The quote above sums up Alexander’s mindset perfectly. He is always in a game to win it, but he knows there are times when someone is simply better than him. Rather than getting angry about it, he analyses the situation again. He finds his own shortcomings and works to fix them. Instead of putting the blame on others, regrdless if it was a team effort or not, he takes the blame as the man in charge and doesn’t shy from admitting defeat. It is an opportunity to learn and do better, so he takes the most of the situation. He doesn’t get angry, he doesn’t lash out, he takes it as it is. He knows he can learn a line from a win and a book from a defeat. He may internally keep a score between himself and others, though it serves as a reminder and further motivation to improve. He will do anything to win, and sometimes it is just a matter of how much the other person is willing to do as well. Unlike his cousin, Nikolai is the complete opposite. He hates losing and is more often than not stubborn until the last moment. As someone who prides himself in his connections and intellect, a loss is a direct punch to the guts. It means someone was better. It means he got played. Nikolai enjoys playing others and getting what he wants, but the moment tables turn, it’s a whole new deal. He will be petty, he will be satly about it, he will want to get back to the person that played him. To him, a defeat isn’t a lesson, it is a show of vulnerability and lack of credibility. As he puts himself on a high pedestal and lives up to his highest expectations, a defeat is a sign of not doing good enough. It doesn’t happen often, but it leaves sour taste in his mouth for weeks, sometimes even months. He doesn’t forget the person that beat him and he doesn’t forgive himself if he loses. Backstory: Sammy Weber was born in Hamburg, Germany and was a product of rape. His mother had placed him up for adoption due to not being able to stand what had happened to her. She ended up signing all the rights over to a man she had met and believed he would give the child a good life, though that was far from the truth. Sammy was brought to a lab amongst several other children who had been experimented on, and the started the modification process right away, trying to use the children to create people with different abilities and powers to use to their own advantage. He was modified to have an ice-based ability. No one cares nor understood the negative consequences this ability may have, however. He started to become hypothermic, sick, and eventually almost completely lost his vision. Due to this, he was quickly considered a failure and quickly got rid of, originally supposed to be exterminated but the person handling his case quickly turned against her oath and ended up getting him out without the knowledge of others. Sammy was 14 at the time this happened. He got taken in by a group of other homeless people who tried to take care of him until one day during a breakdown he had ended up freezing them to death whenever they tried to come into contact with him to provide comfort. He ran away after that, as fast as he was able to and is still on the run

Sammy is a really sweet person, and does want to help people even if he doesn’t always know how to do so.

The 29th edition of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open takes place at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha and will be held in the second week of March. This tournament has moved on from its usual schedule as it is usually scheduled for early season. We are not talking about a Grand Slam tournament or a Masters 1000 but many champions of the present and the past have participated in this tournament, think of Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Jim Courier, Nikolay Davydenko, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, David Ferrer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer while the last winner of this tournament was Andrey Rublev who won it last January. In five weeks we will see Dominic Thiem, Gael Monfils, Roberto Bautista Agut and Stan Wawrinka dueling for the victory of the Doha tournament and with them will be Roger Federer! The Swiss champion, twenty times winner of Grand Slam titles, returns to the field after more than a year since he does not play exactly from the Australian Open 2020 where he played the last match in the semifinals against Novak Djokovic and since that day Roger has experienced the most long of his career. Federer underwent a double surgery that effectively conditioned and slowed his 2020. Roger Federer went to Dubai in December and has been training intensely since those days but decided to skip the 2021 Australian Open not feeling ready yet. Roger will return to Doha and play this event where he has been absent since 2012. Tariq Zainal, secretary general of the Qatar Tennis Foundation, is thrilled to see Roger in Doha after so many years and commenting on his choice said: "We are delighted to have the great Roger back. Federer for this year's Doha tournament. It's always a pleasure to have athletes of his caliber and this year's event promises to be bigger than ever. Doha is the home of great tennis and for years many champions have decided to participate in our tournament. We look forward to welcoming all players to this annual tennis party."

Federer has no specific date in mind for his retirement

More than winning Grand Slam tournaments, playing with fitness in front of fans is Roger Federer’s current goal. “The most important thing for me is to be completely healthy again,” he added. “And of course, that the fans can return to the stadiums. I followed tennis the last few months with melancholy.” The 103 ATP titles winner has one of the most prominent careers in tennis history. And to set an end date on it is unfathomable. However, the Swiss maestro is still passionate about tennis and wants to see where it leads him. “I haven’t set a specific date for the end of my career. We will now give it a go. For now, the goal is to play for the whole season. Then we’ll see how my body has reacted and how the results were,” Roger revealed.

Und war viel breiter, als nur der dünne Strich auf Landkarten und Felszeichnungen der Neuzeit. Die Slawen waren in Gablenz besetzt mit der heutigen Johanniskirche und früher alleine Chef dort gewesen bis zur Langestr.-gasse-strich heran. Und ein eigenes Volk ohne Zugehör zum damaligen Deutschtum, der Römer Sklaven. So hat sich die falsche Mähr vom Weg Nicolai nach Johannis in Kirchenbüchern beschrieben nicht durchgesetzt bei mir, sondern bei Euch. Ich weiß dagegen dasz es noch viel mehr gab. Die Chemnitz-Fluss war dagegen ein tiefes gelegenes Flüsschen, viel Wasser und viel Fisch, auch Pflanzen rumherum, nur die Finanzwelt hat gedeckt das Gold und Geld mit STein drauf und weiterhin der Bevölkerung eingerdt, dass es notwendig sei Steine zu häufen und zu mehren in Gegend und Fluss, und somit das Geld gefördert mit Stein. We were so impressed by all of your applications, please know that it was incredibly difficult to choose between all of our applicants–some roles took hours of deliberation to finally decide on a character.

Our acceptances were based on a number of criteria, including how well the character fit the label and how creatively the label was integrated into the character’s story, the effort put into the application, how well the character would fit/balance with the rest of the characters accepted, the originality of the character, and how dedicated the member seemed in their application, as we want to make a fluid, fun, and long-lasting roleplay here! That said, if you were not accepted, we encourage you to apply again, as ALL of you are excellent writers and had incredible ideas: it was genuinely unfortunate to have to reject any of you. As a final note, we would like to remind our new members of the rules, with emphasis on the last two sections: communicating with the admins and having fun!
