A lot of people saw Kuguri as an emotionless person. In school, he was a volleyball player who never seemed to enjoy anything despite his talent.

But you knew your best friend better than that.

You knew that his distinct humour always made you feel better after a bad test or some breakup from a relationship that only lasted a month. Already in high school, he brightened your days.

Now, he would come to the café where you worked after a particularly exciting or frustrating day at work to tell you all about it. Perhaps his tone wasn’t that dynamic, but you knew him well enough to distinguish his emotions from each other.

Recently, he joined a local volleyball team that took up some of his evenings, so today he came by to grab a coffee on his way there. While you made the coffee, he leaned on the edge of the counter and told you how nervous he was to get to know new players.

And then as you finished the coffee, you set it down in front of him and gave him a few reassuring words with a boop on the nose. He looked unbothered by it, but you could see the slight tinge of colour on his cheeks. The two of you did the signature handshake you made in high school before he had to be on his way.

He grabbed the cup, nodding his head at you and wishing you goodbye as always. Except, it wasn’t quite like always.

“Bye, I love you!” he said while turning around, already heading out and crossing the road so he could get on a bus.

He sat down in his seat, breathing out and looking at what you wrote on his cup, a ‘go get ‘em tiger’ decorated with lots of stars.

And then the words rang in his head.

“I love you.”

Oh my god, I told her I love her. I wasn’t supposed to do it like that!

He scrambled to get his phone out of his pocket, where it fought to stay so it wouldn’t have to witness him try to smooth over his mistake.

It’s really cold so let’s warm it up with something cute! Y/N accidentally left her gloves home, so her hands are freezing. Normally one would shove their hands in their pockets to keep warm, but it doesn’t help at all. So she blows hot air on her hands to keep them warm as she’s out with her bf. The characters I have in mind for this one are Kyotani, Bokuto, Kuguri, and Hinata noticing this and handle it in their own way

* You realised you left you gloves the minute you crossed the street

* It's was too late, you were too late, you boyfriend was probably waiting for you in this cold and here you were contemplating on if you should be even more late

* Pockets. You've got pockets, so it should be fine

* Except five minutes with your boyfriend later, you could sense your hands freezing

* You try to find warmth in your pocket but it was all gone

* So you pull out you hand, cupping them together and blowing on them, huffing and puffing only for the heat to dissipate seconds later

Kyotani

* hears you puffing and looks at you like ?

* He knew it was cold, got a little annoyed when you told him you left your gloves at home

* He's kept you close to him anyways

* He was quite broad, wrapping his arm around you waist as you walk together

* His own body heat radiating on you but somehow your hands were still cold

* "Princess, here"

* You look at him, seeing his outstretched hand holding one of his own gloves

* The woolly materials looked so warm

* "Actually wait," you slump you shoulders in disappointment, so he wasn't going to share?

Notes: Hi everyone! Once again I have completed another character in 3 parts instead of 4. I hope that everyone has enjoyed Kuguri’s catch-up chapters! And I also hope that you’re all enjoying Omi’s new fic that is pinned on my blog. I got asked not long ago if I was doing it soon, so whoever it was that asked that, I hope that you enjoy it when you read it!! It was fun to do. Something about Omi being messy in bed really gets me.

What it’s Like to Kiss Naoyasu Kuguri

It took me a bit going through my posts to find you again, and I’m not so sure if you remember, but awhile back you asked me if I would ever consider adding Kuguri to my line-up in anything, and I’ve been trying to figure out what the hell to write for him for awhile now, but I finally decided to do this and make something longer soon, though the longer chapter I was thinking of doing was a sleepy cuddles chapter. I hope that you like this and I promise I will do the sleepy cuddles chapter for Kuguri soon!

Despite how bored and bad at all romantic things Kuguri has always looked to people, he was a very passionate kind of lover. Maybe sometimes it was more subtle, but after you learned all of his cues and got him riled up enough, his kisses were some of the best kisses you’d ever experienced. Especially once he got better at kissing, Kuguri easily became the best kisser you knew. Your passionate kisses shared never lacked chemistry and it never will

Kuguri’s lips have a tendency to be a little bit more chapped occasionally, though he never really does anything about it aside from giving them a quick lick. He would put chapstick on if you were to force him to, but he doesn’t like the way it feels or tastes when he instinctively licks his lips. Kuguri has decently thin lips, though his bottom lip has more to it than some others with thin lips. Even though they’re sort of thin, Kuguri’s lips are still fun to kiss and suck on

Whenever his lips are chapped, he sort of ignores it unless it drives him insane or you ask him to put chapstick on. During the winter months, he typically wears chapstick even without you asking because his lips start to bother him. He’d rather only lick his lips and let it go, but when he gets anxious about things, while it doesn’t happen often it still does happen occasionally, he has a bad tendency to chew on his lips and make them bleed, so chapstick is a better option in the dry winter months

He honestly has a scent that you’ve never been able to pinpoint. He almost smells sweet like he’d recently eaten a butterscotch candy or he’d chosen a lighter scented cologne, though he sometimes skips cologne and only smells like the soap that he showers with. Occasionally you swear he steals your conditioner or body wash, though even if he did, he would never admit to it

Kuguri tastes sweet like he smells. He has a slight strawberry like flavor, something fruity or minty if he’s just brushed his teeth. Kuguri doesn’t drink much soda, but he always seems to taste sweet as if his water was infused with fresh fruit or he had chewed on a fruity piece of gum before kissing you. Though if you were to bring it up, he wouldn’t really understand what you mean

He loves to kiss, though his love for kissing has grown over the course of your relationship. When you had first gotten together, he hadn’t cared all that much for kissing. He found it a bit annoying to kiss during movies or while the two of you were cooking, but now he’s more than willing to have a slow make out session with you at any time of the day or night. Kuguri has worked his way up with his experience in kissing, always leaving your heartstrings pulled and cheeks flushing warm when he nibbles on your lower lip or sucks on your tongue

His face is rather neutral while he’s kissing you. It sometimes almost seems as if he isn’t always enjoying it because of the way he just kisses you with this passion but absolutely no changing facial expression, though if you were to kiss him deep enough, tug his hair, or squirm beneath him and rub him the right way, it would always earn a tiny moan into the kiss because he’s so focused. Though he’s usually pretty quiet and waiting for you to be the one to make noise

Unlike some of the other characters, Kuguri has never been a fan of short and sweet kisses. He prefers to pull you close by the waist and linger for a few seconds, having a passionate and loving sort of kiss that leaves you breathless every time. Because of this, he typically only presses a quick kiss to your forehead before he leaves to go anywhere without you, because he knows that if he were to kiss you, he wouldn’t be able to stop as soon as he would need to so he could be on time

Ruining a kiss for Kuguri would depend on his mood. Sometimes the smallest things that don’t even have anything to do with you could ruin a kiss, sometimes you wanting to stop is what ends the kiss, sometimes him wanting to stop is what ends the kiss. Sometimes bad breath, sometimes exhaustion, sometimes a loud noise or a thunderstorm he merely wants to cuddle through. It all depends on the night and the kind of distraction from your lips that deciphers whether the kiss is ending or not

When he’s kissing you, one of Kuguri’s favorite things to do to you is nibble on your lip and hold your head in his hand. He would gently bite your lip and suck on it while he massages your head as he gently cradles it in his hand rather than letting you lay your head flat on the bed or on the sofa. Another thing he likes to do is hold you on his lap and grope at your chest while he’s kissing you
