I don't usually post sona related art, but I just beat the SMRPG remake and it made me just. start crying. Like i was just sobbing my way through the end of the game, and my hope for the future of Mario RPGs has never been brighter. So it made me just. Feel a lot of emotions and I didn't really know how else to capture them.
I'm very happy I got to live during a time when this wonderful game got a remake that will be more readily available for people to play. And I am so happy this game was just as good as I have been told it was. Definitely looking forward to replaying it again.

#germdraws#germ draws#goop#sona art#smrpg remake#mostly bc thats what this is talking about#i dont expect this to get notes this was just like. a personal piece about my emotional state today#not too often does a game quite drive me to the point of drawing my emotional state about it#I didnt. expect to cry like a baby over it#i knew id prolly cry. most mario rpgs do make me cry#but i havent cried this hard since i replayed origami king earlier this year#and that was probably bc it was like. the same week as finding out mario was getting a new va#and bc i was witnessing my favorite piece of media travel into a new era#and i am beyond excited#especially because the second major game to kick off said new era....is a game from 1996#a game ive been told about a lot in my life. every other mario rpg that was hyped to me never hit right. ttyd n bis both#i never finished ttyd. bis was rather tiring. maybe ill replay it one day. who knows#but smrpg was. rlly good. i rlly liked it. it made me very happy. i made me very emotional.

#salty talks#linebecks been on this list its my tarnished whos the new one. bc i was playing elden ring earlier#with linebeck is jsut like. i think itd be hot if he were covered in blood. yknow. the whole deal#with my tarnished its more me toying with the concept and it just working well with how i play her#as extremely aggressive n intending to Do Damage n just fighting through poison of scarlet rot or just facetanking attacks to get a hit in#im kinda interested in the idea that a tarnished can get pretty mangled up and keep going before getting killed#and i can have fun visual stuff with her since her face is covered by the guardian mask so i can play with clothing/armor damage#today i killed rykard (ridiculously fun fight btw. extremely fun) and thought abt like. her fighting recklessly and with the bloodthirst#to fight even while in the lava around him to the point where it melts away the bottom of her greaves and chars and damages her feet#i play elden ring like i play pokemon i intende to do as much damage as possible so dual straightswords and bleed buildup baybee#and my girl is absolutely just covered in blood covered in muck making a beeline for every boss every enemy#i like the idea that she joined the recusants specifically because she was bored and wanted more stuff to fight#i started off with the samurai background so thats interesting to factor into her- like she was fighting in that civil war#before she was compelled by grace to travel to the lands between and is kinda stoked to find out that she cannot die permanently#and is therefore free to take on everything the lands between has to offer. shes also probably a lesbian#siding with ranni using tiche as the main summon eager to help rya and probably nepheli#she likes women in some capacity. royal knight loretta is a fav. anyways. she prob gets torn to shit but if she can keep fighting she will#morgott was a very quick and frenzied fight for me i imagine she takes bad wounds during that but still pushes to keep up with him#she is. fun. this got beyond the point but also this was kinda an excuse to talk abt my tarnished

#(aka me when my acid burns randomly start throbbin’ when i bend over :( it’s very inconvenient)#in other news this week absolutely s u c k s can i trade it in for a better one—#first there was that acid spill. which. like. ouch???? but the mark is still there and is apparently very obvious. which sucks#then the day after the acid attack™️ meself and one other guy were called out under the assumption that we were doing unnecessary overtime#with the ‘unnecessary’ part running off the basis that there’s a low sample volume bc one single monday had fewer samples than usual#and we were singled out j u s t because our taxi claims for last month were through the roof due to the fact that we live across the country#like??? hellooo????? why are you treating it like it’s my fault that i have to pay upwards of $24 (at least) to get home???#and??? excuse????? why are you extrapolating the previous day’s sample volume to the previous month’s workload as a whole????#but. m a n. the way the mildly higher up lady abruptly shouted at me for asking a question just. pissed me off. for some reason.#she was talking in circles regarding the future of our taxi claims#so i asked if we (now) had to submit a second claims form for the transport company dudes to compensate us#and she yelled at me to stop talking before i could finish :( sadded and annoyed tbh#though i get the feeling that she hasn’t liked me ever since i left some results she asked for between her desk and some other guy’s desk#and someone else had placed their notebook or sth atop it so she couldn’t find it. and she blamed me for it. ha.#that was a few weeks ago though. so. hm. i wonder if she’s still mad about that…#either way. i applied for a couple of jobs that are closer to my place bc screw travelling across the country for an hour every day#s c r e w hour-long train rides i’d rather sleep#i prolly won’t even get the other jobs but. oh well. that’s life ig

#LITERALLY JUST HER VOICE#he sounds more and more like her with each new bit of footage released#I can't decide if I like this movie or not#it looks typically corny and too self-aware but on the other hand mario earnestly checking out the travel pipes#n going “oh wow love these pipes” was a cute moment. cause he's a plumber#also this is a nitpick but not a fan of these loud sound effects that have dominated cinema for the past 2 decades#anything that's kind of a sci-fi/mechanical/impact sound#you know when they really wanna show off the latest audio skills and mix everything for theatre quality#loud is good right#not necessarily the volume tho I just think they're generic

been planning a trip w/friends (rather than family) for the first time and so i have no sense of scale for how to budget anything but i do know that i look at my bank acct n go D:

hey! while i can’t say for sure, i can hazard a guess bc my hairstyle is really similar to logan’s! since it’s long enough for a small ponytail but short enough for those locks at the crown of his head to do their thing, i’d wager that loose, it comes abouuuut up to his jaw?
that, and with how tightly his hairtie has to be secured, i’d also say that he has to deal with some pretty annoying dents whenever he lets his hair down, lol.

im sooooooo fucking excited to be driving so far to see fob like genuinely i love traveling and love adventures and experiencing new places and things like this and i love fob so much i would literally do anything for them so a 13 hour drive from washington to utah is so whatever and just like. idk it's gonna be such a special whole experience it is going to be Everything im So Excited

#Arright here I go again I gotta do some of these when I gotta vent#posting this on the 17th of August#So the elestral thing is going alright. My focus has shifted a LOT there but I'm still working with em#But the majority of my work comes from another client now. It's another one of these things that I'd love to make by myself#But someone else is making it and wanting me to do the art and music. It's gonna be huge. What a life it is. Anyway#This gif is from yet another project I started recently. Separate from Smile More HoaM and anything else. I keep fucking doing this#But this one's strange. It reflects my current working skills I've built up all these years. A multimedia experience that has a start n end#featuring all your favourite elphame characters in a new style. I'm enjoying making it but there's one problem#I haven't worked on it in like a month and a half#Work is piling up. Pixel art is something I don't do for myself anymore#It's not even a case of “as soon as I have time to myself my fingers can't move" it's that I just do not have any spare time lmao#I meet Ashley once or twice a week. We still play digimon a lot but we're taking this month off since she's petsitting and can't go out lat#My flatmate has basically taken the summer off work since his job pays well enough for him to do so#so having him around to play games with is nice. Feels awkward taking baths with him in the house tho lmao#He is kind of the only reason I take breaks. I got pikmin 4 and it is incredible. Genuinely might have replaced Digimon World as 1st place#Mum took Andy and I to Netherlands recently. It was incredible. I played in a local digimon tournament and ate shit#Have just been so excited about travelling lately. Ashy taking me to manchester soon and I think we'll go london next spring or sooner#Worried I'm overdoing it with the tags so I'll sign off here. Work is stressing me out but it looks like big things are happening.#OH MY GOD I HAVE STOPPED BLEEDING BTW. Like almost altogether. Haven't in like a month.
