We have the odd doubter who will sometimes come to myself or @rozehenna and they will ask us WHY we continue to run our @monthlymehndimeet when we put in so much work, but in terms of business turnover we don't really get anything back from it. "Wouldn't your time be better spent working more appointments? (or rolling more cones, in Rozeena's case)" The truth is that we rely on the regular practice groups even more than our members. This past winter has been a very tough, very quiet season for the henna industry. It usually is, but this one was particularly harsh. Had it not been for our #MonthlyMehndiMeet I am pretty certain I would have come to a #DeadStop in henna art. There was no call for giving myself henna, and there were little to no appointments to fulfill. The #MMM served as a fantastic way for us to touch base, reconnect and remind ourselves of the therapy, comfort and reassurance that henna has represented in our lives - long before it became "work". More than ever, Roze and I are truly grateful for this little community we have created, and inspired throughout the UK. We see you. All of you! And we think you are all Brilliant. .
