Lori Loughlin’s post-prison comeback appears to be official after she appeared in a new Christmas movie on the Great American Family network on Sunday after serving time for her part in the college admissions scheme in 2020.

The 59-year-old actress’ “A Christmas Blessing” aired over the weekend and seemed to get a warm reception from GAF fans, many of whom took to social media to praise the movie and gush about the star’s role in the film on the faith-based network.

“We’re thrilled to present stars Lori Loughlin, MrJamesTupper, and Jesse_Hutch in #AChristmasBlessing, STARTING NOW, on #GreatAmericanFamily! #WelcomeHome #GreatAmericanChristmas [GAfamilyTV],” President and CEO Bill Abbott of Great American Media wrote on X.

“So great to see Lori again. Truly looking forward to this movie more than any other. Super cast!” one person wrote in response to Abbott’s post.

Another added, “Christmas movies on [GAfamilyTV] are seriously a major cut above this year! Loving every minute! #AChristmasBlessing #LoriLoughlin [MrJamesTupper] [Jesse_Hutch] #GreatAmericanFamily #GreatAmericanChristmas #WelcomeHome.”

While another wrote, “GAC brought the best thespians from Hallmark. Anyone looking for a good Christmas movie, who doesn’t have a grudge against Lori Loughlin, should search for ‘A Christmas Blessing.’ On my system it repeats in HD 11/14 & 15 & in SD 11/17 & 18.”

One person even noted that on Sunday that the former “Full House” star started trending on X.

Earlier this year, GAF announced the former “Fuller House” actress would be back on the small screen in an original Christmas movie — just three years after she pled guilty for her part in the Varsity Blues college admission scandal along with her husband Mossimo Giannulli.

In May of 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli pled guilty to a variety of conspiracy charges after paying $500,000 to get their two daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade, into the University of Southern California as phony rowing recruits.

The “Every Christmas Has A Story” star served two months in prison, while her husband got five months behind bars. Loughlin was released in December 2020, but Giannulli remained behind bars. Giannulli was then released early on April 2, 2021, and served the remainder of his sentence at home.

In January, Loughlin appeared in her first TV movie role after serving time behind bars in the GAF original film “Fall Into Winter.”

In the article it states that "12 qualitative interviews were conducted with 4 faculty members from 3 different types of schools of pharmacy in the United Kingdom. It proceeds to say selection was based on a representation of both science-based and practice-based disciplines, gender balance, and teaching experience." This goes to show that they follow one of the theories in Bourdieu’s Theoretical Framework. "the structure of objective relations between the different positions within the field" Is primarily the part of theory that pharmacies tend to follow based on the article.

After learning about Karl Marx's theory this article is the most identical article that I believe relates. Marx's theory is about how the workers and owners have no work agreements that help both sides enough. In this article it speaks about how the workers of amazon are at a living disadvantage unlike the owner of Amazon. It goes into details explaining how they go on protest because they feel they are underpaid and overworked in harsh conditions. In the article it states " Workers at the Amazon warehouse in East Point, ATL 6, held a rally this week demanding higher pay and safer working conditions. Hundreds signed a petition earlier this month for a $5 raise for current employees and $18 an hour starting pay. Employee Brandon Callaway, who helped organize the petition, said he was fired shortly after." This supports Marx's theory because it shows owners are unwilling to give their workers and main money sources a fair incentives.

In this article by "The Guardian" it speaks about how their lifestyle affects their daily lives and places them in their classes. For example their society ranking and their wealth plays a huge part in there upcoming and future choices. All of this ties into Webers theory that the supposedly protestant values of hard work, thrift, efficiency, and orderliness contributes to the economic success. In the article it speaks about how a actor Lori Loughlin was involved in a college bribery scheme but was released. Her reputation and wealth helped her get released from prison. This is an example because both the theory and the article show that as long as you have a status wealth and some accomplishments you have leeway in the industry.

Karl Marx

Karl Marx theory on class examines the extreme inequality between the high elites, the bourgeoisie, and the lower class, the proletariat. I chose this article to represent Marx's theory because it describes the ongoing fight of the proletariat in today’s society. Within this article, amazon workers represent the proletariat while Jeff Bezos represents the bourgeoisie. Amazon workers sell their labor to receive a wage from Jeff Bezos who owns the mean of productions. While working for Amazon, the workers have developed class consciousness. Class consciousness is defined as the proletariats political awareness of their place in society that allows them to unite to change the system. Thus, within the article, amazon workers began to realize the unjust conditions of their working space and the alarming pay gap between them and their CEO Jeff Bezos. After this realization, they rallied together to protest for safer working conditions and fair pay. 

Max Weber 

Max Weber theory on class examines how power, prestige, and property perpetuate class stratification and influence life chances. I chose this article to represent Weber’s theory because it shows how one’s status and influence today can help get certain people ahead or to maintain high class status. For example, this article describes the Lori Loughlin college bribery scandal where she used her money, high status, and influence to cheat her daughter's way into Ivy League institutions. Her efforts show how her prestige and power allowed for better access to a high quality of life by providing more resources for her daughter to succeed. Thus, she proves that power allows for better opportunities for those who possess it, which increases stratification amongst the classes.   

Pierre Bourdieu 

Pierre Bourdieu theory on class examines how education is a main factor in deciding or maintaining one’s class position. I chose this article to represent Bourideu’s theory because it illustrates how the education system in London is designed to continue to keep the working class below the middle class by limiting their resources for success. For example, the working class students receive less qualified teachers and less financial resources from parents to get them more involved in extracurricular activities. As a result, they are less well-rounded as middle class children who receive qualified teachers and access to extracurriculars. Furthermore, this article highlights how education is a main factor in social reproduction. Through education, the rich remain rich while the poor remain poor due to the lack of opportunities and unevenly distributed resources.
