It's insane how much Miller's face changes based on his hair/hat. S01 with or without the hat already felt like two different people, but here? For a moment I literally thought they changed the actor. And speaking of Miller...

Look, I'm not really a Miller girlie usually but HAVE YOU SEEN the amount of hair on his chest and belly??? God. GOD. I am looking and it is not respectfully sir.

Spartacus Tornerà con un Revival

Dopo una serie originale apprezzata e un periodo di incertezza, Spartacus è pronto a fare il suo ritorno con un revival che prende una direzione inaspettata: Spartacus: House of Ashur. La serie, originariamente prodotta da Starz dal 2010 al 2013, è stata caratterizzata da una storia produttiva complessa, ma nonostante ciò ha conquistato un vasto pubblico. Il revival sarà guidato dallo showrunner originale Steven S. DeKnight e prodotto da Robert Tapert.

Spartacus: House of Ashur – La Serie Revival

La nuova serie, intitolata “Spartacus: House of Ashur,” si concentrerà sul personaggio di Ashur, interpretato da Nick Tarabay, il villain della serie originale. L’approccio prevede una sorta di dimensione temporale alternativa, in cui Ashur, anziché morire come nella serie originale, è ancora vivo. In cambio del suo aiuto nella cattura di Spartaco, gli viene concesso un ludus, creando così una premessa intrigante per la trama.

La Trama

La sinossi ufficiale anticipa l’esplorazione di cosa sarebbe successo se Ashur non fosse morto sul Vesuvio alla fine di “Spartacus: Vengeance” e se gli fosse stata data la scuola di gladiatori precedentemente posseduta da Batiato. Questa prospettiva di ucronia offre un terreno fertile per nuovi sviluppi narrativi, e potenzialmente per il ritorno di personaggi chiave come Lucretia, interpretata da Lucy Lawless.

Il revival manterrà gli elementi distintivi che hanno caratterizzato la serie originale, inclusi la violenza, i muscoli, la storia antica e gli elementi erotici. La scelta di concentrarsi su Ashur promette una nuova prospettiva sulla storia e sulla mitologia di Spartacus, aprendo la strada a una narrazione avvincente.
