Dakotsu Iida trained under Takahama Kyoshi, and was chief editor of the poetry journal Unmo until his death. His son Ryuta Iida, a famous haiku poet himself, took over as the editor of Unmo after his father’s death.

" your highness, you know you ought not to be alone — especially after what happened. you gave the evening shift quite a scare when you were not in your room. " hence izar's presence, called upon since they seem to have the uncanny ability to locate others. call it a feeling ; sometimes, izar wished to not have it at all. but yet, here they are, doing as they're told once again. " what drew you here at this hour ?? and alone, as well ?? "

          izar makes a soft noise of amusement but little more, stepping closer to the celesta princess, hands clasp behind their back as they too cast their gaze skyward. " it is the queen of night who struggles for her life, " they observe. " perhaps even the clouds know that tonight. " it is dark here, though they can see for the most part, enough to know they are not in any danger at the moment. but they also suppose of the three elaris children, perhaps navier is the most equip to feel comfortable among the shadows. " or perhaps it is an omen of something else. "

“it wouldn't be the first time I've given such a fright. and yet, somwhow; you always find me, izar. quite odd, I must say. comforting as well.” comments the princess, staring up at the night sky. navier in search of the moon but even it is content with remaining in the shadows, casting darkness upon their current surroundings. “the moon.” navier responds after what feels like ages. “where did she go?” // @izarara

orchids by night – within their fragrance looms their blossoms’ white!

One of the four great haiku masters, Yosa Buson studied both Japanese and Chinese poetry. He was also an accomplished painter, and most of his poems were accompanied by paintings, resulting in a more diverse and individual set of works than the one by his main historical influence, Basho.
