Hallmark Is Paying Tribute to Jane Austen With February 2024 Movies — Get Details (TV Insider)
The network will be honoring Jane Austen with Loveuary with Jane Austen, a month of original movie premieres inspired by the author’s work. Four all-new original movies will premiere every Saturday, starting on February 3, at 8/7c.
It all begins with Paging Mr. Darcy, starring Mallory Jansen and Will Kemp. A love of Jane Austen’s stories helps two people to overcome their pride and admit to their belief in love. Then, on February 10 is Love & Jane, in which a woman finds guidance from Jane Austen, quite literally. It stars Alison Sweeney and Benjamin Ayres (a Chronicle Mysteries reunion!).
An American in Austen features a librarian who thinks that no man can live up to Mr. Darcy and gets an unexpected chance to find out if that’s true. The movie, starring Eliza Bennett, Nicholas Bishop, and Nell Barlow, will air on February 17. And to cap it off is Hallmark Mahogany’s “sumptuously beautiful adaptation” of Sense & Sensibility, starring Deborah Ayorinde, Bethany Antonia, Dan Jeannotte, and Akil Largie.

OH NO! Lady put your hair up!!! (At least a prior woman was wearing a bonnet). What do movies have against updos?

Hallmark Mahogany presents a “sumptuously beautiful” adaptation of Sense & Sensibility starring Deborah Ayorinde, Bethany Antonia, Dan Jeannotte, and Akil Largie.
There are already many Hallmark "adaptations" of Jane Austen, I have not watched any of them personally. The middle two here look like a time travel and maybe something like Lost in Austen (which was horrible by the way).
If they turn out to be good, let me know, but my expectations are low.
Also, what is the thing with anti-updos? I think updos are pretty.
I want to know more bout your Toon Town OC (even tho I don’t really know the game much) But I don’t know what to ask.
So~ any random info on any of them so I can get ideas on what to ask in the future?
(Me love Oc info drops wither I know material or not)
i find it somewhat difficult to answer questions that are vague like this.... but i suppose i can elaborate on the stories a bit.
this is a shared universe between me and a friend, and it wasnt really designed to be told through traditional means. that being said there are different "plots" that certain character fits into.
below are which characters fall into what: Bolded are my characters, italicized are my friend's, and emptied are canon characters.
A PLOT / "Clashing Companies"
Libellule Lacroix (The Liability)
Sauterelle Lacroix (The Recordholder)
Baily B. Barlow ("Eyespy"/The Loophole)
Chip Revvington (The Chainsaw Consultant)
Misty Monsoon (The Rainmaker)
Centers mostly around Libellule's disappearance from C.O.G.S Inc and the aftermath of that. Both Libellule finding a new life in the Deforester Force... and Sauterelle trying to adapt to life as a soloist. Baily sees this rift as a perfect opportunity to pull a few strings....
B PLOT / "Corporate Catastrophes"
Ciel Apper (The Auteur)
Fres Nell (The Blatherskite)
Misery Index (The... Misery Index)
Pascal Casio (The Game Changer)
Having been in a creative slump for months, Ciel is introduced to Misery Index by their close friend Fres. He quickly gets thrown into life in the spotlight, much to the worry of Pascal. Despite the growing tension between the director and actor, Fres is confident things will turn out right in the end.
BOTH:
Saturn Actias (The Mothball)
The Watching Whale
These two frequently show up in both plotlines... usually as an antagonistic force. Depending on who you ask it's either "the worst thing to come out of COGS Inc." or "a miracle that whale is alive".
There are a few minor characters too. Such as most of the toons: (Parmousan, Little Ruby Featherflap) or some other cogs (Rolland Riele, Sirrus Monsoon). but otherwise those are the main guys.
id like to showcase their personalities more..... theyve rotted my brain for the past year.
thank you to @dalmispotsu for being that friend in question, and also naming the plots.
