This is such a strange follow-up to Kids, both tonally and stylistically. I wasn't expecting it. The set-up is so weak/bland and if not for a solid James Woods performance (who is a rare actor that can go completely over the top and have it still work, a la Nic Cage), this would have been completely unwatchable. I also hated the soul-drenched soundtrack infesting most scenes. But it's main issue is that it's simply boring and I didn't find any of the characters had any depth.
