isn't a big fan of crowds, but he knows how to manage them better, so he takes the lead through crowds if it's ever necessary

Typically if he has the choice, and his S/O is with him, he'd make the decision to avoid any big cities, to stay away from the clusters of people

But sometimes that's not an option, so he and his S/O would definitely come up with a system ahead of time that would help alleviate some of the anxiety beforehand, so neither of you are taken by surprise when it happens

First and foremost, if it helps his S/O at all, he'll give them his haori to wear. Sometimes it helps to have something or wear something that belongs to a loved one when dealing with anxiety, so if it helps he'll give it over without fuss

Some of ya'll won't believe me, but if his S/O asked him if they could hold hands, he'd do it in an INSTANT. Giyuu doesn't exactly like PDA and he's not the most tactful when it comes to affection in general, but you can't tell me he wouldn't be grippin' the fuck out of his S/O's hand if it meant it would help calm them

He keeps them close for as long as they're in the city. He has enough anxiety as it is around losing people, but the thought of a panic attack happening while he's not there would make him even more protective

Eating happens as soon as they're away from the worst of the crowding. I know that eating is super hard sometimes if you're having really bad anxiety, but trust me when I say it helps.

So even if it's just a little bit, it'd make Giyuu feel better, and it'll make yourself feel better in the process

And if none of that works? If you're not in a hurry, Giyuu's patient enough to wait out the crowds until the early hours of the morning. If it's a mission, and he can't spare that much time, he'll still try to take backroads and alleyways around the worst of the clamour in order to keep his S/O calm and collected for the most part

Giyuu isn't perfect when it comes to handling mental illness (he likely doesn't even know he has one) but his S/O matters more than anything to him, so he's more than willing to put in the work for them, to make sure they're comfortable

Yoriichi with a Narcoleptic Daughter | Headcanons

He notices something is, not necessarily wrong, but off, even though he doesn't mention it

Yoriichi tries not to worry, but when he finds her out on the engawa in the middle of the night, or tucked into his side in the morning, he grows more concerned

He nearly has a heart attack the first time he sees her fall out in the middle of the day

He calls on so many doctors to look over her, and hopefully bring him a diagnosis. Imagine his dread when they can't find anything wrong with her; she's perfectly healthy

Yoriichi tries not to automatically assume that it's a blood demon art, but there's not much else it could be. He keeps her perfectly safe, though - there's no way any demon could get close enough to harm her

He's a worrier, but he tries to get used to seeing her fall asleep in the most random places

Alongside that, he has to adapt to her strange sleeping patterns, if she manages to get any rest at all

Whenever she falls asleep on him, he can feel his heart squeeze

Legit doesn't move for hours when she does that, especially if she didn't sleep much the night before. He holds her like he did when she was a baby - when he was terrified of putting her down for anything

Yoriichi's not the most emotional personal, especially since he's a man raising this child on his own in the mid-1400s but he'd do absolutely anything for his child, anything

Super super protective. He's busy a lot of the time, but he tries his best to keep his child safe under any and all circumstances

He tries not to coddle her, but he does a bad job about it. That's his only daughter, and he'll make sure that she's 100% safe at all times - even in her most vulnerable state.

Muichiro with a Sibling as the Moon Pillar | Headcanons

After his brother's death, part of Muichiro isn't even aware that he still has an older sibling to turn to

He's not going to forget that bond he has with that person - but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy for him to recall anything

They love him, that's all he knows

Moon Breathing is a difficult style to master, but Muichiro wouldn't be aware that his older sibling used said form unless he saw it in combat

The fact that they use Mist Breathing as well doesn't help

Very little is known about Moon Breathing, other than the fact that it's one of the purest offshoots of Sun Breathing. There hasn't been a Moon Pillar in almost five-hundred years - the breath style was more likely than not extinct

How they got their hands on the techniques and breath forms in a mystery, but the fact that they can utilize it so effortlessly speaks volumes about their raw talent

The breath form performed by Kokushibou is more beautiful than you would expect, though some forms that Upper Moon One uses cannot be performed properly by a regular blade

Part of the reason why the Moon Pillar doesn't regularly use their own breathing style is because of how difficult it is to perform when in approximation to other Demon Slayers. The raw strength is requires to perform is more destructive than it seems, and it's a liability when they aren't fighting solo

The first time they use it around others, is to protect their little brother

They're adept at using Mist Breathing, yes, but being able to use it isn't the same as mastering it. Mist Breathing hardly holds a candle to Moon Breathing on a good day, and especially not when utilised by an expert swordsman

Everyone is surprised in their abilities - this was pertinent information that everyone had to know, why did they keep it a secret - but Muichiro is very protective

He's not the bark bark hisssss kind of protective, but he will defend his sibling and their choices. He will openly use the fact that they saved him to make his point, even if it hurts his pride a smidgen

Muichiro BEGS to train with them.

He never really had a proper sibling relationship with them when they were demon slayers, or even when they became Hashira. Once he's regained his memories, after the Swordsmith Village Arc, he'll want to make up for the time they've lost - the time he lost them with his amnesia.

Honestly I'm not sure what else to say. Muichiro is a good little brother, even if he is kind of an asshole sometimes

I just wanted to see how yoriichi would react to someone being stronger than him because you know he is always praised to be the strongest.

I feel like he would act like he wouldn't care much but would secretly admire the reader and try to get to know them better.😂✨

Strength doesn't faze him. He wouldn't feel hurt if his S/O was stronger than him. It's almost impossible to hurt his masculinity or wound his pride, he's so gentle

Yoriichi might even feel a sense of happiness once he realises his S/O is capable of taking care of themselves. He worries constantly for their safety

He's had a rough life. He's lost a lot of people, so it might bring him some peace of mind to know that his S/O doesn't need to be taken care of or fussed over

If you ask nicely enough, he'll spar with you, even though he's not really a fighter

If his S/O is a lot stronger than him, he'll take a backseat just to watch them

I'm sure Yoriichi would rather not have to fight ever, so he won't unless it's incredibly important

Despite their strength being nearly on par with one another, Yoriichi and his S/O are almost exact opposites

Yoriichi is strong because he has almost no fighting spirit in his body; his S/O is overflowing with it, entirely uncontained and unrestricted to their physical body. Their power extends outwards with their energy

He would admire their spirit and energy, though it's a little foreign to him. He doesn't get excited when fighting, not in the same way his S/O does

He's incredibly relieved that they're strong enough to take care of themselves. It means he can focus on the finer things that don't come with life as a demon slayer. It means he won't be driving himself into a corner, up a wall, and through hoops trying to keep them safe.

These are headcanons that don't follow the canon-verse because I don't really like how sad life went for these two:

Yoriichi and Michikatsu headcanons:

~Michikatsu and Yoriichi both escaped their home and took their mother Akeno with them, the woman was sick an all but the two helped her to go with them and the three lived for a little while together before Akeno finally passed.

~Where their mother was buried the blue spider lily bloomed for a few days.

~Since their mother's wish was for the two brothers to live together in harmony and love each other as brothers would. To have each others back and to support each other in their hopes and dreams.

~Michikatsu doesn't feel jealous about his little brother in this(Kokushibo is non-existent in this, Nakime is Upper Moon 1 in this) he supports him. Yoriichi doesn't care much about his strength or his superhuman abilities, he just cares about his older brother.

~The flute that Michikatsu made for Yoriichi still is there. Yoriichi kept the promise that he would play it if he truly needed his brother's help.

~Their father dies too. But they don't go back to his grave. Abusive as he had been with the two, he doesn't deserve having his wonderful sons. He died lonely for being the jerkass that he was with the two.

~The two twins are demon slayers in this, their breathing styles still are The Sun and The Moon. They battle together the demons, the outstanding pair of twins really are the eye of admiration from the other demon slayers.

~As they both turn 20 the two already have their girlfriends. Yoriichi with Uta and Michikatsu with his girlfriend(I decided to give her the name of Sayori in this since she was unnamed)

~When Uta is in her last month of pregnancy and Yoriichi set off to find a midwife and Yoriichi took long to get back. Uta is alive waiting for him, Michikatsu fended off the demon and saved Uta. Yoriichi is able to meet his newborn. It is a girl. Her name is Yasuko.

~Yoriichi encounters Muzan and Tamayo, like in canon he is not able to kill Muzan and he lets Tamayo escape. The demon slayers still are angry at him and still shout that Yoriichi should commit seppuku for letting those demons run off. Michikatsu becomes furious and lashes out at everyone who said that about his brother. Yoriichi calms him down that he would be fine. The Oyakata lets Yoriichi live but he is banished from the demon slayer corps.

~The Kamado ancestor couple finds hospility in the Tsugikuni household. Yoriichi gets them a midwife and Sumire is born safe and sound. Yoriichi is her godfather and Sumiyoshi and Suyako's second child when born is Michikatsu's godson.

In this AU verse of mine the twins have such a happy life. Canon is not with me because I love these two so much. I need them to keep happy, so my headcanon-verse is much more different from the canon-verse 😚

Sometimes, the things that happen to a certain character are what makes that person who they are. Yoriichi never would have joined the Demon Slayer Corps if Uta hadn't died, and because of that, Michikatsu would have never joined alongside him. The type of person they become has a direct correlation to their past, and what they've experienced before. I appreciate the sentiments you have for them, though!
