Part 1

Clouds softly eliminate the sun and cast a gray in the sky, darkening the day. The day couldn’t go by any slower than it was. An hour felt like years and minutes felt like months. And seconds felt like weeks. Changkyun stayed at the studio to by pass time. Only it was only making it worse as he was thinking about her.

Her scent, her touch, her vibe. His lover he lost a year ago. The woman of his dreams. Literally. Every morning he wakes up with a sweat and choke. He never wants to leave her but it’s not like he can sleep 24/7.

With a sigh he gets up and leaves the studio and heads home for the highlight of his nights.

For the past 6months she’s been visiting him in his dreams but can’t understand the meaning.

He walks inside the dorm of his shared band mates apartment and showers real fast.

He gets out of the shower and stares into the mirror. “My love, if you can hear me, why are you here? Why have you not moved on to the light? I don’t want to keep you here any longer.” He balls his fist up and slams his hand against the mirror. A crack shifts inside the mirror. A soft voice whispered in his ear.

“Do you not love me anymore?”

He gasps and turns around. Nothing. He feels or senses no one there.

“Changkyun! Are you alright in there?” Minhyuk and Kihyun could be heard outside the bathroom door.

“Uh... oh. Yes. Im sorry I accidentally broke the mirror.” Changkyun opens the door and rushes past in between them.

Kihyun and minhyun look at one another and look at the mirror with worry. They don’t question but help Changkyun clean it up.

Changkyun lies in bed and stares at his ceiling. This is when it’s hardest to fall asleep. It takes him a few hours to sleep.

Then when he slowly drifts into restless mode and dives deep into darkness he can smell the scent of roses and dirt. But earthy good dirt.

His nose nuzzled up in her soft, combed, straight, long black hair. Messy to the touch. His arms holding her waist bringing her closer every time he shifts. Her skin warm and gentle as she traces her fingers against his arm that wraps around her. A smile lies upon her lips with soft gentle eyes closed as she feels Changkyun wrapped around her. “Do you not love me anymore kyunnie?” The same whisper he heard a moment before bed.

He opened his eyes and nuzzled more into her. “I love you with my heart and soul my love.” He says in her neck softly.

“Then why do you insist on me leaving you.” She asks with a frown and now looking at changkyun’s fingers. She plays with his fingers and runs her fingers between them.

“I fear you are lost in this forsaken world when you can travel to the next life or light. Why must you be here with a soulless me?” He asks now turning her body around to face him.

She sighs and lies her fingers against his cheek. Her gentle touch has pure love and compassion for him.

“I must stay for a message. I have not moved in because I have unfinished business.” She sits up and suddenly they are no longer in their bed.

He is standing by a public pool. A pool full of blood. Then another flash gone. No more pool was seen. They are standing in the fog. Rose bushes all around.

“I can’t lose you my love. Please tell me why you are here.” Changkyun steps closer to her only to be pricked in the foot with a thorn. He doesn’t care he winced each step and not even getting near her.

“I need you to find me.” Changkyun looks at her confused and reaches towards her.

Her hand barely touching the tip of his middle finger. He can’t reach any more. His feet burn with pain. Tears slide form his eyes down his cheeks.

“F-find you? I’m the one who buried you! Please Bebe! Please my love! Don’t leave yet!”

Light burns the eyelids of his eyes and forces him awake. Another night he feels he hasn’t slept. He feels he hasn’t slept in a full year, since she passed.

All he remembers is the words “find me.” He gets up and gets dressed. His members are worried about him and make him breakfast. He looks at it and says “no thanks.” And walks out the door. He was told his love was found dead by accident at a gathering. She slipped down the stairs is what he was told. But now he’s gotta find out everyone at this gathering and who was there and who they were to her.

His first step was his company. She was part of monsta x staff crew.

He walks inside the company of lies.

Additional: My first try at writing, I feel like this is gonna suck. But I'm constantly trying to imrove. Hope some of you like it. :)

I couldn't stop the tears from falling. At first, I didn't even notice them. I didn't think there were any left. Not after all these sleepless and cold nights without him. 

It's been nearly six months since Minhyuk left for tour. Left to live his dream, which he worked incredibly hard for. He felt guilty, that's what he told me shortly before he left. With tears brimming in my eyes, I reassured him to feel proud instead. Because I am and who am I to stop him just because of a hurting heart. 

It has been a few days since the last Skype call. And knowing his schedule, I don't blame him. During the days I occupy myself with so much work I come home completely exhausted in the evening. Minhyuk shouldn't be the only hard-working person in this relationship, I want him to be proud of me too. But that seems to be a cheap excuse to distract myself from thinking about all the promises he made. 

It's the nights that cause me trouble breathing. The realization of me not being able to picture his face, when I close my eyes. To imagine he's lying here right next to me, ready to wipe my tears whenever a new one submerges. Even with all the photos on my phone, his face remains blurry. It never looks quite like Minhyuk, it feels wrong. It's drowning in a sea of strangers.  

The harder I try, the less I can see the way he used to scrunch up his nose whenever I told a bad joke. I'm struggling to remember the exact shade of gold his eyes held, when the sun shone through the window blinds on an early Sunday morning. 

I forgot the melody he used to hum while making his special chocolate chip pancakes. The memory of his scent is almost completely gone. I even stopped wearing his shirts, his scent long disappeared. 

Each night I'm lying awake and asking myself if it's all worth it. If it's not just wasted time. Maybe he's changed and with him his feelings. What if his touch is going to feel strange and his presence foreign? All I know is that time spent with the person you love most is never wasted. And that I don't feel complete without him.
