a sleepy voice calls out. you freeze and sigh softly.

“damn it, i thought i was quiet enough not to wake you up.”

the bed creaks and you hear a groan as togame sits up. it’s still dark but you can see his outline and you almost pout, wanting to stay in bed with him all day.

“you were, but the bed got cold without ya.”

your close enough and his arms are just long enough that he’s able to stretch and pull you back into bed with him. you roll on top of him with a soft ‘oomf!’

“i gotta go to work, baby,” you whisper, kissing his forehead.

“quit,” he states as he tucks his head into your neck.

“and be your little stay at home partner?” you tease. he’s silent for a moment.

“… doesn’t sound to bad,” he whispers pressing a kiss to your neck.

“yeah right,” you snort, “i’d go crazy in this house all by myself all day.”

he laughs softly along with you.

“besides,” you continue, running your fingers through his hair soothingly, “we’re not even married, gotta make sure we’re locked in before i give up financial independence.”

he snorts again and squeezes you closer to him.

“as if i’d ever leave you, baby… but that marriage think doesn’t sound too bad either.”

As much as I dislike caleo, calypso herself is not an inherently bad character (only talking about pjo, if we're talking about the accurate calypso from Greek myths then I'm tying up my hair and putting my hands up she's awful there)

but the thing is that TOA caleo ruined any development that she could have had

You had a boy who never felt loved and a girl who always fell in love with people that couldn't stay and threw them together? It's a good ship in concept

but then you get to the plot holes and stuff

like calypso being 6000+ years old and Leo being 16

and calypso being insanely rude and demeaning to Leo throughout TOA

it's just not a good ship and I'm sorry because it could've been cute it really could've but it's not

i really really hope that rick realizes that caleo isn't a good or healthy relationship bc it would be better for both calypso and Leo to break up

imagine calypso, someone who has been cursed to never find true love (JUST LIKE REYNA!) finally getting in the mindset that she doesn't need a guy to be happy that she can live her own life without relying on romance

imagine calypso joining the hunters of artemis. would that not be the most perfect thing for her character?

and Leo, who has never found someone who stays with him and loves him for who he is, going on a mission (similar to Orpheus and Eurydice) and bringing Jason back to life and them living together

it's my silly valgrace obsessed brain but seriously??? THIS WOULD BE SO GOOD

And the fanfic writers that I know have written "sequels" like this and did it so perfectly prove that this COULD be done

please Rick I am begging you make my tragic gays happen PLEASEEE

a few Wind Breaker hcs.

umemiya. would really love and adore having a family of his own. signs up for every parenting class available and has a notebook of every piece of advice from each person in town. surprisingly doesn't freak out about the things that can go wrong and instead talks about the future.

suo. is a romantic at heart. not that he swoons at romance, but he is naturally very confident in his approach to it, but not obviously so. it's a subtle type of romance. he isn't shy to give compliments, gifts, signs of affection. if anyone says something about the person he enjoys, he'd be sure to repay the favor.

jou. into adulthood, he would have a completed horimono. they tell a story and were done by a friend of a friend of an elderly man he jokes with at the bath house. it would most likely be in the munewari style. while getting it done, he is relatively quiet and uses the time to reflect.

kaji. very gentle with his partner in most realms. doesn't have a lot of romantic history and so any affection is treated like a precious stone. he cherishes that stone, but holding it in his hands terrifies him. the thought of breaking it is too much for him handle, so he would rather look at it from afar.
