Put Me in a Movie - Chapter Seven

Summary - You’re a famous actress and he’s one of the greatest directors of all time. What happens when you get cast in his new movie?

Chapter Six

Music filled your ears as you entered the nightclub. The room was bustling with people dancing and grinding on each other as they let the music take control of their souls. Under the dim lights of the club, you could make out the figures of two familiar people. Peter and MJ were dancing with each other in the middle of the dance floor. You pushed your way through the bodies of strangers to get to your friends. 

You gave both of their sweaty bodies big hugs. You were happy to see Peter and MJ were enjoying their child-free night. MJ especially needed a break. Being an author meant that she was home most of the time which meant that she was the primary parent looking after May. 

Jessica soon appeared almost out of thin air. She was looking as glamorous as ever under the strobe lights of the club. Jessica said that she was glad to see that you made it. She also expressed her worry that you might not have come. She said that you looked like a goody two shoes. 

“You must have not seen the New York Fashion Week article about me then,” you laughed. 

“Oh, I have,” Jessica said, “That is something a goody two shoes would totally do.” Jessica did not mean that in a bad way. She was a very sarcastic woman and often used humor as a way to bring light to situations. You learned that very quickly as Jessica simply laughed and said that it was just a joke. 

For the first hour of the night, you danced your butt off. You danced with Peter, then MJ, and then Jessica. You eventually found yourself dancing with complete strangers, male and female. Some were very good with their moves while others looked like they had two left feet. You were an okay dancer. You weren’t professionally trained or anything, but you were born with rhythm. Some people lacked that. 

You soon found out that you couldn’t dance the night away as you once dreamt of. You walked your tired feet over to the bar and sat down on a bar stool. The bar was less crowded than the dance floor, but you could still hear the music playing loudly. 

You asked the bartender for a shot of his favorite. He winked at you in a non-flirtatious way and poured you a shot of vodka. You downed one and then another and then another. You were about to put the fourth one to your lips when a voice stopped you. 

“Might want to make that your last one or else I’ll be carrying you up to your bedroom again tonight.” 

You turned your head to your left and there he was. Miguel was standing there with a smug look on his face. It was a look that contrasted the one that he often wore during filming. That look was replaced with one that looked familiar and inviting. 

“What are you doing here?” You asked, completely ignoring his previous statement. Your shot of vodka was completely forgotten by now. 

“I own this place, but no one knows besides Jessica and now you,” he said. 

You must have been too drunk to remember what happened after he said that. His voice mixed with all the other commotion that was happening in the club. All you were focused on was the way his finger circled the rim of his glass. Or how his canines looked like vampire fangs. Oh, how you would love it if he sunk his vampire-like fangs into you. You wanted him to mark you, use you, do anything he wanted to you. Was this the alcohol talking? Maybe, but you couldn’t deny the fact that Miguel O’Hara was attractive. He wasn’t voted 2018’s sexiest man alive for nothing! 

Miguel could sense you drifting away from him. Not your physical body, but your emotional one. Miguel couldn’t deny his attraction towards you. Since the very first moment, he saw you as Lady Olivia in a production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night three years ago and he couldn't rid his mind of you. He knew that his marriage was turning to shit, but he didn’t know that Jessica was going to cheat on him. After he found out, he felt less guilty about his attraction toward you. He didn’t know how to get into contact with you so when he was offered the job as the director for his new film, he knew exactly who he wanted as his leading lady. By that time, you were already climbing up the ladder of Hollywood stardom. 

Your mind was something that he admired. Unlike most people in this fame crazed town, you were humble, kind, and genuine. When he saw you with that stray the day of the table read, he knew that you were one of a kind. He knew a lot of people who would just leave the puppy there and would not spare it a second glance. You, on the other hand, picked up the dog, regardless of its vaccination status, and treated it like it was a porcelain doll. 

Miguel was not one for looks. Yes, Jessica was a beautiful woman, but that’s not why he married her. She is such a talented actress and he fell in love with her talent. They were friends before and they remained friends after. But you were different. Your beauty was otherworldly to him. It was so unique and one of a kind. Sometimes he would forget to yell ‘cut’ because he would get lost in your spell. You were beautiful, talented, and kind, and he needed you. And as you were in front of him, nodding along to the nonsense that was coming out of his mouth, he knew that he loved you. 

A song came on next that you haven’t heard since high school. Your eyes lit up and you smiled for what seemed like the millionth time tonight. “Come dance with me?” You offered your hand out to Miguel. 

“I don’t dance,” he said. 

“Please, for me,” you pleaded. 

Miguel looked at you and sighed. He couldn’t say no to you. Not after he got lost in those beautiful doe eyes of yours. 

He muttered a curse word under his breath and took your hand. You nearly jumped with excitement as Miguel dragged the two of you to the crowded dance floor. 

The dance floor was packed which didn’t leave much room for the two of you. Your body was pressed up against Miguel’s as your hips swayed from side to side. Miguel put his arms around you and followed your lead. 

He was right. He didn’t dance, but that did not mean that he was bad at it. After a few minutes, he got the hang of it and started twirling you around. You accidentally bumped into a tall and broad man that was dancing with a woman that was about an inch shorter than you were. You apologized to the man and the woman and tried to continue dancing, but the man had other plans.  

“Control your bitch, dude,” the man said. 

Your mouth went wide as soon as you heard the man call you a bitch. You were about to stick up for yourself, but Miguel beat you to it. 

“What the fuck did you just call her?” Miguel’s voice was menacing. Miguel was tall, but not as tall as the man that just disrespected you. That was not going to stop him from beating the shit out of him. 

“I called her a bitch,” those were the last words the man spoke before Miguel was on top of him. His fist was repeatedly punching the man in the face. Blood was getting everywhere. On the floor, Miguel’s fist, Miguel’s clothes, on the man’s clothes. It took five men, short and tall, skinny and fat, to restrain Miguel from the man that called you a bitch. Said man was still on the floor, knocked unconscious. The woman that was with him was long gone. 

You didn’t need a man to protect you, but seeing the way that Miguel almost killed a man for you did something indescribable to you. It made you want him even more than you already did. But you knew you couldn’t have him. He was your director, your employer, your boss. 

“What the fuck happened?” Came a shriek from Jessica Drew herself. 

“Call someone to clean this up,” Miguel said to Jessica. Then, he left without another word. 

He was embarrassed, to say the least. He lost self-control and unleashed something violent within him. He didn’t want you to see that side of him, but when that man called you a bitch he knew he was already gone. You were far from what that man called you. You even apologized to the man when you bumped into him! Miguel knew that you were going to be the death of him, and this incident was evidence enough.

Chapter Eight

He was playing in New York, actually. This is before he really blew up. And I went backstage to meet him. And he said - you know we became actual friends at that moment - and [he] text me a few weeks later and said “would you call my mum and wish her happy birthday? I was like of course, sure. He said my mum was a big influence on me and why I grew up with the music. So I called her up, wished her happy birthday and Harry and I have been friends ever since.

So his Live On Tour shows in NY were on the 28th of September 2017 + the 21st and 22nd of June 2018, and as his mum's birthday is on the 21st of October, she's probably talking about the one in 2017.

A fashion designer is going viral after alleging that beleaguered former Department of Energy official and “gender fluid” activist Sam Brinton stole her suitcase and was photographed wearing the custom clothing she had inside the luggage.

Asya Idarous Khamsin, a Tanzanian fashionista from Texas, took to Twitter on February 20 to explain that her suitcase had been stolen from Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. almost 5 years ago. Khamsin says the stolen baggage contained a number of custom-made outfits she had designed herself, and, after hearing about Brinton’s chronic luggage theft, had looked him up out of curiosity. 

Shockingly, Khamsin uncovered a number of photos of Brinton wearing clothing she identified as being her creations.

While the thread has just gone viral on Twitter this week, Khamsin first tried to bring attention to Brinton’s alleged thievery in December of 2022 when she made an Instagram video showing Brinton wearing her pieces.

In her Twitter thread, posted two days ago, she shared additional images of Brinton with side-by-sides of the clothing she had taken at other points in time.

One photo Khamsin provided showed a model walking a runway in a stunning yellow and gold dress, one which bears a design that looks impossibly similar when compared to outfits Brinton has been seen wearing in 2018 and 2019. 

The gold crescent pattern on the fabric appears on many of Khamsin’s designs from her 2018 fashion show, Lady In Red.

Brinton had been photographed wearing at least two of the pieces suspected to have come from Khamsin’s luggage at the 2018 Trevor Project gala in New York City.

Shocked and appalled, social media users began digging through photos of Brinton to try to find outfits that could also be items from Khamsin’s missing luggage.

One user found a photo of Brinton wearing a top which was similar in design to the dresses, and asked Khamsin if she recognized it. The fashion designer claimed the top as yet another piece of clothing that had been in her stolen luggage.

Khamsin explained that she first looked into Brinton as a suspect after his arrest for stealing luggage was reported by Fox News. Brinton has recently been charged with stealing a woman’s luggage at a Minneapolis airport in September 2022. The contents of the luggage was valued at $2,325.

Shortly after his arrest, Brinton was charged again for stealing another woman’s suitcase in an earlier incident at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport. According to police, the suitcase contained more than $3,500 worth of jewelry, clothing, and makeup. Security footage appears to show Brinton walking through Harry Reid International Airport with the luggage in July 2022.

According to the arrest warrant, Brinton had already received his own bags from the carousel before grabbing the stranger’s luggage and making off with it.

Brinton appeared in court regarding the incident in Minneapolis on February 15. He was released without bail. He had appeared in court regarding the Las Vegas incident in December of 2022. In Nevada, bail for Brinton was set at $15,000 on a felony grand larceny charge. The Nevada judge in that case told the former nuclear waste official to “stay out of trouble.”

If found guilty of his charges, Brinton could face up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. 

Prior to his arrest, Brinton worked as deputy assistant secretary of the Department of Energy’s Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition. However, he has since been released from his position after the Biden administration came under scrutiny following his arrest.

Brinton’s employment in such a high ranking government role had raised eyebrows even prior to his alleged thievery coming to light due to his profile as a “genderfluid” LGBTQ activist and “kink lifestyle.” 

When Brinton was first appointed to the Biden Administration, an article by Metro Weekly featuring Brinton called “Puppy Love” began to circulate publicly.

In the article, Brinton explains his relationship with another man who pretends to be a dog called “Nubi”. “I can hear when Pup needs something faster, because of the difference in the grunts or the moans,” Brinton said. “I actually have trouble when we transition from pup play to having sex. Like, ‘No, I can’t have you whimper like that when we’re having sex,’ because I don’t want to mix that world. It’s interesting, because he doesn’t have to come out of pup mode to have me f*ck him.” Brinton told Metro Weekly.

As well as pup play, Brinton has also given talks at universities on BDSM. In one seminar titled ““Ropes, Whips, & Kinks, Oh My!!” The Polytechnic“, Brinton discussed various sexual fetishes, including adult babies, diaper play, humiliation, degradation, and more.

December 12, 2023 || Born in 1905, Christian Dior, the fashion designer, climbed the ranks of several Parisian fashion houses before establishing his own establishment in 1946.

One of the early royal admirers of the designer was Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II.

She became a client of the fashion house and one of Dior's most famous designs, the "Margaret Dress," was named after her.

Queen Elizabeth II also shared a close connection with Dior.

She appointed Doir to design her Coronation gown for the crowning ceremony in 1953.

The gown, famously called the "Hartnell Dress," was a collaboration between Dior and British couturier Sir Norman Hartnell.

Over the years, various royal family members have continued to wear Dior creations for public appearances.

Dior dressed Prince Harry for King Charles' coronation in May 2023 - as the royal forwent wearing a military uniform. 

Shortly after the coronation ceremony, Dior took to its social media to reveal Kim Jones was the designer behind the suit. 

"Tailoring fit for royalty. Dior is honoured to have dressed Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, for the coronation of King Charles III in a custom design by Kim Jones," the brand wrote on Instagram.

"Seen arriving at Westminster Abbey, gain an insight into the savoir-faire of his three-piece suit next," it added. 

Why was it speculated that Meghan Markle would have a deal with Dior?

In June 2023, it was reported that Meghan was in talks about taking on a deal with Dior.

Following the cancellation of her Spotify podcast after just one season, there was widespread speculation that the Duchess of Sussex was poised for a new role with the French fashion house.

Meghan has worn Dior several times throughout her time as a working royal, including at the late Queen Elizabeth's funeral in September 2022.

However, sources close to the Royals said no contract had been inked.

Dior also expressed its surprise and confusion when the idea of a deal was initially brought up.

A source told the Telegraph: "The Duchess of Sussex is not in talks to sign a deal with Dior.

"There is no truth to the claims that she will partner with the French fashion house,"

A Dior insider said its team was "nonplussed as to how the story came about".

Meghan lost out on the opportunity of a lucrative Dior job to a Kate Middleton actress.

It was revealed in November 2023, that Meg Bellamy, 21, who plays a young Kate Middleton in season six of the hit royal drama The Crown is to be the new face of Dior.

An insider told The Daily Mail: "They have been queuing up for Meg, she is playing the most famous woman in the world in a globally famous television drama, so many labels and brands want some of that.

"She is a total unknown, but she is being treated like Kate, an A-list princess."

What deals and contracts does Meghan Markle have?

After leaving the royal family and their royal duties, Prince Harry and Meghan vowed to become financially independent.

It was reported that the couple would support themselves through Prince Harry's $10 million inheritance from his mother, Princess Diana.

With the world eager to know their story, lucrative million-dollar deals started rolling in from AppleTV, Netflix, and Spotify.

The couple signed a deal with Netflix through their production company, Archewell Productions, with a hefty payment of $100 million for multiple projects.

They have since released one documentary, Harry and Meghan.

Their upcoming documentary series titled, Heart of Invictus, is in the works.

While their third documentary is to be shot in South Africa, the Sussexes are also planning to delve into the rom-com genre with the streaming giant

In June 2023, the couple made headlines when it was reported that their 25-million-dollar deal with Spotify had ended.

According to Rolling Stone, the couple would pay back a portion of their deal money and look for another company to produce podcasts with.

In a joint statement, they said: "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together."

Royal biographer Tom Bower believes that the couple's "joint ventures are falling apart" and that Meghan is finding it difficult to sell her brand.

"They're beginning to taste the medicine that they handed out after the Oprah interview and they're finding it very very hard to keep their brand reputable," Bower told new magazine.

"They're constantly having to defend themselves and grasping at opportunities that don't exist anymore."
