PORCELAIN MOUSE PARTIAL FURSUIT

Yo, most of this blog is running on a queue in approximate order of when the piece was made, but this post is going to be out of order!!!

I'm going to be facing some pretty steep dental bills within the next few months. It's not an emergency, so don't worry! But I will need to sell this fursuit for at least 1600 in order to cover the first procedure.

EDIT: IT WILL NO LONGER BE THIS MUCH! Thank god, I got a referral to a cheaper place, and the estimate for my root canal is now between $100-500 (big range, but I won't know until the date of the actual procedure). However, I just lost $400 in savings on this year's backlog of therapy copay bills, so I still need this suit to sell soon. I've lowered the price to $900 as it didn't sell for the original $1500.

TOOTH UPDATE!!!! I have the face and the back of the head sewn! Not sure how exactly I'm going to tackle the ears, gotta decide if I want to glue on the inner ear minky and then put the fur over top of it? Or sew the minky into the rest of the ear and put it all on together? hhh youtube tutorials save my ass

I'm planning on doing 2D toony eyes once I get all the fur glued down and the neck done and everything :]

I got my eye blanks on Monday and they look great!!! Who knew things look less weird without empty pits for eyes. Here are the eye blanks I purchased. (hyperfixation infodump below the cut)

I have bought the eye mesh and it'll probably arrive in the next week or two. I have decided to go with the sponge and acrylic paint method of coloring them as I already have the right colors of paint and I have plenty of leftover foam to use as a sponge. Along with the eye blanks, I also bought a "Chirp!" keychain from the same store. It wasn't custom or anything, they just have keychains of animal noises (woof, meow, squeak, etc.) and I thought it was funny so I got one. Anyways, the mesh I got is white on one side and black on the other, so it'll be easy to paint and I won't have to paint one side black myself. I haven't been able to buy the fur yet, I'm hoping I'll be able to soon so I can make the hand paws and pattern the head. Overall, I want to get the head, hand paws, and tail done by October so I don't have to rush to get it done for Halloween.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Cosplay WIP

So I need to get a new hot glue gun ironically because of my rabbit Luna loving the spicy hay aka power cords, I left it down and she decided to end its existence, but the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cosplay madness has begun.

I have entered him into a cosplay contest in May. I'm creating a half fursuit right now, I really love how the bottom of the feet paws have come out.

I now am working on the padding for the tights to create the shape of the legs until I get my new glue gun smh

Once the glue gun is acquired then I can tack things down sew them into place and get the whole thing covered in fur
