If your nomades OCs were in the last game you played, would class/species/etc would they be?

Oooh that’s a fun one !♥ Let’s see, last game being BG3... and keeping in mind I’m not necessary aware of every class there is in the game, I haven’t digged that far ! And I know nothing about the races lore so I'll just go by vibes.

In order :

Siv :  Sorcerer maybe ? (has natural raw magical powers she's still learning to harness ?) // Tiefling I think, because horns and she have a deer vibe ?

Jasper : Ranger. (deadly with a bow, terrific at nature survival and good with beasts, what else ?) // I'm thinking dragonborn. Actually he’d look like Durge, only leaner.

Augustine : Cleric I guess ? he’d need to be a healer, but he’s also a weird little guy so maybe a cleric for some weird ass god idk... // Human.

Newt : Druid, easy ! nature and plants yay ! // High elf (for the looks and... high... hehehe. He smokes a lot. Sorry lame joke xD)

Zari : Maybe warlock, her power coming from something dangerous and where she pays a price seems fitting. // A gorgeous tiefling because she’d slay as one.

omg....halsin proposition scene but astarion's okay with it, and caprice was even able to reassure him that fucking halsin had nothing to do with astarion not wanting to have sex. and 👀 the um. The. bear transformation......halsin dismissing wildshape and then saying (paraphrased) "you sure you can handle how big my dick is as a bear" in response to being asked to change back....caprice is a gnome 🫣

but also halsins lines about being poly were both cheesy and very sweet

im love the myconids......lore wise it makes sense for shiv to love myconids too, cause he's a circle of the spores druid. but they're also just super cool

also im sorry but i can't bring myself to care too much about saving duke ravengard beyond nullifying the netherbrain's influence. the 'being excised from his family for a choice wyll knew was justified' hits too close to home.

finished shiv's run of bg3. some highlights (BG3 SPOILERS ABOUND):

raphael's battle music is SOOOO good. so good. worth it just for that

freed orpheus, who immediately called shiv out for, quote, "fornicating with a mind flayer" (i guess they did fuck right in front of him)

lae'zel breaks up with you if you fuck mizora or halsin, but not if you fuck the emperor or raphael's body double incubus

gale's cat doesn't like it if he ascends to godhood bc he isn't *hers* anymore

turned karlach into a mind flayer bc....she was dying anyway.....which i thought would be sad but she seems to take to it well. i didn't think that would cancel out the infernal engine but it does, and karlach's "i get to stay!" was cute

for all the emperor says he has faith in tav & co., he allies with the netherbrain with no hesitation if you free orpheus. which....given how quickly orpheus comes around w/rt to karlach's ceremorphosis..... remarkably short-sighted for how worldly he is. the balduran reveal was a surprise. why didn't he just enthrall ansur? very cool character tho, i love how slowly the game fills in his past.

YEAAAHHHHH RIDING WITH BAE'ZEL ON A RED DRAGON

wasn't expecting to like voss but he kinda grew on me

astarion bb ;_; his character growth was heartwarming but realistic. im sure romancing him will permanently shatter my psyche in some profound way

honestly i think my struggle to understand how to make effective battle choices within 5E limited my connection to halsin and jaheira. i just didn't care for how limiting wildshape feels, so i didn't take either of them with me unless it was quest relevant.

i didn't finish the quest to expose kagha so i wasn't named faithwarden despite shiv being a druid. suits him tho, he's more of a loviatar type after everything.

did not spec the squad in a way that made hold person/tasha's laughter/etc viable so i just. didn't use mind control spells hardly at all the whole game. spammed multi attack/multi hit options and moonbeam pretty heavily.

for similar reasons, i found wyll to be very squishy, but the displacement with his eldritch blast was useful.

hey y'all don't destroy the steel watch foundry asap the way i did. it kills everyone in the underwater prison and you never get to visit it. wyll already expected his dad was gonna die cause i freed him from mizora's pact, but still. i wanted to save omeluum...

FINALLY killed raphael. i did have to turn the difficulty level down, but a few uses of tasha's hideous laughter kept raphael down for the entire fight. then obviously gale's magic missile + a necklace that gives an extra missile, and shiv bludgeoning the soul pillars with a quarterstaff.

cazador's death scene is uh. Something. astarion kinda comes undone a bit. i had almost wanted him to be happy, but i couldn't find it surprising that he cried. feeling very small after surviving trauma that you didn't think you'd get out of--oof.
