Starting my MLP x Mysme brainrot with the MCs because why not

Just like in the og Mysme they're not suppossed to be in the RFA all at the same time, is mostly a different timelines thing. Muffin Crush is mainly a casual route girly, Meadow Chill happens to be at the most stressful (Another) story, and so does Minty Crash. And Maple Crush & Midday Cycle orbitate deep story and another story.

The resets at the tenth day is usually caused by Midday Cycle playing around and screwing with time while doing so, and the dejavu it causes it's stronger in some ponies than it is in others (while Maple and Yoosung may be almost certain that the they've experienced those stuff before someone like Jaehee may not remember at all).

Girls' Day Out

Over five years later, this game grabbed me by the ankles... actually, it welcomed me back with an outstretched hand after a particularly bad day I had recently. It's been a comfort and has been on my mind since I started playing again.

So, I decided to draw the MCs from Mystic Messenger as I see them. I have one more in mind, but... that's a surprise for later. I have ideas in mind.

I don’t know about Tumblr, but there’s been an active “Hana erasure” movement on reddit and I’m not gonna lie, it pisses me off.

For those of you who don’t know, a couple of months ago Cheritz reblogged/retweeted the announcement of a new webtoon focused on the MM events, therefore giving us fans a reason to believe it’s canon material. The star of this webtoon is a new MC, Hana, who has a backstory and is just as much of a fleshed-out character as everyone else in the MM universe.

The problem is that many people don’t like the way she looks. She’s obviously not like the long-haired MC we’ve seen on every official CG out there. But that’s obviously not a reason to edit Hana just so she can look like MC1. It’s not a reason to say things like, “all MCs are beautiful, but obviously MC1 is the best choice”. Like, who gave you permission to speak on behalf of everyone else? The game is made in a way that allows the players to self-insert. There’s literally an option to put your own picture as the avatar. If you prefer one MC over the other, be it because of her design or the backstory you’ve created for her, sure, be my guest. But please don’t do that by bringing other characters down. And Hana IS the new, and from what it appears, CANON addition to the MM cast. Even if I’m wrong and the webtoon is not canon material, then Hana is an OC. Someone spent hours to create her design and think of a compelling story for her.

So please, show some respect.
