11. a WIP you’d like to finish someday -

not fanfic, although i have many of them i wish could see the world, but i'd love to finish my werewolves in space wip. it rattles around in my brain constantly and the actors my mind cast for the main roles are inspiration alone. i am easily spooked by my original works tho so god only knows if it'll ever be seen. 🥲

12. a trope you’re really into right now -

finding each other in every life (whether familial or platonic or romantic or anything else). it helps me sleep at night. 🥺

16. favorite place to write -

in my bed, just before going to sleep, with something chill on the tv. the words flow better there. it's peaceful. 😌

22. do you ever worry about public reaction to what you’re writing? how do you get past that? -

yeah. but also no, not really. by the time i'm in a position to be worrying about that, i've put so much effort and time into the thing that my delight at posting it, shuts off most of the bad what-ifs. i've been real lucky and only ever had nice experiences so far too. if i do worry about it before getting there tho, i hit up my sister or my other hype men and let them distract me from it with their biased povs. 😂

27. your favorite part of the writing process -

just the writing and editing in general, i guess. like when everything is starting to sing and you can add details and hidden gems. when you have a hole and you suddenly know how to fill it. matching words together that compliment each other and let the sentence paint the picture in a fun way. when the ideas elaborate on themselves and i just have to be the bricklayer. it's just really pleasing and calming when a piece starts coming together and you are running down that hill with all the momentum. 💪

29. how easy is it for you to come up with titles? -

90% of the time? too easily. i normally have a title idea before i start writing or just after. or there's something i wrote and when i am reading through later & i see it, i go: "👀 free title real estate mayhaps? 👉👈". at the moment i have like two to three titles for all my fics and works in progress and could come up with more without being threatened. 😂 i'm going to have such a hard time of it when i have to decide. 🫠

FIRST MOVE

There had always been something lingering between me and Prompto. Something on the tip of our tongues and promptly bitten back by our respective insecurities and interruptions. It was always written off as us simply being affectionate childhood friends who bounced off of one another, but the yearning to become something more intensified. But how could I, the fake that I am, call someone so great "mine"? They deserve better. It didn't help that Prom didn't want to go against the Bro Code silently established by dating his best friend's sister. Even if Noct assured him that he trusted him, his insecurities continued to stand in the way.

Our shoulders pressed comfortably together while we overlooked the world beyond Lestallum in a comfortable silence for...well, I lost track of time long ago. My mouth moved before I could process the weight the words carried, only for his words to hear in the open night sky. I couldn't imagine a life without Prompto and even if it was merely as friends, that would be enough. His face lit up with a smile and rosy cheeks that had me melting in his hands palms while the distance between us closed and everything felt so undeniably right. It wasn't until the next day that we looked at each other while we were getting ready, memories of the night before flashing in our minds.

A romantic relationship with the Lucian princess treads a complicated line that makes him wonder where Gladiolus Amicitia ends and the Chosen King's Shield begins. Everything about us is different from your normal friendship, from who we are down to our titles, that starting something so intimate isn't that easy. At the end of the day we were still friends and that was enough, that should have been enough. But each lingering touch reciprocated, the sweet nicknames, the inside jokes, the security his presence brought, it all felt like so much more and ignited hope. It was like a key to a door we both refused to acknowledge.

The confession is as abrupt as mine was to Prompto, only a bit more emotionally-charged. Zegnautus Keep is cold and oppressive and I have little recollection of winding up in an unfamiliar room hen we were just on the train. But Gladio isn't. He's warm and the epitome of safety as he holds me close like I'll disappear (again) if he lets go. Each word is so passionate and devoted that it clears any insecurity and doubt, only heightened by the way his mouth moves against mine. It's too chaotic to really establish what this means for us now, but the heart in my hands like the one in his may just be enough.

ARE YOU OKAY

As the team support, I usually check over everyone first and supply first aid as needed post-battle. I usually initiate it by asking how everyone is and if there is anything I can do to help, fretting over everyone and caring for even the smallest physical or emotional wound. Noct says I worry too much, but I don't think so. It comes to naturally to me. I have a habit of prioritizing others before myself, so Prom becomes a bit of a mother hen and makes sure I take some time to myself as needed. Gladio checks in with a keen eye and question of how I'm holding up, all with a tone that dares me to try and lie through my teeth as if he wouldn't catch it.

Emotionally, Gladio is a bit more gruff and will call out my shit if I try to brush my own pain away, especially if it's to focus on someone else instead. It hurts in the moment, but it's definitely helpful in the long-run and I know he just wants to see me as my best self. But he does lend an ear, or a fist if someone was the cause of my tears. Prompto, meanwhile, is a lot more gentle and less confrontational. He lends good advice and a has a very comfortable presence that keeps me grounded. He reassures me that he'll always be around to listen and assures me that none of my worries are silly, and that they're all valid.

✦ which member would be my best friend : i actually don’t know 😭 i still don’t know them that well. still doing my lil deep dive on my own. but if i had to chose based on what i’ve seen so far…… maybe mingi. something abt him. or actually maybe jongho bc i tend to befriend introverts a lot faster than extroverts. where my loud introverts at.

✦ something i associate with them (or with a bias/any member) : i associate woosan with @userwoosan lmao 😭 but other than that i associate them all with the server 🫶🏽 and that one ateez high school ep with wooyoung when he was stuffing his face with dumplings. and they came dead last in the challenge 😭😭😭 also mingi’s pink hair bc of all the damn edits that have been popping on my fyp. something in his psyche must’ve flipped or something bc why is he acting like that……. san with horror bc i watched that horror serious. baby. hes going in my pocket. oh and hongjoong and his little weird hat collection. bc why did an atiny on twt say he got a whole squirrel on his head 😭

mr. stranger danger update under the cut because it will get too long

we didn't meet up again, plans of doing so are still being made — he has mentioned twice that he misses me? sobsob?

no in person meeting but we have been in touch texting daily. there was one day he started with a random "good morning. goodnight. that's today's" and i playfully texted an "are you going to text me these every day?" back — turns out we really started to greet each other after waking up and before going bed.

we have also been listening to music together and sharing songs. he asked why i seemed to like most of the songs he recommended. my reply was "one, because you are the one recommending them. two, because my music taste range is wide". he answered with "i only see the first part of your message and it makes me happy".

one of the sweetest things he has done was to stay until past 4 am keeping me company (and making sure that i took breaks and drank water every half an hour) while i was studying history. and he stayed until 2 am yesterday while i was studying a law subject (random fact: think i haven't told you yet, but one of my majors is law).

also find it adorable how he tells me when he will be busy and will reply late. told him it was not necessary because i don't mind late replies, but he still does it to tell me he will reply at some point :(

asides from being sweet, he is a menace and often ends up cracking suggestive jokes at the most random times. also a menace because of how confusing he is — it's like he's very transparent but hard to read at the same time, personified contradiction.

friends are telling me to give him a chance as a boyfriend, but i don't think he likes me that way? not dense as far as i'm concerned, but doubting myself right now aknsnd.

the plot twist? my cousin's friend intended to present dear mr. danger as a possible romantic interest for her, but mr. danger said he isn't into older girls. and cousin has no interest in younger boys either. and that's how i was thrown in between? still rethinking life.

tldr; mr. danger is a sweet menace of a contradictory human being. and he confuses me.

The type of boyfriend who takes you out on study dates. As much as he loves you being lazy and unproductive, Jinwoo prefers gently pushing you to have decent grades, but really, it's all just an excuse to have you spend more time with him.

If he wants to spend time with you, he would just make various excuse to have you come out of your home just like,

"My clothes are too small, help me pick out?" Instead, he buys you clothes as you help him pick outfits that suit him. "I'm hungry, so let's go out." He just wants to bring you to delicious restaurants so you can eat a lot and be a little chubbier. He loves you thicker and plumper after all. "My phone broke down so lets go to the mall after school" He does buy one for himself but he also gets one for you no matter how new your current phone is.

Cuddles? Oh he definitely is the touchy type behind closed doors. You could be peacefully passing by him to fetch your charger and then all of the sudden his strong arm would yank you out of balance and immediately tuck you into his embrace. Does he move? Nope. Brat even falls asleep in an instant just so you really cant get out of his hold.

Well to be fair, he is much more bearable unlike in the mornings where he really traps you in his hold. He would be sprawled around in bed, his strong arm wrapped around your waist, keeping you there no matter how much you complain and whine that you want to get up. He will, however, get up once you mention you are hungry. He picks you up sleepily and proceeds to make you both breakfast despite the fact that he is carrying you. Clingy boyfriends will be clingy boyfriends.

Jinwoo is a relatively quiet person, he prefers listening to you ramble around. While you babble on and on, he sneakily gives his hand to you so you can play with it. Poke his palms, trace his scars, and Jinwoo will close his eyes sweetly while relaxing into your playful fidgeting.

When he is feeling a little more playful, Jinwoo would suddenly wrap you in a blanket and turn you into a burrito so he could cuddle you tighter.

Jinwoo absolutely loves pampering you. Whether it'd be with his playful touches, his teasing, or him cooking your favourite meals— He does his best to show you how much he loves you.

But of course, Jinwoo has his own clingier side. Like the fact that he often leans down to you and opens his mouth lazily so you can feed him. He also adores resting on your lap and having his head snuggled up on your tummy whilst you fiddle around with his fluffy black hair.

Most people would call him a black cat from the way he carries himself. But you yourself know that he is a puppy in disguise. Always following you around like a tail, seeking your pokes and touches. Looking for playfulness.

He loves having your warm palms cup and squish his cheeks, he loves it when you compare hand sizes, he loves it when he carries you on his back, he loves every little thing you do.

If asked why he chose you out of everyone else, he simply says thus:

"Because I couldn't choose anyone else. I needed you. I needed to have you. I needed to be the one to love you."

Walking down the different shelfs of comic books, figurines along with other merch spread on walls. Being here was a goal everytime, finding the latest comic book of Starfarer. Sadly with every try it was gone and had to wait for next delivery comes in.

There is was, in all its glory wrapped in plastic being the last one standing. With heist they moved to grab it, without seeing the other person looking at it. To consumed with the thought of bringing it home.

Reaching out to take it when another hand took the other side at the same time, they both quickly looked at each other. He was a taller with at least half a head of blond hair, bright green eyes. Faint freckles adorning his face.

"Ah, sorry" moving my hand from the comic out panic, chuckling dryly. "Did not see anyone else.. reaching for it."  initiating the situation, yet he didn't seem upset at all which made them feel better "Heh, yeah no biggie at all." Waving his hands dismissively with a slight lopsided grin, showing his weak dimples.

The silence spoke volums, both holding they're breaths. Not sure what to say nor what to do, kind of just looking at each other for a few seconds. "I oh uh, you can have it. Seemed like you wanted almost more than i do." Using his fallen hand holding the comic book up to give it to them, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully. Trying to avoid eye contact at all cost from his side.

"Oh! No no." Waving one hand in disagremente, "You we're here first, it's only right if you take it." Both arms falling down, polite smile alongside a singular headshake. "I insist." He chuckled dryly, matching with his arms resting by his side. Soon to be lifted to surrender. "Ay, fine I'll take it." With his reaction only made a small grin reach they're face.

Silence once again strike the duo, before a voice spoke up seemingly in a hurry. "Lloyd! We've got to go, Wu wants to see us all." Both turning heads to see spikey brown hair, leaving only one them to question how his hair did such?

"I'll be out in a second, Kai." He mumbled seemingly annoyed at the interruption. After being left alone to us two he gifted me another smile, "Sorry about him, see you around?" Raising a brow at his question but nodding nontheless. "Sure." The agreement seemed to make his smile widen to a genuine grin. The dimples showcasing further.

Without another moment he seemed to be out the doors leaving but not before turning back for a second, they had noticed the comic book, Starfarer wasn't bought? Looking down to see it placed in they're hands, surprised how they didn't noticed, feeling a paper on the back which resolved by flipping the book. Stuck on a neon yellow paper which stood

'Let's get to know each other, how about a date? :D

The smile on they're face grew alongside a small subtil warmth on the cheeks, knowing they would be going on a date in hopefully not too long.

🏵️ Kisaki tracks y'all down and pulls some strings to get you out. It's the first and probably last time you're ever happy to see Kisaki. Hanma unsurprisingly enjoyed himself and didn't want to leave (Kisaki would have left his crazy ass there too). He suggests that you two go back sometime soon.

"Y'know, we should go back there-"

"Absolutely not!"

"What??? I was just gonna say we should go back and visit the nurses ♡"
