I gotta day I am ABSOLUTELY CHUFFED that my awesome 😎 friend @can swans01 made it to my 25th birthday 🎂 party last Friday!! He’s one of my friends from my Ty Hafan Squad, our palliative care support group that brings together young people who went to Ty Hafan and lived to tell the tale. I was so impressed by how confident Cam’s gotten in the last year; he only used to ever come to social stuff if that pain in the arse @bluebirdccfc94 was coming too... but now he’s a proper social butterfly! He came on his own with just his carer knowing only me and my parents, and he was chatting away to loads of my family and friends all night. It was honestly such a joy to see how confident he is! I’m super proud of you mate 😁! Also, I feel y’all need to know Cam made me AND my mum CRY by being a bastard and saying truly lovely things 😭🥰💖 My mum is officially your biggest fan Cam! So I had the loveliest catch up with this truly amazing lady today 😁💖! She drove and I directed (badly; thank goodness for SatNav!). I took her to Chapter, which she declared very hipster (it is, to be fair) 😂! We had fancy, but very yummy, fish finger sandwiches and sweet potato fries, and talked for four hours straight. Fi and I met at Jade’s birthday party last year; ironically, she’s originally from Swansea, but we never met whilst we both lived there! The first thing I heard Fi say was literally “fuck the patriarchy” and instantly I was like 😍😍😍! In fact, one of Jade’s mates said I turned into the human personification of the heart eyes emoji the moment I met Fi 😂! Fi and I got very drunk that night and talked about everything and anything; how the patriarchy is stupid, mental health advocacy, palliative care, and shoes! She’s a doctor in training and a mental health advocate, a cheerleader and a feminist... basically, she’s the coolest person 😎 you’ll ever meet! She is 100% my girl crush (it’s okay, cause she says I’m hers 😂)! Fi is one of those people I just know I was always meant to meet. Taking to her, whether in person or via our daily Snapchats, is as easy as breathing (possibly easier, on my breathless days!). She’s funny, kind, super smart, and a complete badass, and I feel incredibly lucky to call her a friend 😁🥰💖 Thank you so much for visiting me @ffionbyrne 😁 I had a fab time! I just want to say I’m incredibly proud of my friend @jessicasweet4108 🏆🥇🏅🎖 I could tell she was really struggling with pain/feeling poorly yesterday during our guitar lesson, but she powered through like the badass warrior princess she is 💪🏻👸🏻 AND she’s got a super busy week... so I just want to remind her that she’s AMAZING and STRONG and HAS GOT THIS SHIT COVERED!
