The Return of blue sky in Jakarta

For many years, Jakarta have been struggling with a very high rate of pollution. The pollution was so concerning that it was deemed toxic and it's almost put Jakarta into an unlivable city. So in 2013 the government finally decided to start the effort to reduce the pollution by improving public transport and building the first metro in the city.

After 10 years of hard work to improve public transport, Jakarta now have already built 4 metro line which consist of 3 LRT line and 1 MRT line. Jakarta also start to introduce electric buses, and the highest achievement of all is the opening of high speed train last October.

Last September and October, Jakarta was titled as the world's most polluted city but that's mostly because all of the measures taken by the government is a little too late but this effect is not gonna be forever because less and less people are using their personal car and more and more people using public transport. Finally, we can see a blue sky in Jakarta again and I hope this view is continuous.

Day 15 of Quarantine

How long would it takes for me and everyone to be able to continue our normal life???. I don’t know at have no idea at all because I’m not expert in everything regarding the pandemic of the coronavirus which already spreading to all country in the world. Something that I’m never expect is that how this event that I thought only happens in the movie is really happening right now. This event really reminds me with movie “Contagion” that was released back in 2011 and really have lots of similarities. I’ve been self quarantined at my house for exactly two weeks, and seems like it will still continue. To be honest I feel very sick at home all the time, if i had to choose between spending my time in house all the time or facing a stressful work life, i would choose to be stressful at work. At least I still can meet some friends, hanging out, socialize, and everything that I can’t do at home. But what choice do i have??, I also need to respect and helping all the healthcare worker who currently staying at the hospital working to treat all the Covid-19 patients by staying at home. To be honest I’m really sick of it but yeah that’s the only option. 

Currently the only way to be outside the house is by climbing to the rooftop of my house and got a picture of it.

The #firstphonevscurrentphone is quite famous hashtag right now, but i think rather than comparing my first phone with my current phone, i will show the evolution of my phone. My first cell phone is Nokia 1110 which my parents gave me when i was in 5th grade and my current phone is Vivo S1 Pro which not in the picture because the picture is dedicated to my former phone. The Xiaomi Mi Max in the picture to be honest is still in use but since it’s already replaced by the Vivo, so it’s joint my other former phone, but nevertheless it’s the longest running phone i ever use. Here is the timeline of my phone

I love the old Jakarta

I found a photograph of Jakarta during the colonial era, if i was asked for opinion, i would say that I’m in love with this Jakarta, but sadly all of those beauty is no longer visible, Jakarta is changing in the bad way (in terms of development) wish i could do something to get the beauty back.

Once upon a time in a campus, there’s a three little kitten that live in a campus area. Three of them are soo cute and every student there loves them and always feed them. All of them are enjoying their life, but they have a sorrow in the past as three of them is abandoned by their mothers.

These kittens is designed as a mascot by the students and they assuming the kittens is belong to the students. One of the students decided to gave them names, the black one is cola, the orange is champagne and the smallest one is called whisky. As the time goes by the kittens start to adapted with their names. One day a student is bring a lunch box, when he’s about to eat, he forgot something and decide to go just for second and leaves his lunch on the table. The hungry whisky then sneaks onto the table and start eating his lunch. When the student go back, he see that his lunch is being eaten by whisky and suddenly he react furiously to the kitten and throws him away. From then on, this student became really anti towards cat and he never feed those cats anymore. The three kittens still can enjoy the feast given by other students despite now they have a student who no longer likes them and all because of whisky. Finally the summer holiday is coming and all students goes home and the kittens left out in the campus without no one to watch them. The kittens doesn’t understand why no one coming to feed them, then Cola thought that Whisky is the cause why the students left them as he’s the only one who mess up with a student. One day a janitor who knows their existence came up to feed them. They decided to share the food but Cola refuse to share with Whisky and both are fighting. Whisky felt excluded as he could only watch his friend enjoy the feast, so he decided to go with hungry stomach. Before he left, he told Champagne that he feel sorry for what he has done. Few days later the janitor found Whisky’s body in the drain, then he decides to bury him at the campus yard. Champagne and Cola watches him bury their friend, Champagne then furious to Cola because if he let him to eat, Whisky maybe still alive. Cola regretted all his feeling to Whisky and go to his grave to say goodbye, he then say "see you later pal, we'll gotta see each other again". Then, he and Champagne swears that they will never be apart. The end.

Spinocerebellar Ataxia

When i was little i watch a Japanese serial call “1 litre of tears”, it’s a story about a young girl who live with this disease. If i had to choose between this disease and another like cancer or HIV, i will pick the second option. This disease is degenerative terminal impacting the cerebellum. What happen is the cerebellum degenerated slowly until it completely destroyed. The symptom of this disease is also developing, early symptom is you will stumbled frequently and fell down with your hand cannot respond to protect your head, another symptom include late movement, lack of body balance, drop something easily, writing difficulty etc. All of those symptoms is developing to worsening stage, in the end the patient will completely no ability regarding movement, and even cannot speak.

I never know that there’s a cruel disease like this, and for fact that this disease still have no cure and to me it felt unfair that for diseases that caused by self negligence such HIV, other STD’s, etc does have a cure while this disease doesn’t. And it also more ironic if this disease infecting a completely innocent people, all hopes for the patients with this disease that one day there will be a cure for this disease.
