Being part of town activities was something Nazli had been doing for as long as she could remember. Lending a helping hand down at the homeless shelter as a teen, volunteering to pick up trash on the beach when everyone else was off boating with their friends. Things had not changed for her, even at the age of thirty-two. Nazli had volunteered to come and help clean the beach on her day off from work and it seemed many others had. "Hey, Riley," Nazli recognized the other from many other cleanups around town, "want to head this way down the beach? We can grab a few trash bags, but it doesn't look as bad as I expected.

Nazli walked alongside Drew, her arm looped through his as they navigated the filled streets of Kismet Harbor. "Are you thinking we browse first or get food?" She questioned, looking up at him, only a moment as to not misstep. "I'm open to either," truthfully, Nazli had zero plans for the day and was going to go with the flow. Where that would take her? Now, that was the fun of it all.

Nazli's sibling had bailed on coming and when she arrived, she was placed at a table with no indication if she'd be seated with someone or not. She scrolled mindlessly on her phone when she felt someone sit down at the table with her. "Oh, hi," Nazli looked up, a smile growing on her lips until her eyes landed on the person sitting across from her. No. It couldn't be. Of course. She was going to give her sibling hell when she saw them again, considering the person sitting at the table with her for the wine and cheese pairing was Andrew's ex-boyfriend.

Sleeping with her ex-husband was not the brightest idea that Nazli had ever had, but considering why he left her, she felt that it was harmless and it was clear that the both of them had to blow off steam. "So." Nazli rolled over to face him, propping her head up on her hand, "are you going to tell me what's really going on or are we just going to ignore the elephant in the room?"

Nazli had been giving Alec a tour of the preschool, not something she did often but the other teachers were tied up with the amount of children they had at the preschool currently. "It really is never too early to start thinking about preschool," she told Alec with a smile as they paused at one of the classrooms to watch through the door, "It's harder to get into them at times, especially as the number of kids grows and the number of adults dwindles." She explained to the man, "We can head over to the cafeteria, I promise it's not hospital grade food," she teased, knowing that Alec was a neurosurgeon.

Nazli knew there was a bit of a risk coming to the diner, knowing that she might run into Roman. She didn't know if it was still awkward for the other and while she had enjoyed their conversations, she didn't want to be a reminder of someone that brought him pain. The same person that had once brought her pain. However, it was an easy place to meet up with her sister's boyfriend. Nazli wasn't like a big brother, in the sense that she wanted to have lunch with Ricky to intimidate him, but rather get to know him more. He seemed like a sweet young man and if her sister was happy, so was she. "Hey, Ricky," she greeted him, waving him over as she saw him walk in the door, "I'm glad you could make it."

"C'mon," Nazli leaned against the door with a bright smile gracing her lips, "we've got lunch plans." She chided Joanna playfully as she awaited the other at the door of her office. "I was thinking we could go to Nourish Bistro if you are in the mood for something healthy and the Grill and Lounge if you want something a bit less healthy." The brunette suggested to her as she adjusted her purse against her shoulder.

"I am so glad we could get out for a girl's evening," she smiled across the table at Gen, looking up to thank the waitress that brought their glasses of wine to them. With her career in social work, it wasn't uncommon for Nazli to interact with the lawyers in Kismet Harbor. "How has work been treating you? Cristian? The kids?" She felt like she hadn't talked to Gen in forever.

"Travis!" Nazli squealed as she spotted her former brother in law. Though her and Drew were no longer married, she did think of the Jackson family as family. She had always adored them and didn't want to lose them, even if it had taken her a while to embrace the whole divorced thing. "It's been so long since we've seen each other," she gently chided him, "has the house been finished?"

"Now that we are settled," Nazli stretched her legs out on the towel that she had placed between her and the sand, though it would hardly keep the sand from getting everywhere. "Tell me," Nazli tipped her head to the side, making sure to catch Bridget's gaze as she did so. "How are things going with you and Tyler?" Her brows rose at the tail end of the question. "I hope it's going well?" Though it was a bit questionable in her tone, she was genuine in wanting it to go well between the two.

Losing things was something that Nazli did often. It was far from intentional when the woman misplaced her phone at home, or her keys. It was less likely to happen in a public place, as she tried to be more conscious of her surroundings but as Nazli got to her vehicle that was parked on the street in downtown Kismet Harbor, Nazli tried the handle of the car door, finding it locked. Normally if her key fob was close, it would unlock. A sigh passed over her lips and Nazli opened up her purse to find it void of said key fob. "You've got to be kidding."
