Just a few minutes before my first prenatal appointment. I was waiting in the car waiting for my husband who had gone to check if there was a long waiting time. Little did I know that after that day my life would never be the same again. I was carrying a new life inside of me and how much it was going to change my life, especially after his arrival. Looking at this picture all the memories come rushing back. How things changed, I changed. My body changed. The perception of love changed. The last 3 years have been a learning experience of a lifetime and the most enriching. Even words would not be enough to describe how meaningful my life feels to me now. Both of my pregnancies have been special. Not so difficult when I think about symptoms. I know a lot of women who were in tremendous pain throughout their 3 trimesters. For me it was more of a mental and emotional challenge. Especially, when there was a toddler running around and I felt nauseous and moody all the time. Some people turned out to unexpectedly helpful, some just changed or maybe they were like that already and I made the wrong assumptions earlier. But I learnt to be independent, I learnt to be strong. I got two beautiful kids who make me a proud mom already.
