If this was the set of her dating life, Delila wasn’t sure if anyone was ever going to top Xavier; she thought that he must of been kidding with that ‘John Legend’ side shit, but no-- not at all. It was hard to wrap her mind around a man that could fuck as good as him, as as romantic as this? From the horror stories she heard from friends, from co-workers, first dates seemed horrid, but this entire date she had a smile on her face the entire time; a warm kind of feeling that warmed her from the inside out. Having Jasmine over to help her get ready, they decided on a golden yellow, off the shoulder dress, one that hung nearly perfectly at her front to flow down at the bottom, a high slit showing the right of her calf and thigh. To be honest, she was happy the first of the date was the movie, as cliche as it was, and damn she was going to be as cheesy as possible, *says that woman that came knocking at the door with an arrangement of flowers the size of her head, snuggled up to someone watching a movie you’ve never seen? Pretty much heaven.

Like most sad about men, the way to Della’s heart was through her stomach and the promise of being cooked for? Perfection, she warned him that if he was a good cook she’d be over again and again, and it was looking just like that. Conversation flowed so easily between the two, it was as if they were friends more longer than a few weeks, part of her wondered if they would of met without NDHQ. Wiping her lips with a napkin, she crossed her legs under the table before taking his hand in hers and lifting it to her lips, panted lips pressing a kiss to his knuckles before a laugh fell from her own.

“You are, just fucking amazing you beaut-- I’m really happy you made me that damn date basket, as corny as it as.” She teased, the sides of her nose wrinkling as she did so.
