Paganism poll!
If you call your believes "a pagan religion", please vote down below! I'm making a little research for myself, results of which I will post on this blog.
I've made a similar Greek polytheism post!
To clarify, we're are not choosing just one option here! It is implied that nature worship is within the religion or practice regardless. It is the question of mindset of what you put first in your day-to-day worship, what do your festivals/holidays revolve around and such.
If you answer on the poll, please comment/tag your answer and the religion you follow/attribute yourself to!
Although it is not necessarily required for the research I'm doing, that will allow me to do more specific attributions of what religions do people call pagan and what's their actual central part of worship!
Huge thanks to anyone who votes!
Please reblog for a bigger sample size!

Apollo as a Protector of Pastures and Shepherds
Finally finished this piece! I was hoping to do a little more with it, but sadly, I didn't have that much time and was extremely tired at the time. This one goes primarily for my university assignment :)

Prayers
1. To Artemis
Khaire, Artemis!
Goddess of many names!
You take pride
In roaming the forests
Rarely visiting divine Olympus.
Your illustrious mother
And loyal Nymphai
Stand beside you
As you hunt on mountain hills.
O, bright goddess of the moon,
You push people to nature.
If my offerings were sweet to you,
Pull me closer to divine
And ground me in your domain.
Please keep my mind sharp
Like your deadly arrows.
Thank you, for being with me always.
I shall forever praise you.
Prayer to Lady Artemis. Written by me. Shared with her approval. Hope that this will help and/or inspire someone <3

Lord Apollo became a number one God of knowledge and studying for me.
Last year I was trying to get to a European University. The thing I and my mom were working on for years. And He was there for me.
Further I was fighting for the documents and other legal matters for the University. And He was there for me.
Last two months I had my first exams there. That was stressful, I honestly thought I will go absolutely nuts. I'd cry, I'd rage, I'd stay up all night, I'd not be able to give offerings or clean the altars and generally my living space.
And. He. was. there. for. me.
In fact, he is here with me.
Inevitably a new altar for him appeared on my work desk to celebrate and worship Lord Apollo with this aspect of his that I've come so close to.
Thank you Lord Apollo, I'll be forever grateful 💛

Happy Thargelia!
Happy Birthday Artemis!
Tumblr media
"A drink between the dances"
A small sketch for Lady Artemis. I wanted to try and depict her getting a drink in between of dancing, as the dance was a big part of her cult, as far as I'm aware. I imagine, she'd love to dance today as well <3
I know for most of the people today is the second day of Thargelia already, but by mine it is the first one, so excuse me for being late lol.

The Slovak thrift shops are literally on a different level. Please allow me to boast a lil.
So in the past 2 weeks I've seen the statues of Persephone, Hebe, Aphrodite, Venus and a few others I couldn't identify, starting from 2 to 10€ (~2.12-10.59$) each. I've also seen (and obv immediately bought) statues of Apollo and Asklepius for 6 € (~6.35$) each. There's also a huge alabaster statue of Zeus for 63€ (66,69$) that I'm literally drooling over every time I see it on their website lol.
And when I thought it could not become better, this drops:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like... 40 cents...
I don't need this particular one, but damn what a find
Beside all the statues I've found a bunch of Greek and Greek like vases, and more obvious things like cool animal statues, tableware etc.
Moral of the story? Don't underestimate the power of thrift shops.
Thank you for listening to my happy rant :)

Queen Leto has grown to be somewhat of a mother figure in my worship. And, honestly, as I worship both Lady Artemis and Lord Apollo, that makes sense in my head.
I started giving her offerings and worshipping her knowing of her close connection to her children.
My connection to her grew even more, when I've had to move apartments in the University dorm. I was so afraid the new roommates will give me no space for my practice, and so I have reached out for help to Queen Leto.
Keeping the myth of her not able to find a spot to settle to bear her children in mind I thought, well, for the next 4 years minimum I will as well be an unstable ship, and even though the correlation perhaps might be not too straight forward, I've decided it's worth a try.
So, as most of my posts will be, this is just my UPG, but thanks to Queen Leto I've been settled to the best kind of room I physically could in my situation.
And honestly at this point the image of Her being a mother figure is so deeply installed in my head that I will probably include her in my Oikos altar. (hopefully I've used the term right, please correct me if I'm wrong! I'm still new to this)
Hail Queen Leto! Hail the Gods! 💜

Sketches for future altar drawings
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leto
Hestia and Zeus for the home altar
Asklepios
Lord Lucifer
Auset (Isis)
After finishing Artemis'es piece I remembered that I'm an artist after all and decided to make a piece for every altar of mine.
Hopefully this sketch dump will make me invest myself more into finishing all of them :)

The amount of patience the Gods must have for us people must be truly immeasurable.
Like at this point I piss myself off, I've no idea how must it feel when I receive help from them, follow up well, nice nice. And then at the very end I start to doubt my knowledge and/or sanity and just dump everything over.
I'm extremely glad that regardless of my clown-like behavior sometimes everything has worked out okay in the end. But I feel this is not the last time I'll be dumb like that lol

Slowly working on Leto's art 👀✨
I wonder, if I'd start accepting commissions, would anybody be interested in similar drawings of Gods 🤔
