"Hey there! Name's Sonic, you?"

Nicolette gave him a quizzical look, slowly wrapping him in a hug. “Alright, ya don’t seem fond of me doin’ that with anythin’ really, so I won’t go after no one by myself.”

"...Okay." Bean began, taking a deep breath. "I...I got beaten up by a Nack alternate...probably woulda killed me if I didn't trick him and gotten myself outta there..."

"... What happened this time?" Nicolette asked, not even sure if she should try to help him based off of his last reaction. He did go to the hospital, right...?

"Nic!!" cue Bean clinging to her. He’d been wanting to see her since yesterday and especially after the nightmares he’d woken up from today.

"…If I tell ya….ya gotta promise not to try goin’ after anyone! Okay??"

Nicolette handed him a ice pack. "Ya miiiiight wanna consider puttin' this over that shiner of yers..."

"…Shiner? It ain’t even shiny!" Bean huffed, but took the ice pack and held it over his injured eye either way. He probably wouldn’t even leave it for too long. He didn’t even like ice packs! They were cold!
