This is the MPPSC exams are highly competitive and little difficult to crack. Taking this into consideration, we have shared below a thorough preparation strategy to enable MPPSC aspirants crack the MPPSC exams with high marks.
First, get to know the MPPSC exams syllabus and the MPPSC exam pattern. This is because every exam consists of many things like MPPSC exam syllabus, preparation time, sectional cutoffs, etc. Candidates must gear up their State level exam preparation and be aware of the different topics from the syllabus. The MPPSC exam paper may have questions from any section or topic of the syllabus. Hence, candidates should be well prepared to attempt a variety of exam questions. The key to excelling in Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission exams is to practise and more practise.
1. Focus on Accuracy:
The main target for the candidates should be on achieving high accuracy. In the MPPSC exam, there is no negative marking and a need to attain the qualifying paper to pass the exam. In such scenario, candidates cannot depend upon random selection of answers or choosing the odd one out; this might end up in fetching you a wrong answering and thus losing the prospective scores. So, try to attain accuracy by practicing more.
2. Time Management:
The MPPSC exam is about time management and command over speed. Candidates are required to attempt as many questions as possible in the given time frame. Candidates should focus on managing time while attempting the mock tests online. Try not to give over one minute to a particular question. The famous quote 'Time and tide waits for none' aptly applies to the MPPSC examinations. So, work on time management and try to gain good command over your speed in answering the questions.
3. Practice Mock Tests & Previous Years' Papers:

Why one should have a MPPSC revision plan to crack their state service examination.
MPPSC 2021 Revision Plan - Revision is the most important part of exam preparation including the MPPSC. Students who are preparing for the MPPSC 2021 exam must have a strategic plan for revision to get the most out of the topics which have been studied. MPPSC syllabus is vast. To complete the MPPSC exam revision for all the subjects, candidates must have a revision plan. As per the previous year MPPSC toppers, teachers and experts from Sharma Academy MPPSC Coaching, students must revise the topic on a daily basis before going to sleep or first thing in the morning before starting any new topic. Also, Sunday or any other holiday must be devoted to revision of the important topics. Another most important part of MPPSC revision plan is to solve chapter-wise mock tests and full subject mock tests. Chapter wise mock test after studying and revising the chapter and full subject mock test after completing the whole syllabus. Students are also advised to regularly practice the MPPSC mock tests as and when the chapter is completed. This will help them in evaluating their preparation level, strong and weak points, mistakes they are making, time taken for solving the questions and much more.
MPPSC Prelims Revision Plan - Points to Look
Students must note that an effective revision plan for MPPSC must have proper time for all the subjects. Also, the revision plan must be such that every topic you study gets revised on a daily basis by the end of the day. Students who are dedicated and determined know how to crack MPPSC and know the importance of revision. If the topics are not revised, it could be difficult to recall it at the time of exam and if it happens, it would be very difficult to score good marks in exam. Students can also study with MPPSC Time Table if not able to manage the timing of study. Students are provided below some important points to look for while making a MPPSC revision plan.
Spend at least one hour for revision daily of all the topics which you study throughout the day.
Best time to revise is before going to sleep or in the morning before beginning the new topic
Holiday or Sunday must be a full revision day. Revise all the important topics, formulas, short tricks on holiday
Take mock tests after completing a chapter to know the preparation level
CONFIDENCE comes with CONSISTENCY – Consistency in studying, revising, practicing tests, analysing and improving.
First of all, do not get confused by different people / toppers suggesting different books. To clear the prelims, you need about 55-80% marks. So different people have different approaches to get 60%. So, choose a source and stick to it, no matter what.
Do not store 5 different MPPSC coaching institutes and collect their mppsc notes and study material. It will not make you intelligent, it will confuse you. And even if you learn something extra from a different source, analyse the cost-benefit scenario of that additional knowledge.
For some extra "edge" over others, you spend a lot of your time, costing time more because you need to revive everything.
When you start preparing, you take it slow, you look at each concept carefully, but remember that you need to plan your study in such a way that you not only do the course well Complete, but also give you at least five revisions. Everything. Have studied.
If you make a good plan you can give a lot of revisions and you can limit your sources to some standard and comprehensive books.
If you want to become a district collector, do not become a book collector. As I mentioned above there are many modifications to the key to crack prelims.
Multiple revisions are possible only when you limit your sources. As you can see in the sources I mentioned, I have suggested one or two sources for only one subject. Therefore, you should avoid buying many books on one subject.
For any query feel free to ask from our MPPSC Coaching in Indore experts by commenting below. Be in touch for your preparation and all the best.

Last month tips for MPPSC Prelims
Syllabus Assessment
Syllabus is the first move you need to put your first step upon. Without proper analyzation of syllabus, a candidate will not be able to study smartly and there is a chance of time decay over those topics which are not so important literally. Syllabus acts as a reflector for your preparation to any examination.
Stress on high weightage topics
The first preference of any candidate should be the topics which have high weightage as it will increase the ranking by increasing your marks. There is not much time left for MPPSC 2021 so you need to be smart in your choice of topics during revision as you can’t study whole of the syllabus or books. The syllabus for MPPSC is like an ocean and you can access a glass only.
Pick up the standard study material
Standard books contain calibre concepts and theories with effective language and easy tips and tricks which clarify the concepts and build up the interest of students towards any topic. The expertise online lectures or some mppsc notes & study material helps you to prepare in more effective way and clearing the doubts.
Follow time table with punctuality
Punctuality binds us with our dream or goal. If you are punctual, it shows your dedication towards your objective. A candidate needs to follow the time table honestly otherwise there will be no consistency in the preparation and you lag those candidates who are working hard day and night with honesty and zeal.
Prepare self-notes while studying
Self-notes are easy to understand as they are written by you as per your needs and demands. You can even make your own short tricks which helps you to remember things and memorize during the examination. Notes also saves the time during revision at last minute or last day. You should not opt for detailed books while just few days left for main examination, it will take lot of your time reading a single topic.
Special emphasis on weaker sections
Make your weakness your strength is correct way to boost your preparation. More emphasis should be laid on the weaker sections only if you have enough time but if you have only 10-15 days left with you then you must prepare or revise only those topics which you know well.
Give Mock tests and quizzes
Giving proper mock tests makes your preparation more qualitative and make you quite familiar with the trend of exam and updated pattern. It also helps you analyze how well you are prepared for the upcoming exam and weak points and strengths. But avoid giving mock test during the last days preparation as it will create pressure on your mind and may demoralize you if you unable to obtain good enough marks. The level and pattern of mock test and main exam may be distinct.
Be consistent in study
Consistency is the rarest of all human qualities. It happens with most of the students, they forget those things which they knew well just before the examination. To avoid such type of silly mistakes, a candidate must revise the topics consistently or even daily before going to the bed what they read in the whole day. This ensures long term memorization.
Keep positive mindset
Positive mindset is compulsory for every challenge and test of life. It makes you self-confident and encourages you to become successful. Only you are the shaper of your destiny, you can achieve everything what you are craving for. Be positive and keep trust on your abilities. Don’t set limits for your achievements, there is lot to achieve and a lot to elicit.
Have a healthy diet
Healthy diet keep yourself healthy and a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. Maintain your health before your exams otherwise all your preparation, hard-work and perseverance will go in vain.
Take enough breaks
Take proper breaks and keep yourself cheering to avoid monotony. It will energize the mind and soul and motivate you to achieve something great that you really deserve.
