The arrival of Imam Husayn (ʿa)’s caravan in Karbala 🥀🕊 On Muharram 2nd 61 Ah. Imam Husayn (ʿa) and his companions arrived in Karbala; this was the starting point for the heroic resistance of the Imam against injustice and tyranny which culminated in the epic event of Ashura. The adversities of the Ahl-al-Bayt (ʿa) started on Muharram 2nd and they intensified day by day until the day of Ashura. ʿUbaydullah ibn Ziad learns about Imam Husayn (ʿa)’s arrival in Karbala After Imam Husayn (ʿa) and his companions stopped in Karbala Ḥurr who had been ordered to follow the Imam (ʿa) with one thousand horsemen, also made camp in a nearby region in front of Imam Husayn (ʿa) and his companions’ camp. He then wrote a letter to ʿUbaydullah ibn Ziad to inform him of the Imam’s arrival in Karbala. The Letter of ʿUbaydullah ibn Ziad to Imam Husayn (ʿa) on Muharram 2nd After learning about Imam Husayn (ʿa)’s arrival in Karbala, Ibn Ziad wrote a letter to the Imam which read as follows: “O’ Husayn! I was given the news of your arrival in Karbala. Amirulmu’minin Yazid has sent me a directive ordering me not to rest until I have killed you and j o i n you with Allah the Ever Attentive the Ever Aware or until you submit to my command and that of Yazid ibn Muʿāwiyah!” Imam Husayn (ʿa)’s crushing response to Ibn Ziad When Imam Husayn (ʿa) read this letter, he threw it away and said: “لا أَفْلَحَ قَوْمٌ آثَرُوا مَرْضاةَ أَنْفُسِهِمْ عَ��ى مَرْضاةِ الْخالِقِ” “Those who choose their own pleasure over that of Allah will never prosper!” When ʿUbaydullah’s messenger asked the Imam for his answer to the letter, Imam Husayn (ʿa) said: “This letter does not need any response, for ʿUbaydullah has become deserving of Divine penalty!” When the messenger went back to his master and told him what he had heard, ʿUbaydullah blew up with rage [but he had nothing to say in return]. #Karbala #Imamhussain #Islam #shia #labaikyahussain #muharram #muharram2020 https://www.instagram.com/p/CELuNOgsrDj/?igshid=1k0jlc4hwax75

चैतन्य भारत न्यूज मुहर्रम इस्‍लामी महीना है और इससे इस्‍लाम धर्म के नए साल की शुरुआत होती है। इस साल 29 अगस्त से मुहर्रम की शुरूआत हो रही है। कहा जाता है मुहर्रम महीने की 10 तारीख को इमाम हुसैन की शहादत हुई थी, जिसके चलते इस दिन को रोज-ए-आशुरा भी कहते हैं। मुहर्रम का यह सबसे अहम दिन माना गया है। इस दिन जुलूस निकालकर हुसैन की शहादत को याद किया जाता है। तो आइए जानते हैं कैसे हुई मुहर्रम की शुरुआत और इसका महत्व। (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

मुहर्रम की शुरुआत मुहर्रम मातम मनाने और धर्म की रक्षा करने वाले हजरत इमाम हुसैन की शहादत को याद करने का दिन है। मुहर्रम के महीने में मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोग शोक मनाते हैं और अपनी हर खुशी का त्‍याग कर देते हैं। कहा जाता है कि बादशाह यजीद ने अपनी सत्ता कायम करने के लिए हुसैन और उनके परिवार वालों पर जुल्‍म किया और उन्‍हें बेदर्दी से मौत के घाट उतार दिया। हुसैन का मकसद खुद को मिटाकर भी इस्‍लाम जिंदा रखना था। इसके बाद यह धर्म युद्ध इतिहास के पन्‍नों पर हमेशा-हमेशा के लिए दर्ज हो गया।
