Arthas is... a study. A study in consequence, for the most part. His presence for Jericho will always be a threat; of the distant sort, however. In spite of what the Lich King might claim, they both know this realm is hardly worth the investment. And yet, he keeps returning if only to peck at Jericho's ego. It is almost an honor, in a perverted way of course. He thinks of him as a chaotic force, unpredictable in his whims for he has limited access to his background ( Demonic powers may transcend the mortal realm, but the multiverse is not as accessible to them as their own residential plane )

When Jericho returned from Ionia, he was given a choice. Truth had been revealed to him in death; his Empire was wasting away in the hands of tyrants. He could either choose to retire and become naught more than a recluse, or actively try to do something about it. Raum's presence in his life, a presence that had haunted him since childhood, was a desperate method. The mages warned him against it; he knew the consequences. And yet he chose to fight, until the very end, to bring Noxus to its full glory. He might as well have picked up Frostmourne :)

Arthas is a reflection of what follows. A lesson, for all mortals who think themselves impervious to higher power; who are insolent enough to think they can resist its corruption. He tried. He failed. The result comes to haunt Jericho ever so often. When he visits, the General's chest tightens. He wonders if this shell of a man had once gone through the same palpitations upon realizing his predicament as he, himself, does. He wonders if he had thought the same thoughts, if he had wallowed in the same despair when his Soul was lost to the sword just as Jericho's is slowly being corrupted by the demon. He wishes, on a deeper level, that he could simply ask Arthas; but he thinks the Lich King will respond.

So, no, he does not truly fear him. He understands him; and that in itself is a far more frightening thought.
