Okay, I think I’m starting to like Tomoko a bit more, she is still very CRINGE, but she is also so clueless and pathetic that I can’t help but wish for a little good luck to come her way.  I’m mixed on her brother, I get his perspective, and it isn’t his responsibility to help her, but little man she is drowning and you could offer her a hand now and then (I know he does try), I know she is embarrassing, but you are family, you are stuck with her for life, maybe try and helping her and she might ‘get a clue’ and mature a bit, I don’t know... girl needs HELP and an honest REAL conversation!

Summary

As her second term of high school begins, a sudden seat change  knocks Tomoko for a loop...! And after surviving that trauma, how will  she face the looming "Cultural Festival"...?! Tomoko's smack-dab in the  way of an oncoming term loaded with terrifying events!! Will she make it  through unscathed?!  

Review

It’s time for the school festival and Tomoko is still having a hard time fitting it, her mind conversations are funny, and I do like how none of her classmates are mean or bulling to her, they don’t even seem to be ignoring her on purpose, it come off more that they think she is too shy and nervous (which she is), so they don’t want to push her and make her uncomfortable and then just forget about her. Her middle school friend Yuu-chan comes by the festival and the two walk around. It is fun how much her friend has changed or ‘grown-up’ in comparison, at least with her fashion and attention to her appearence. She is a nice girl and a better friend than Tomoko deserves... Tomoko’s insecurities and wild imagination really don’t help in her being able to connect with people.

We are also introduced to an upper-classmen, the Class Chainman who is in charge of the festival, she takes interesting in Tomoko, as she seem so alone. I like her, she seems like another genuinely nice girl. Her putting on a costume just to give Tomoko a balloon and hug was so sweet.
