The anon from the Matsuda Hanako headcanons has now an alias! Let me be the first to welcome you, Clarice! These are their headcanons, which are incredible! Take a look at the life of Matsuda Hanako, everyone!
Matsuda Hanako has never been an academical overachiever, and originally her position in the NPA was largely due to the status of her family. Her parents had looked down at her since childhood, for various reasons: her slightly lower than average grades, her unimposing personality, her lack of a competitive drive, her somewhat feminine mannerisms and her lack of interest for certain stereotypically masculine things. That made her insecure and desperate to prove herself. Finding out she was a woman heightened her insecurity- people already didn’t have much respect for her, what were they going to think now? And if she had been accepted largely because of her family’s name, what would happen if her family rejected her? Would it mean a rejection from work too? She became desperate to prove she had value to the police. Since she knew she didn’t excel in deductive work, she decided to focus on physical and arms training, becoming flexible, strong, a great shot and sharpening her reflexes. She’s slightly more serious than her canon counterpart, not because she’s any less emotional or fun loving, but because she’s scared of showing too much of her softer side and being entirely dismissed because of it. She tries to learn more about feminism, but it causes as much harm as it helps, because she mostly uses the internet as her source, and it makes her worried that she is somehow ~perpetuating feminine stereotypes~ by being interested in pop culture + celebrity gossip and being emotional. That’s why Misa’s friendship means so much to her- she encourages her to embrace her more stereotypically feminine interests, while also not dismissing the ways in which she isn’t stereotypically feminine, like her love for acrobatics, fighting and sharp shooting. After she comes out to her parents, her relationship with them becomes even more strained than it already was. They don’t outright reject her, but they don’t really accept her either, and keep misgendering her and looking at her like she’s sick of dirty in some way. Her relationship with the Yagami family grows more and more important to her after this- they respect her, treat her well and look at her like she’s someone. She met Light when he was a teenager and she wasn’t out yet, and he was always extremely nice to her; when she came out, he immediately changed the pronouns he used, and she was immensely grateful for it. When he came out as a trans guy, she wanted to hug him and protect him from all harm that could ever come to him. She saw Soichiro and Sachiko as parent figures, Sayu as a little sister and Light as something of an ideal- someone she respected a lot. Soichiro and Sachiko are, in fact, FAR less accepting of Light being trans than they were of Matsuda- they have a kind of “not in my house” train of thought- but she never learns about it and Light is very good at pretending everything is alright, so she has a very over-idealized view of the whole family. She had a bit of a crush on him during the second arc, but never allowed those feelings to develop out of respect for Misa. She’s very disappointed when he starts cheating on her with Takada, but she still can’t let go of her affection for him, and is adamant that, even if he might not be as perfectly nice as she initially thought, there’s no way he could be KIRA. She asks L to teach her capoeira at one point, something he gladly does. He mentions one day that the person who thought him the fighting style was a woman named Naomi Misora, and Matsuda asks him about her. He tells her everything about her, including the fact that she was probably murdered by Kira. Matsuda cried herself to sleep that night, thinking about that brave, smart, caring, capable woman whose life ended so suddenly. She felt guilty about all the times when she wondered if Kira might not have his heart on the right place, even tho she rationally knew it wasn’t her fault. That was the point when Matsuda decided that she would never back down on the fight against Kira’s reign, no matter how dangerous it might become. Also she ends up married to Lidner.

K but for the genderfluid Matsuda thing I like tho think that they'd present mostly in a typically feminine way but go by they/them and just overall be a goddamn cutie pie
Also I'm 1000000000% for Matsu growin’ out their hair and being hella pretty and Naomi or Misa helping the good bab find clothes in the women's section that fit properly who's with me
