So, many of us have seen the little Gai/Kakashi/Obito cameo in the new Naruto spin off manga, right?

But what about…

1.) Very small Gai and Kakashi walking together?

2.) Very small lower half of Obito walking toward them?

3.) Small Obito feet walking away with Kakashi and Gai?

Minato manga spoilers below cut

This raised a BUNCH of questions for me. It seems like Kushina couldn’t ever really leave this radius without permission from the third Hokage, was she confined to this space her entire life? Which means she never saw Konoha in its entirety.

She was taken from her home country as a little girl (which was destroyed later on), brought to a different one for reasons she was not told and then forced to stay in one area forever?? She wasn’t even able to fully see her new “home”. Konoha made her a prisoner in a sentence. It’s so fucked up

This all begs the question why wasn’t Naruto given the same treatment? Here’s what I think. I think they took these precautions with Kushina because she was an outsider, she had no real allegiance to Konoha which would have made to easier to just leave the village and never return had she wanted.

But bc Naruto was a Konoha citizen that incentive to leave was something to worry about as he would have been easier to control through propaganda and mold into Konoha’s weapon. I hate it here.

I don’t care anybody says I just know for sure this was one of danzo’s many “bright” ideas to protect the leaf. The third hokage probably just let him do it too. I feel like they did this because even though the leaf is her new home she is still an outsider so they may not trust her and maybe they fear her running away from the village.

Minato came up with the Rasengan for Kushina, to protect her, he made a jutsu for her. I can't stress over this fact enough.

In the Minato one shot manga, it was shown that Kushina had two (probably anbu by the masks) guards assigned personally to her. Their job was to keep her from going outside the protection of the barrier, right? The barrier that kept the kyubi from influencing her too much or taking control.

All I'm saying is that the two leaders of Team 7 had to be anbu by request and that their job was (partially) to keep an eye on Naruto, in case he'd lose control or in case there were any trouble with the seal.

So we learned that Kushina came up with “rasengan” and it becomes Minato’s famous move and then Naruto masters it to various degrees.

I don’t even know how to not feel emotional about this manga anymore.
