INFRARED:

Sealed with a box of sharp mindedness and intricacy, the corners of INFRARED’s rhymes have a way of gifting listeners with a three dimensional sound that shows their skilled entities: verbal dexterity, harmonic execution and pondering rhyme schemes — and while you may think this is applesauce we recommend to give your ears a scoop of their ripeness.

“We are three artist that all have different sounds, vibes and flavors. We all vibe and feed off each other and we try to do sh*t that ain’t been done before creatively - whether it’s rhymes or videos.”

That is what the Austin, Texas bound trio known as INFRARED says about their collective name.

It all began for these 3 in their younger years. “I’ve been rapping since 2009. I’d just freestyle for classmates and get great feedback” says Lo Thraxx “I got serious when I figured out that college wasn’t for me, but I knew that music was my strong point.”

For LLOYD BLVCK, he’s been splurging rhymes since the age of 12. “I’ve been rapping and dabbling in production [since I was 12] and I even dropped a mixtape in 2010 before graduating high school / going out of state to play college football” the emcee remarks, “During college I maintained my pen but rarely dropped music as I made football my priority. Things changed toward graduating college and music took over the forefront.” and similarly enough J-Fleet also began at the age of 12! “Whether it was free styling for fun with friends or having battles in the school lunchroom, it was the thing to do” Mr Fleet says, “The feeling of wrecking a freestyle and having the crowd go crazy just made me want to do it more. Eventually I ended up linking up with a dude that had a bootleg recording set up and ended up making my first tape with him [in 7th or 8th grade], selling it in school and selling out daily! It was a wrap from there — I knew music was what I wanted to do”

Since March 2018, they have united together as INFRARED — “3 mics, 3 takes”

A man that sparkles acuity through the root of his words, he favors those alike such as Jay-Z, Nas and Andre 3000 —

“Ultimately through my music I try to convey that anything is possible,” BLVCK states “Make the most of your time here, take it serious cause it can be gone tomorrow but have fun doing it. Self expression got me through my darkest times and inspiring someone else to do the same means the world. That’s what I do it for.”

On the contrary, J-Fleet trickles streaming platforms with a leak of playful melodies and Southern grittiness just like his inspirations Slim Thug, Z-ro, Lil Wayne & Big KRIT. “I make music on vibes, so however i'm feeling that day or however a beat makes me feel thats what im going to put out, ” he says “Music is the all time high”

But what about Lo Thraxx? Inspired by Ice Cube, Nas, Chamillionaire, Drake and Lil Wayne he thrives to familiarize the world with his authenticity. “Making music means putting my unique energy, thoughts and personality into music. I want it to be relatable and be in a different format from other artist” says Thraxx “It’s ok to be you and to be the coolest you. Because there’s only one you. I motivate and inspire that.”

Comparing theirselves to “three frequencies on the same wavelength” LLOYD BLVCK , J-Fleet and Lo Thraxx exemplify a higher amplitude than most when it comes to their brainy motifs, chill aura and good natured banter and it gets better! (they even add a rack of head nodding bangers through their verses that could either make you want to “get a rollie and flip it” or “bee have and get your honey stuck”.

Expect them to continuously shift your geared brains to autopilot.
