The RuPaulication of being gay. The TikTokification of being gay. Both are the same, in a way that it also feels like capitalism taking over, where you've to buy certain accessories, like certain music, watch certain shows, dress a certain way to be Gay EnoughTM, and if you do not, then you're absolutely out of the loop and are not considered gay.

There's a lot I could say about it, especially about how it's very fucking American above all and based around English second of all, and third of all, I just can't stand a lot of pop music and I'm goddamn tired of every Cis Gay Over 30 either gasping at me for not listening to Cher/Beyonce/Insert Pop Artist or Cis Gay Under 30 gasping at me for not listening to Taylor fucking Jet Fuel Swift.

I'm so tired of "gay icons" being cis women that make music videos with huge rainbows and says performative shit that has Feminism 101 written all over it. I hate that being gay is an AestheticTM now. I hate that every queer has to have a common fucking vocabulary that's native only to English-speaking, online-dwelling, TikTok-addict people. It's so infuriating to be giggled at by people because you just don't fucking care about wearing certain clothes that THEY consider gay enough.

letteralmente ieri si è scoperto che una bambina palestinese di SEI anni di cui non si avevano più notizie da fine gennaio dopo l'uccisione da parte di israele dei suoi familiari è stata anch'essa uccisa. è rimasta chissà quante ore chiusa in macchina circondata dalla sua famiglia, tutti morti, ha chiamato i soccorsi spaventata in un modo che penso nessuno di noi potrà mai comprendere e ha aspettato le ambulanze. che sono arrivate a pochi metri dalla macchina, i paramedici pronti a salvarla, per essere invece uccisi insieme alla stessa bambina.

So headcannon or whatever you would call this, but what if when Nico goes back to Tartarus the monsters are a lot more aggressive because he was there before. So not only would it be harder to survive but Nico has Will with him and one wrong move could lead to one of them having to go through Tartarus alone mourning the death of their partner.

Edit because this got more attention then I thought: So Nico hears a voice that leads him into Tartarus, we know this; but we don’t know if Will would be able to hear it too. So if Nico were to die then Will would be trapped down there, close to death, lost, mourning the death of Nico, and there is a prophecy that needs to be complete.

Trans story of the day:

Being at the gym as a trans person is actually very fucking scary. I'm very glad for all the post-op trans people out there but like, I had to go with a beard and a sports bra to the gym. And I was sure that everyone was staring at me.

On Friday, I walked to the machine I needed for my sets, my friend on the other side of the room since he had to do others, and this huge buff guy stared at me as I sat there, readying myself, and I was sure that he'd say some transphobic shit or maybe sneer at me.

But like - he just walked over, told me gently, "You need to adjust the machine, because you're about to hurt yourself - it's this button, have you ever used it? No? Okay, can I show you how?"

And I just. Let him. And he showed me and helped me do my sets and then went on his merry way.

So people who are good to fat, shaking, visibly trans people on the gym? Thank you. You made me want to come back. You made me feel safe. Thank you.
