Like at least Idol and Phase make attempts to do everything they can for their jp and Hebrew livers respectively, but I've never seen a foreign branch so poorly managed by a corpo as badly as Anycolor has the ex-korean and ex-indonesian ones.

its ok 🫐 anon!! i havent been caught up with all of en either ever since i started college 😭 but still, its ok to feel detached from nijien especially since the branch is getting bigger and bigger recently. in fact, niji en is practically 20% of the main branch (jp, ex-id, AND ex-kr)! if you ask anyone following nijisanji since it was only jp at the time, they’d probably tell you that they keep up with only their oshis and are still somewhat up to date with whats happening with the other livers

so all in all, don’t worry too much about feeling bad that you’re not caught up with the livers ok? its fine to keep up with only your oshis as much as possible, whether it be watching clips or vods or occasionally catching them live. and ofc, its fine to watch clips or catch streams from the others every once in a while if you can <3

kadang suka mikir emang niji itu ancrit bat like i still cant believe they go abt their days ignoring not one but TWO whole branches,,, the one they made,,, their little experimental rodents,,, and leave them. Sometimes i think maybe it's better for the id/kr to just go indie but i know that is not the case by how often the ex-id shares how they're funding their vtubing activity w their day jobs and the fact that most of them openly say their dayjobs/school?? yeah. i can't say much abt kr since I cant understand jp/kr but if they have similar case,, im not surprised. AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE LACK OF MERCH!!! LACK OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT!!!! They literally don't make any tweet abt them at all POINT AND LAUGH! no they dont make id/kr merch for nijifest until like the day before even though hana and zea stepped in for literally everyone!!!! but guess who got merch even after being announced they wont make it???? vox akuma!!! (They dont even make one for shu until last minute too lmao. favoritism) AND WE HAVE TO MAKE OUR OWN MERCH???? FOR THEIR BIRTHDAYS??? TO THE POINT THAT THE FALSEEYED CREW PUT IT ON THEIR VIDEOS??? BC THERE IS NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM MANAGEMENT?? i think it's just fucked that the most exposure they get is from other livers,, don't lie to me if you know mika its 100% from the collabs with lux/en,, and probably couldn't mention her genmates name or literally other ex-ids bc guess what,, niji themselves probably couldn't mention more than half of their id talents which is a shame bc they're crazy talented, more than lots of other livers I'd argue and funny and cracked at games and just overall great entertainment and it's sad to see that they work so hard for seemingly being ignored

end note; i know that management situation is not the best for the id livers, so do them. the best that they can do is live life as is and the best i can do is support them unconditionally

he's the one that fully got me into Niji JP and to witness his announcement... made me really sad.

without him + other reasons, i don't think i want to keep this account. i will make a decision before then.

opinions of nijisanji under the cut.

he said not to send hate to ANYCOLOR Inc but this is my tumblr so i say the shit i want!

i've been into Nijisanji long before the EN branch existed, and by surviving off of translated clips of Niji JP, so I am fairly confident in my opinions of its development.

nijisanji as a whole was a place and the opportunity to become a vtuber without worrying what you SHOULD be. to make it easier for the talents to keep rolling in, there were branches so no one would be afraid of collabing + having a target audience.

nijisanji is literally a rainbow, with plenty of varieties.

but now, the branches have been condensed (KR & ID), and more focus is going into making "idol groups" such as ROFMAO, the EN branch, and maybe future Niji JP waves similar to Ranunculus.

while i do enjoy them and think they are smart moves in garnering audiences, there are times i had this feeling that the vtubers were being directed way too much, which was unlike nijisanji.

ex: ROFMAO skits, they have scripts and sometimes do activities on what management wants them to do.

what also pisses me off is the amount of merch they keep pumping out with the EN branch. are they expecting to make profit all the time? usually voicepacks and merchandise are announced in holidays and a few times between but— what the fuck is a half-anniversary? the shipping for the last goods haven't arrived yet, what the hell are you doing?!

mayuyu also mentioned leaving due to a project they proposed to him without a better alternative. i fucking hope they aren't forcing him to do something he doesn't want!

at this point i'm starting to lose hope in ANYCOLOR. you better not ruin precious people like Luca.

Ik you dont like Niji or Vsho because of their business practices, but it feels like you punish their livers for what their company does when they already get enough of that on & off the clock. Isn't it possible to filter out people you don't like from the companies & still promote people who need or deserve it like Suha Min or literally everyone in Ex-ID?

I've thought about it at times, Ex-ID and Ex-KR really do deserve better.
