Had a somewhat impromptu mini hiatus for much of this past month, and so I'm further behind on things than I'd like to be, but beginning to get caught up. Your patience is appreciated!

For those who missed it: I kept having issues with Wire, so I’ve switched to Discord for IC messages outside tumblr. I can get the alerts on my phone, so really it’s the same difference as a way of doing IC texts. My name is Tix (they/them, occasionally it/its), and welcome to my rotomblr blog! I'm 23, I'm from Unova and i have a small café on Route 3 right outside Striaton City. If you don't find it, just look for the Daycare on the hill, walk up that hill and look for the building at the foot of the hill! And now come in and get a cupcake, you earned it!

Don't be alarmed by the poison types around here! Most of them are registered to me and are completely harmless unless you touch them. They are also friendly, so if you wanna pet them, ask me! I'll gladly provide handling advice.

ZERO: don't be a dick. easy, right? right. This is the important part :)

First: blanket #unreality warning. I will tag posts usually as pokemon irl, #pkmn irl or #pokeblogging. The actual unreality tag is reserved that genuinely blends reality and fiction (such as talking about animals in the context of the pokemon world.)

Second: i went on a BIG hiatus for like 6 months. I've retconned a few things, but i didn't want to actually go through the blog and delete stuff. Instead, i tagged all old posts as #Koffing-Time-1.0. Everything with this tag is not neccesarily canon anymore. case-to-case basis i guess.

Third: If anything comes up, I'll try to put a warning tag. I'll keep it to one format: #cw [trigger]. I will probably still use them sparingly, since i'm personally okay with most things. Please tell me if i should tag something.

Fourth: I won't participate in high stakes a lot and probably never in ultra stakes. Everything will be appropriately tagged #high stakes pokereality on the off chance that i do join. I don't think i will be getting into details like "low stakes" and "medium stakes" for tagging.

Fifth: Regarding sentient/sapient pokémon: they are allowed. I might ignore them if i ever do any story-arcs or so, but go ahead! (this was different for 1.0)

Sixth: Ask games will be tagged with #ask game. Once i reblog them, they are open indefinitely, including old ones from #Koffing-Time-1.0. The tag will be for the initial meme only, not the answers to make it possible to find them. Generally, please put the question for the meme into your ask, especially if it's an older ask game. (Feel free to ask Brandy or Olivia as well, but if not specified it will be Tix answering)

JWEOGIJW i’m just kidding. i’ve been rping on and off since about 2012 and in short, the best / most stand out experiences i’ve had are always the people i’ve met in my time writing here who have been so, so amazing and keep me rping. i’m not sure if everyone is still active in the rpc but !! some of the lovelies include the following: 

@lxcuna  —  my partner in hot messes. takes the worst of my ideas and makes them even more horrible. helped me to learn how to find little bits of inspiration in my every day life. it sounds poetic but we really just have ten thousand characters and send each other new ways to be Hurt. has helped me with my chapbook ( shameless self promo, sorry - & while i’m at it, check out her stuff ) and we mIGHT have a project coming up by the end of the year if we can help it 👀👀

6. What are your thoughts on the current roleplay trends on here right now?

Well, if I can remember any at the top of my head, since I have the worst memory in the universe - one trend I can think about is people making in character Tumblr blogs for their muses! Like, still a roleplay blog, but it’s formatted to be a blog that your muse would use, like a normal Tumblr blog? It’s something really cute that I’m interested in, but I have a lot of muses, and I have enough to focus on you know?

7. What is the one trend you miss the most that’s no longer popular or seen as much as it was before?

Still can’t remember, but maybe naming trends? I know “n-ame” used to be a big thing, and I used it all on my roleplay accounts back in the day on DeviantART. Using other letters to substitute letters is still a thing, like using Cs to sub for Os or Es. Also, using lowercase Ls to substitute for uppercase Is. Xs were also used a lot, for various of letters. this is the one thing i remember wow It’s still a thing, thankfully! Not as much as it used to be when I was in my prime, though. Or am I in my prime, now? nah before my year hiatus, i was coping hard on my pirate account kndflkjdgf real proud of my productivity actually!

8. Are there other websites you roleplay on that’s not on Tumblr?

Well, currently? The only other place that would be is Discord, but since I’ve been invited to Pillowfort, maybe I’d be willing to roleplay there since it’s a more secure, but more free Tumblr? Though, my roleplaying on Discord takes lower priority than my Tumblr one does, I will admit.

9. How long have you been roleplaying?

I mentioned this in the rules and my old promo that I need to redo, but roughly eight years! I can’t believe it’s been that long, actually. And that’s something I still do to this day? I did it a lot in 2012-2016, but I started to take a real break in 2016-2018, even slowing down with the one roleplay I’ve been continuing for almost five years with one of my close friends? Roleplaying is a big thing to me, and something really close to my heart! I get to explore a lot of things, and be more vulnerable, you know? Experiment more, have more fun! I don’t know what I’d do without it, actually!

Rules

-I only RP with RP blogs. (I shouldn’t have to have this here, but i’ve had a problem before soo). Rp blogs must have a rules page and a bio, this goes for both Canon and OC. If you are a canon muse without a bio page, I will treat your muse exactly as canon.

-No Godmodding. Want to hurt/kill my muse? Plot it with me. (also standard rule)

-No Force Shipping.

-I do love to ship though. I ship with chemistry however it is very likely that i will ship it. Just come talk to me if you do too. I’ll be happy. Honestly, I’ve noticed i do lean towards these threads as well. But I am open to all ships (platonic, familial, enemies).

-OCs: MUST HAVE A BIO. It must be easy to find. This is non-negotiable. I need to be able to learn about your muse even if my muse knows nothing, and I shouldn’t have to ask you their life story. Also, do NOT send a shippy meme to start. Chemistry is a must. I’m not against shipping with OCs, but I am against being forced into it. And I’ll be honest, I’m a little hesitant about OCs because of a really awful exerpience, so please have some patience. I don’t want to turn you away immediately though (unless you don’t follow my rules). I just might not follow you back immediately or for a while.

-I’m not picky on grammar, mostly because I know i’m far from perfect. It just has to be good enough to read. And if I have questions (or a correction on if you replied something that shouldn’t have been) i expect you to be cool about it and be open to fixing it.

-I’m picky about following, however I’m not mutuals only. So if I don’t follow you back immediately, still feel free to interact. I’ve just followed back too many people where we never end up interacting. I don’t want people on my dash that I’m not interacting with (unless i followed them and am being too shy to interact)

-I usually only unfollow for the following reasons: 1+ month of inactivity without a hiatus announcement, too much drama, or mostly ooc stuff with very little RPing,. Or if we never interact.

-I’m awful at plotting, mostly struggling to get things started. But I’m all in when I do plot. But I request that if you don’t want to do the plot, you tell me. So I don’t get invested only to see you never want to do to. And if we plot, we keep it going. I get invested in plotted threads, and I hate seeing them die less than a week later. (Obviously if muse is lacking I understand, I just have started so many things that then never get replied to and it makes me sad.

-Please…absolutely NO “bumping into on the streets”. Who seriously has a long conversation or more with someone they bump into on the street? It’s not condusive. Also, I’ve had 90% of OCs approach me with this idea. And it’s just tired.

-Please do NOT message me any form of the message “Do you want to rp?” I am an rp blog. Yes, i want to rp. The overall phrase just makes me feel uncomfortable. I’d much rather something like “hey, i have this idea what do you think?” or even “Hey would be up for exploring this potential dynamic between our characters?” Or go “hey i saw your post about wanting this kind of plot and i’d be down for that”

-I don’t care how you continue an ask. Reblog is directly, make a new post, honestly I don’t care. If you want to continue it, feel free to.

@ragingicarus : Bae might be on hiatus but YOU CANT HIDE FROM MY LOVE SAMANTHA. Sammie is such a talented and committed writer. Her love for her characters absolutely BEAMS through, and it makes them that much more lovable to both a ship partner and a mun. I never thought I would ship Murphy and Peter but here we are. I love how Sammie doesn’t compromise his rough edges for anything. She owns his flaws and uses them to propel stories without making them the center of the stories. Its such raw talent. Sammie herself is also just cute as hell and a  huge gem of a person. She’s a treasure and everyone is lucky to have her in their lives. 

@prcphesiied: Tiger is such a strong willed person, while still being so  kind and so warm and I adore them for that. The kind of person who sends hand drawn christmas cards to friends around the globe just for t he sake of making people smile, I mean COME ON, how cute are you?? I love the way that Harry is portrayed as Harry. Stripped down to the nitty gritty, all details aside. Gender, race, sexuality, ethnicity, all aside, Tigers portrayal is ALL about personality, and I think that’s so incredibly rare, and yet so incredibly cool. The acknowledgment of trauma and the REAL effects that it has on kids is very raw and hard to touch on and yet done in a  way that makes it feel natural to explore.

@dyelast: In this house we stan the fuck out of faith. She’s got such a grip on Murphy that’s DIFFERENT from other Murphys but also so good? She  is able to explore much softer and more emotional sides of him without compromising who he is or what he’s done and I love that. We did some threads a  while ago that really dug into some of Murphy’s darker moments, and the inner monologue of a scared, freaked out teen, out SUCH an awesome and different light on the “bad” things he did. Also, Faith is a SOLID listening ear and really just the best person to rant to. 

@circellondon // Britt and I have been friends so long at this point. Honestly, get friends like Britt you guys. Friends who write heartbreak with you, softness, anger, everything. I swear at this point, Britt an I have touched on every emotion on scale and our ships are so deep and complex and i love it. Out of 3?? I think, major ships that we have, meaning well developed or worked on ones, none of the three are simple. They are so twisted, complex, emotional, and because of that, we never run out of different ways to explore them.

Oof this is kinda touchy I suppose.

I mean, it’s almost 5 years I’ve had this blog i think? Or is it 4. Something like that. So I’ve been around the block a few times. And honestly, I’ve seen a lot of shit. Commented on a lot of shit, but I do mostly try to keep things civil, and if I see a situation rising involving me, I will do my best to disengage.

But I truly can name a few. But I’m not sure if my worst experience is something I want to explain in full detail due to the fact the person is known for starting shit. All I’ll really say is, they tried to play me like a fiddle with their fake kindness, and the somewhat did. Because of that, they did not like me and they ended up ruining a friendship I had with their girlfriend.

Another would be this god awful, controlling, toxic Madara. Those who have been around a while might remember this. But they had left the fandom for quite sometime, returned, and tried starting fresh. Despite leaving all the harassment they did on their blog and refusing to delete it. Luckily my encounter with them was rather tame. They came into my IM and asked if I would like to roleplay. Immediately they had asked if we could smut, which at the time was against my rules. (Still is but it is very close to changing.) And prior to following me, i had answered and ask explaining that I do not write smut. This meant that they completely ignored everything about my blog, just saw I was a Konan and immediately went for the opportunity. They were a cyber sex rp'er which is very concerning because that pretty much means they did not separate ic and ooc. Luckily. They did not snap at me when i turned down the suggestion, but they had gone and pressured many other muns to rp smut. They were condescending. Another friend of mine who rp’d Konan and who was on indefinite hiatus, was harassed by them to rp. And when she had explained she was on hiatus. They insisted that she needed their help to come off hiatus. Later I found out, it was not just me and Konan, but numerous other female muses. They got angry when others refused to smut, especially when that muse was smutting with another. They used guilt trippy tactics. And often played for pity points and made manipulative comments.

Either way. They ran away from their madara and made a sasuke. Pretending to be completely new to the fandom. But you see. I’m not an idiot. And I stidied graphic design in college. And I noticed that their promo grpahics were done in the exact same style as the Madara. Their description was in the same exact format. They did nothing to hide their identity. They went about harassing other muns with Sasuke. So I called them out. They got mad. Told me to go rot and disappeared off of tumblr after arguing with people for a bit.

The best part of all that really was when everyone started IM'ing me. Thanking me for exposing them.

And like. Eh. Idk if that even counts as an rp experience.

There was also another blog. An Indra, who would camp on my blog for hours multiple times a day. Acted like we were friends despite not talking. Would get jealous that I would rp with a child nagato and not them. And they remade blogs to keep following me on. Eventually I had to chew them out for digging through months of Skype shit to find my skype name and send me a request. It was creepy. But as far as I know they're also gone.

Overall I think my worst experiences all kind of come under one main problem. Which is manipulation.

Idk. I think its rather hard to deal with situations like these. As much as drama sucks, its probably best to stick up for yourself and let others know where you stand. But it should always be done in a way that is not overtly aggressive. Violent. Disrespectful, or antagonizing. Be firm but be understanding. We need a sense of community around here. And I miss when it was like that.

Just be wary of people you’re getting to know. And don’t believe shit unless there is proof.

Guidelines and stuff

I have flexible rules, and by “flexible rules” I mean that I don’t really know what to put here, because I tend to trust more other’s common sense than written rules.

The main ones are no NSFW (I’m not very comfortable and, plus, smut requires quick replies, writing two weeks for a reply that’s just moving a member to another position kills the mood - NSFW is basically smut, while gore is NSFW, I don’t include on this rule, still I won’t do gore frequently), no godmodding (flexible - if you hurt (including deadly wounds) my character without my permission, depending on the circumstances I might (so it’s not 100% certainty) play along just to see what you’ll do), respect for grammar and formatting.

This blog is semi-selective, I usually follow back blogs that I RP with, but I don’t require people follow me. If you don’t answer my memes or ignore my messages, I’ll interpret that as you not being interest in interact with me and I will unfollow you. No follow/unfollow is set on stone, though.

But if you do have questions, don’t hesitate to PM me, my inbox and IM box are always open, even if you don’t follow me. Although I might look a bit forward when suggesting plots, I’m always open to take heed to what the other will say, especially in a fandom I’m not into, but still want to interact.

Usually I reblog promos even of fandoms I know nothing about. After all, reblogging is free. If I reblog your promo, and you follow me, I’ll follow you.

I’m ok with iconless RPs as well, sometimes I’m not feeling like putting icons (or when I’m on mobile), so I won’t, don’t feel pressured. As a matter of equivalence, if you choose an iconless RP, I also can make my replies iconless as well.

However, I have a single rule regarding icons, that needs to be put separatedly: I’m not comfortable with live-action icons. For example, I can RP fine with  a Tony Stark that uses icons from the cartoon or the anime (yes, there was an Ironman anime), but I’m not really comfortable with live-action icons, as much as I like Robert Downey Jr.’s acting. I can explain why I don’t feel comfortable privately, but If you want to RP with me with muses from live-action series, I’d like to request to not use live-action icons.

Mun =/= muse (but not that much, I must admit). I know my OCs are based on me and my experiences (for example, I’m an economics student, so I made Marcos an economics student because I think it could make him an interesting OC), but one reason why I’m into RPing is to develop them to become clearly their own characters, so that they become less and less my self-inserts and more like their own.

Continuing from the previous rule, if my muses do something obnoxious or idiotic, call them out on it. They’re characters with flaws, sometimes they need a good slap in the face. Do not assume that I’ll defend them, I’m the writer behind them and I want them to fail, to make mistakes, but if you do think I went too far, you’re free to call me out.

Shipping can happen, but why would happen? (In other words, it all depends on the development and chemistry). Although I enjoy writing romance, it all depends on how it’ll go. If you don’t want write romance, do not hesitate in telling me. Platonic relationships are underrated and, obviously, not all RPs have to end with the muses as friends, if you want our muses to become rivals or even mortal enemies, I’m all up for it. In addition to that, this blog is multishipping. I mean, it took me a while to put it here, but I thought it was self-evident. Still, each thread is usually its own separated verse (unless stated otherwise), so each can have its own shipping. Only Padparadscha and Rutile are exempt of this rule.

I’m too old for drama. I will unfollow you if you start throwing excessive drama.

Above all, RP is to have fun. Just tell me what you want to do and let’s do it! My OCs used to have verses, but I changed that, each thread is a verse, unless specified.

I send memes whenever they appear in my dash. I don’t care if I receive a few or none back (even if I would like), it’s costless and I end up giving more than I receive so that I don’t really mind not being paid back.

Since this is a multimuse blog, it’s okay to blacklist some tags, of muses or threads you’re not interested. Most everything here is tagged, so it shouldn’t be complicated.

I don’t do magical anons (M!As), my blog doesn’t receive enough attention to make them worthwhile.

Follow backs and softblocking: this one got so big it needs its own page; in summary, I’m not mutuals only and I can RP with people who I don’t follow and don’t follow me, but if you’re going to unfollow me, please softblock me.

Also I unfollow blogs who are inactive for a few months. This is something that can be reversed under request (like you returning from your hiatus).

Asks without context or that I’m unable to understand will be deleted on sight.

I will unfollow people who post too much politics. I deal with politics every day outside tumblr and I don’t want to deal with it here.

If we’re mutuals in one blog, we’re mutuals in all blogs. So, even if you make a blog and I didn’t follow you (yet), due to lack of familiarity or ideas to interact with, you can still send memes and even starters that chances are likely that, if it’s not a RP/personal hybrid, I’ll follow you.

I don’t RP with furry muses. I mean, I can RP with animal and animal-themed muses (like from Sonic), but I won’t RP with muses of the furry fandom. I also don’t RP with kin blogs.

Even though it’s a big list, it should be reminded that all (with exception of one or two) are basic common sense rules, so there shouldn’t be a problem.

HELLO! TODAY MARKS MY SIX-YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON THIS BLOG ( 6/1/2018 ) AND TO CELEBRATE HERE IS A FOLLOW FOREVER ( I haven't done this in a while so excuse the lame graphic ). [ OOC - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ ]

So as everyone is probably aware, I have not been active on this blog in a very, very long time. I had originally gone on hiatus, trying to come back several times, but to no avail. My muse for Ripley had been gone for a long time, alongwith life things that got in the way and, as of most recently, the loss of two of my grandparents within a month and a half of each other last week. I tried everything I could to try and return, but my muse for one of my most beloved and favorite characters was gone.

I didn’t try to push for the muse for Ripley to come back, and it was a very hard decision for me to make the call to myself to put her to rest indefinitely. However, I’ve been managing and pushing through and I’ve finally come to a decision about this blog.

I am going to archive this blog and remake my Ripley blog.

This way I still have all my resources from before, I can save the threads that I love to still look back on and read. But as of right now, this rp blog is archived.

I will make a post on here, and will reblogged a promo for my new Ripley blog once I get it up and running. I want to apologize to everyone who had been waiting for me to return on here. I desperately wanted to return, but unfortunately it just didn’t work out. But I’ll have a new blog up and running hopefully within the next few months.

A big thank you to everyone who has interacted with me on this blog, for making me feel so proud of my muse and my writing of Ripley. This isn’t goodbye; I’ll see you all soon.

Hello, My name is Lily. I’m over 21. I’m from the US, in MST time zone. I’m pretty laid back, honestly. I have these to make things go smoothly, and it is greatly appreciated when you read and follow my rules. I try to keep them straightforward and simple.

Obviously the character is not mine. And with the exception of one reversed gif (so also not entirely mine) neither are the icons I use (if I use them. It’s rare anymore).

Rules

-Please include your muse’s thoughts and/or emotions. Because Queenie is a legilimens she can and will read your muse unless it is clearly stated in their bio that they are practiced occlumens. This will make it easier to write with Queenie and open up some other interactions. This is not godmodding at all. It is canon that we see it. And it's really limiting when people don't include these details.

-Queenie’s legilimency is also a secret. Unless your muse is one of the canon muses that knows (the main 4), then you do not know about her ability, and acting as such will be treated as godmodding. 

This includes post COG. I headcanon Queenie convincing Grindelwald that her ability is best kept a secret as she can seek out any spies, or potential traitors. When it comes to post COG, she keeps this a secret (see this post). So unless you are one of the main four, Grindelwald, and i’ve assumed Abernathy and Vinda, your muse, acolyte or not, will not know.

-I only RP with RP blogs. (I shouldn’t have to have this here, but i’ve had a problem before soo). Rp blogs must have a rules page and a bio, this goes for both Canon and OC. If you are a canon muse without a bio page, I will treat your muse exactly as canon. 

-No Godmodding. Want to hurt/kill my muse? Plot it with me. (also standard rule)

-No Force Shipping.

-I do love to ship though. I ship with chemistry however it is very likely that i will ship it. Just come talk to me if you do too. I’ll be happy. Honestly, I’ve noticed i do lean towards these threads as well. But I am open to all ships (platonic, familial, enemies).

-OCs: MUST HAVE A BIO. It must be easy to find. This is non-negotiable. I need to be able to learn about your muse even if my muse knows nothing, and I shouldn’t have to ask you their life story. Also, do NOT send a shippy meme to start. Chemistry is a must. I’m not against shipping with OCs, but I am against being forced into it. And I’ll be honest, I’m a little hesitant about OCs because of a really awful exerpience, (linked here just to explain how awful it was) so please have some patience. I don’t want to turn you away immediately though (unless you don’t follow my rules). I just might not follow you back immediately or for a while.

-I’m not picky on grammar, mostly because I know i’m far from perfect. It just has to be good enough to read. And if I have questions (or a correction on if you replied something that shouldn’t have been) i expect you to be cool about it and be open to fixing it. 

-I’m picky about following, however I am not mutuals only. So if I don’t follow you back immediately, still feel free to interact. I’ve just followed back too many people where we never end up interacting. I don’t want people on my dash that I’m not interacting with (unless i followed them and am being too shy to interact)

-I usually only unfollow for the following reasons: 1+ month of inactivity without a hiatus announcement, too much drama, or mostly ooc stuff with very little RPing,. Or if we never interact.

-I’m awful at plotting, mostly struggling to get things started. But I’m all in when I do plot. But I request that if you don’t want to do the plot, you tell me. So I don’t get invested only to see you never want to do to. And if we plot, we keep it going. I get invested in plotted threads, and I hate seeing them die less than a week later. (Obviously if muse is lacking I understand, I just have started so many things that then never get replied to and it makes me sad.

-Please…absolutely NO “bumping into on the streets”. Who seriously has a long conversation or more with someone they bump into on the street? It’s not condusive. Also, I’ve had 90% of OCs approach me with this idea. And it’s just tired.

-Please do NOT message me any form of the message “Do you want to rp?” I am an rp blog. Yes, i want to rp. The overall phrase just makes me feel uncomfortable. I’d much rather something like “hey, i have this idea what do you think?”

-I don’t care how you continue an ask. Reblog is directly, make a new post, honestly I don’t care. If you want to continue it, feel free to.

-NSFW will be present on this blog. Smut and violence alike because I’m not picky. Triggers are tagged “*trigger* tw” and my only trigger is Cancer/Terminal Illness. I will not plot these, or write these.

-No anon hate. You will be blocked on site.

-I am okay with crossovers. Just message me and I’ll see about the fandom.

-Reblog Karma: I know a lot of people think this is bullshit. And I do not expect you to send me a meme every time you reblog from me. If we interact regularly a fewthere and there are fine because I understand not every meme is perfect for every muse combo. But I am not your meme source and I will block after 3 repeated offenses with absolutely no attempts at interaction otherwise. 

However, there is no reason to not send in headcanon or mun memes. So do not reblog those from me if you have no intention of sending them. Reblog from the source. It isn’t forced interaction and we all want to answer the headcanon memes, and I try to send them into those who reblog them and sent them in when I can.

-Please send a picture or gif of a red panda, because they are cute. And I like red pandas and they make me happy. It also helps show me that you have read these rules.
