@dizzyhippy We were scraping for pieces, Motivational speeches Told me take it or leave it Learn what I learned, But at that time I just felt so defeated Everyone was eating My heart was racing and beating My demons keep trying to get even Why you trying to find a reason? Find someone else to step on Putting in that work this is Not a fight you should bet on My head on straight Trying to find your piece of mind at Times could be a deadly trait I never doubt myself is just Something you should never say Secure my spot with all these godly verses You wasting money but in Your mind I'm sure it's probably worth it I'm working, who turn the Gamers into gangsters? I remember feeling danger, now I'm feeling more discouraged Don't feel that way, I feel your pain, I know you're aggravated You'll get your time, by then I hope your mind is activated Overcome tasks, we grew up fast, That's just the saddest statement One thing I wanna say, enjoy your younger days. #NCWH Listen to the full album. 2 artists that I listen to @dizzyhippy & @lilskies i wanted of even knew that they actually listen to each other music 🎶 keep spitting that real shit y’all may the marathon continue🏁 . @dizzyhippy First let me say shoutout to @lilskies for taking me back. In 2011 when I wrote this verse I just wanted people to listen to me. I knew then, you have to stand for something. I just want to encourage all the artists out there to stick to that shit. You might write a verse that’s ahead of your time and 8 years later somebody might be rapping that shit back to you. The shit is amazing. I’m just humbled and inspired by dope ass energy and I just hope I can keep y’all motivated. To many more moons and a whole lot of music. #NCWH #StillMovin https://www.instagram.com/p/BwZzJMSnko-/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=v9a7pkzd5au8

FULFILLMENT
an integration paper for my practicum last summer
Rendering service is like giving your lifetime as a sacrifice for the betterment of the world.
It is a lifetime propaganda that a person is fighting for. My vision is very clear, as I start to find a site where I want to have my practicum, It was to render service and be the better person who is unafraid to face her fears and be the change she wanted to be. I am very proud to say that I’ve met this goals through reaching out to our office where I apply. The job I’ve had was not new but not easy too. It was very challenging though. I learned how to improve myself especially in writing letters and other office works, managing my time and improving my social professional attitude and skills. However, the hardest goal I didn’t achieve was being the catalyst of change and a fighter of social justice because it is my long-term goals that I will carry for the rest of my life.
Working in Bantay Familia, Naga City Children’s Home and Naga City Council for Women was exquisite. I experienced to read cases and analyze it. It helped me to further know the children inhoused in NCWH and how to handle them. Also, I became their teacher where I applied my skills in facilitating and knowledge in teaching/classroom management. I also became an organizer of the BF Peer Volunteers’ Team Building where I applied my skills in group dynamics through organizing the event, planning, making the module and facilitating the activities we proposed. I also applied my counselling skills as I handled the inhoused children in the NCWH because those kids were very sensitive and they have problems in managing their social attitude towards each other because of their cases. Some of the children have trouble in managing their anger so they always have conflicts inside the shelter. Another skill I applied was my interviewing skills as I interviewed the clients in BF. One of the most challenging client I interviewed was one of the inhoused children in the NCWH wherein the social worker and the houseparent told me that she tends to make stories. So, as I interviewed her I make sure that all of her stories were intertwined and validated by my follow up questions. Another challenging client was the only boy in the shelter because he has tendencies to became sexually aggressive towards to us. So, what I did I portrayed as a superior toward him for him to follow my rules because he has trouble in following rules and tendencies to deviate the norms. I tried my best to manage him. I also applied my social skills as I had data gathering in the field because we are updating the GAD database. Morever, I also applied my skills in assessment because our head in NCCW gave me an assessment tool to study and I presented it to him as his refreser and soon I will administer it to the various organizations.
Throughout the practicum, I’ve realized as a person that you should be humble enough to accept your mistakes, faithful enough to follow the rules and flexible enough to adapt to change. My practicum experience was an eye opener to me because I have seen what kind of work I will be facing in the future and the face of public facilities and service. As a future psychologist, I have seen how I will be dealing with people if I worked in the public offices. I need to adjust and be hands on with my work because possibly I will be the only psychologist in that office. I must also be passionate enough with my future work for me to have a better relationship in my future office and also in my future colleagues. Lastly, I should keep the fire burning.
