Alright time for some late night bitter rambling that may or may not make sense:

I absolutely HATE how AnyColor loves to fuck over the non-JP Niji branches, at least from what I've seen. Both Niji Indonesia and Korea were absorbed in the main Niji branch, which was interesting since they were doing fine on their own. Like bro I looked on the wiki and at least 12 KR livers left before the merg even happened

And dont even get me going on how they fumbled Niji India a.k.a NijiEn Gen 0. Literally graduated weeks before Lazulight was born and the official NijiEn branch was created. Granted Vtubing isn't as big in India as in other places, but at the same time if they had out a little longer they could have been absorbed into the En branch.

Speaking of which, although not as bad NijiID&K, the company's really showing their ass when it comes to the behind the scene treatment of their livers. Case in point, ARLive getting canceled due to 'covid' since that's the excuse they wanna use.

Idk man it's just weird and, in most cases, disheartening some times. They all deserve better and hopefully En's management get their shit together. Anyway half of this didn't make sense now go listen to Iluna's VTL cover and sorry for being a downer in the tags

its ok 🫐 anon!! i havent been caught up with all of en either ever since i started college 😭 but still, its ok to feel detached from nijien especially since the branch is getting bigger and bigger recently. in fact, niji en is practically 20% of the main branch (jp, ex-id, AND ex-kr)! if you ask anyone following nijisanji since it was only jp at the time, they’d probably tell you that they keep up with only their oshis and are still somewhat up to date with whats happening with the other livers

so all in all, don’t worry too much about feeling bad that you’re not caught up with the livers ok? its fine to keep up with only your oshis as much as possible, whether it be watching clips or vods or occasionally catching them live. and ofc, its fine to watch clips or catch streams from the others every once in a while if you can <3

i've been into Nijisanji long before the EN branch existed, and by surviving off of translated clips of Niji JP, so I am fairly confident in my opinions of its development.

nijisanji as a whole was a place and the opportunity to become a vtuber without worrying what you SHOULD be. to make it easier for the talents to keep rolling in, there were branches so no one would be afraid of collabing + having a target audience.

nijisanji is literally a rainbow, with plenty of varieties.

but now, the branches have been condensed (KR & ID), and more focus is going into making "idol groups" such as ROFMAO, the EN branch, and maybe future Niji JP waves similar to Ranunculus.

while i do enjoy them and think they are smart moves in garnering audiences, there are times i had this feeling that the vtubers were being directed way too much, which was unlike nijisanji.

ex: ROFMAO skits, they have scripts and sometimes do activities on what management wants them to do.

what also pisses me off is the amount of merch they keep pumping out with the EN branch. are they expecting to make profit all the time? usually voicepacks and merchandise are announced in holidays and a few times between but— what the fuck is a half-anniversary? the shipping for the last goods haven't arrived yet, what the hell are you doing?!

mayuyu also mentioned leaving due to a project they proposed to him without a better alternative. i fucking hope they aren't forcing him to do something he doesn't want!

at this point i'm starting to lose hope in ANYCOLOR. you better not ruin precious people like Luca.

Ik you dont like Niji or Vsho because of their business practices, but it feels like you punish their livers for what their company does when they already get enough of that on & off the clock. Isn't it possible to filter out people you don't like from the companies & still promote people who need or deserve it like Suha Min or literally everyone in Ex-ID?

I've thought about it at times, Ex-ID and Ex-KR really do deserve better.

NijiFes 2023 has been announced and set on December 23rd-24th. It will be taking place in Tokyo Big Sight which is the largest exhibition center in Japan (we get big venue!!). 

Start saving money for merch everyone, this is Nijisanji biggest event after all (I would argue it’s bigger then Niji’s Anni cause it involves like all livers). Also on a plus note expect more international livers to join this time cause their visa have been mostly approved!

actually gonna say it (again) how unfair that kr has to resale their own halloween voice packs after being EXCLUDED from this years main branch halloween vp. BUT GUESS WHO IS IN THE MAIN BRANCH???? YES ITS KR!!! fuck enikara!! THEY DONT EVEN PROMOTE THEIR VP RESALES!!!

ALSO UNFAIR is how after the merge there's only 1 (one) vp release from id which was a translation of an existing vp from reza AND GUESS WHAT he does the mixing himself!! and probably the translation but i dont remember all this efforts from kr and id all while they're part of the main niji branch.

you can't argue that they cant speak jp/en because guess what!!! i feel like most of kr are v good at japanese and at least medium level english,, which might not be good enough for en vp but jp and kr vp??? they're good to go. what criminal is that most of id speak really good english and some are even good at jp. during collabs with en and jp in the past they have acted as translators. language is never the reason. enikara just doesn't want to include their kr/id talents

I am so happy I got to watch the summer pool event 2434 did today. The interactions between different livers from different branches made my heart so full. Also, I did not expect Kanae and Leos to be there. Idk it feels so surreal to see them interact with each other and other livers since I don't watch their streams regularly. This is probably the 1st ever niji event that has JP, ID, KR, and EN livers I have watched live. Really wishing there will be more collabs like this one.
