In late 2018, Thomas Park began combining his musical skills with coding. One of his goals was to render cc-licensed material more readily available. Thomas' online player site, the "Thomas Park Audio Explorer", became quite popular. It provided a steady stream to listeners that shifted between various playlists of cc-licensed music. In 2019, Thomas expanded his code, creating a series of stations that actually composed the music as users listened. A series of players on a single page looped different sounds, these being chosen from particular sessions, but otherwise at random. Listeners would, theoretically, never hear the same moment twice. This netrelease celebrates three generative stations by including material recorded from them. You can hear what the streams sound like. The "PI" tracks are from "Piano Iterations". "GSR" is from "Generative Soundscape Radio". "EDR" stands for "Endless Dub Radio". To create these tracks, Thomas simply recorded the streams generated by 3 of his radio stations, and edited these streams into individual tracks. I put out a netrelease for the Swedish experimental/dreampop band Sonores way back in 2006, long before digital albums were a common everyday thing. Now it's 2018 and, while they no longer all live in the same city, the band is finally back with a brand new record.

The latest in a series of digital only releases until we make through the COVID, comes this Friday. Steven Lichti of many notable Vermont musical projects including the noise trio with myself Glacial Erratics. Peter Rahn of rock trio Lake Superior. They team up to present a guitar + drum noise jazz fusion. The band has requested that all proceeds go to Black Lives Matter of Greater Burlington. I'm very proud to present the next my series of netlabel releases. HT038 comes from the U.K.'s MUTATE. I discovered Ade Bordicott's work at the height of the early 2000's Netlabel scene. We appeared on some compilations together specially Hal McGee's Exquisite Corpse Audio Chain Letters. His The End Of Bees got me into drone music.
