Love Nikki / Elex booth at Crunchy Roll Expo 2018

We (me and @maridrawsdotcom) visited the love nikki booth in cosplay and gave them our fanzine we printed and bound for them! There’s photos of the zine + their official cosplayer staff holding the zine :) It was really fun! They gave out those dioramas to anyone who filled out the google form on FB before hand with their username/ IDs

We also asked the staff some questions. The only staff present were marketting though, as we found out development/localization was done in China and not in the USA. These are just general summary/gists of the question / answers these are NOT OFFICIAL STATEMENTS from elex or nikki games so just take it as someone trying their best to illuminate things for us. 

On Dreamweaver: Yes we will be getting it and they are working on it right now but they aren’t sure when it will be released. We asked them to please release it soon because we all want it~

On Translations: Localization programming is done in china, but the translations are in the USA and they say they pay a very competitive if not one of the highest rates for translation so they don’t know why the translations are so poor. Even the staff in china can tell when things are off T_T On skin tones: They are aware that the US / english fanbase wants more make up in different skin tones. They however can’t make old make ups into new skintones because their pipeline / company makes it so all item files are MERGED (omfg i know..) so old make ups will not be updated to more skin tones. However our english server staff is aware that we want more dark skin makeup and they try to ask the devs to make future make ups compatible with dark skin but it’s difficult because apparently the higher ups in china don’t care... :( Me and my friend think the english server just doesn’t make enough money idk.. we told them again that we would really hope they do more skin tones for future make up... 

We forgot to ask about why the ads are so fucking wild on facebook but maybe at ANYC we can ask! LOL
