ONE YEAR OF KUINA~!

It’s been a little quiet around here BUT I can’t believe it’s been a YEAR since I started roleplaying as Kuina and made my account! I’m actually ridiculously emotional about it. When I started writing on here I never dreamed I’d make it a year, let alone be as in love with her as I am now which is even more like I’m obsessed with her. She’s easily become one of (if not number one!) my favorite characters I’ve ever roleplayed as.

To those who have roleplayed with me be it through threads, submitted asks/prompts/general shenanigans, followed, or even just lurked… past, present, or future, Kuina and I just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts and souls. You all are what make my warrior queen thrive and I so appreciate you taking the time out of your day to interact with us ✨

I’m talking myself out of getting a blue butterfly tattoo at some point this year. I mean to be fair I’ve always wanted a butterfly tattoo but oooof if I haven’t been looking specifically at blue butterfly ideas. Maybe. Maybe! We’ll see.

AHHH all of this tripled and aimed right back at YOU 😍 My literal ride or die, words can’t even describe how elated it makes me when I see a reply from you. I adore adore adore your writing and portrayals, they’re so effortless in everything you write. Not only do you get all of your muses spot on, but you add your own spin to them with headcanons that are so in tune to the character leaving me to wonder HOW YOU DO IT, YOU’RE SO CREATIVE. Plus the chemistry our characters automatically always seem to have together? Chefs kiss. With well over 40+ threads by now (I think LMAO) every single one of them hold a special place in my heart, leaving me wanting more and more whether they’re on Discord or Tumblr. You’re such a talented writer, and a joy to talk to out of character as well. All of our little drabbles in between threads make my day that little bit better. DASH GAME: BEHIND THE MUN

NAME: Reina

PRONOUNS: She/Her

MOST ACTIVE MUSES: Levi Ackerman and Todoroki Shoto, which is why they have their own blogs. But I love all my muses and I feel so bad I don't have the brainpower for everyone.

EXPERIENCE: I've started writing on tumblr somewhere around 2017? Someone from a supernatural fan group suggested we'd all write someone and suggested I'd write Castiel. It wasn't roleplaying back then, just some crappy one-liners between teens. Between 2017-2020 I'd only write Castiel in a rpc I don't recall with the best of memories (most writers were smut focused). The real fun for me started when I started meeting writers I truly enjoyed writing with and started writing more muses, which was in 2020 when I added Shoto, and slowly making a multi and opening up to more fandoms.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT: Angst lives in my mind rent free, causing suffering to my characters is a second nature to me, but I always enjoy some good fluff all the same. Smut is rare and usually is some novella thread that'll need weeks/months to respond but I truly enjoy it when it happens (stares at Levi and Laura, my only active smut thread).

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: I usually respond with 3-5 paragraphs, but I won't lie, I'm dying for longer responses. The more I read of someone's response the more I'm satisfied because the most fun in roleplaying for me is, well, reading. The thing is, I get intimidated when it's my turn to respond and despair but somehow I always manage to exceed word count (if I don't write a longer response, I don't post it, it's silly, but when I already feel like I am lacking as a writer in some ways, I HAVE to at least write something longer). Oof. That got long.

PET PEEVES: Tumblr when you paste a response makes the letters bigger at the end of the line/paragraph. Notion being slower on my tablet so I can't use it for the draft of my responses even if it's my favorite app to write. I get pissed off easily. I shall shut it.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE: I always tend to share some characteristic with my muses, and that's also why writing so joyful, because it has helped me work on matters that concern me without directly intending to, in terms of both understanding myself and the world. Either it is family bonds, obsessions, their desires and fears, how they see their self, etc. I somewhere will see myself in writing. Kana Arima is the most like me, but I do share characteristics with Levi, or Shoto and many others. We're multidimensional beings, belong in many fictional worlds.

TIME TO WRITE: My best time to write on my days off is between 2am-7am. I am an late-nighter. For days I work. . . I don't write much. And I wanna change that, because I used to write ANYWHERE, despite the lack of time.

allie's moving to @enchaentd! i've had this blog for three years <3 and it is the longest i've ever kept a single blog active for. at this point, i feel completely overwhelmed here, with drafts, likes, inbox count, post count, and followers despite clearing them out quite a few times across the years. i really hate dropping things, and i feel like i have done so much more progression here and character building with allie, that i hate to move myself over. my stuff is here >:/ and it's true that i could move things over, but part of the reason i'm moving is just the clutter of everything. i'd like to keep a sideblog of rbs of hcs, threads, or other posts that i want to keep a little easier than just searching up things here. i have no intention of deleting this blog, you will never ever catch me doing that. also, my tags have been broken for, i think, almost one year, so i'm excited to be able to get to use some that work. (also, the new url helps with a new vibe. i've never been completely in love with this one.) i am dropping a lot of threads and memes. it is very, very likely that i have dropped ours, (i kept about 10 threads, and memes that i had plans to respond to privately or involved making edits) and i'm truly am sorry for it. i always want to start new things, and i plan to post a permanent starter/plotting call on my new blog soon to be able to get those new things going. whether or not i dropped a thread has no reflection on how i feel about our dynamics or even our relationship as friends/muns, it was very ruthless marie kondo style decision making, so i did not feel overwhelmed and could write something. like i said, i want to start new things!!! it's also likely that i won't be following first, as per usual with new blogs, but please feel free to follow me there! if we're mutuals, i want to keep/start writing with you! 💖💖💖💖💕💕✨✨💕💕💖💖

Surprisingly, I like the sound of my own voice— I know most people don’t like theirs, but I’ve always liked my tonal quality and ability to mimic other voices I hear. It gives me hope to one day become a voice actor.

I like my ability to make friends everywhere I go. Perks of moving around all my life and having to adapt to new locations and new people.

I like that I’m someone people can naturally open up to. I’m not sure what about me specifically makes people comfortable enough to talk to me about anything right away (honestly at times it’s a random deep fact about themselves and they’re like idk why I just told you all that), but I’m glad they have me if needed.

roleplayer name: chuckles roleplayer pronouns: she/her muse name: too many to type

preferred communication: i prefer to keep quick plotting discussions or other simple messages limited to tumblr IMs, and move to dis.cord when plotting more extensive things or talking about ships.

experience: i've been here since december of 2012 so my experience is annoyingly extensive and pathetically ancient. i remember dashcon firsthand and i remember the mischapocalypse. i remember the first self promo.

preferred roleplay type: i prefer starters that come from ask memes to give me something to work with, minimal plotting at first, and gradually exploring character dynamics until a tangible connection is made. then i love to plot deeper after that. i'm more of a throw caution to the wind, see what happens roleplayer, not a "let's figure out each and every single plot point from beginning to end" roleplayer.

pet peeves & dealbreakers: guilt trippy, emotionally manipulative posts make me very uncomfortable, and i typically softblock after seeing multiple posts of this nature in a row. this type of behavior is very triggering for me. ask me to tell you the story of my former friend who said God Himself told her to delete her blog, and you'll understand why.

plot or memes: memes!!!!!! like i said above, i like a casual approach to creating a dynamic and then building up from the comfortable foundation of a meme or two and some brief discussion. i do love in depth plots, don't get me wrong, but this is a casual hobby for me, and i don't want to pressure myself or another person with constant attention or a demand for super thorough stories when we're busy with irl stuff. for me, it's more fun to be spontaneous and easygoing about plots.

long replies or short replies: i like both, but i tend to write a lot and make replies longer than they need to be. oops

best time to write: i like writing at my desk at work when my workload is low. my boss is of the mindset that "as long as you get your work done, i don't care" so i get my commercials edited and written and fill the in between space with some writing. if i have my headphones in and rain noise playing, i can write whenever. i also love writing at night.

are you like your muse?: i think i put a few pieces of myself into every muse i write!
