“Yes.”

She pushed away from him and straightened her clothes. Falsehoods were inevitable, maybe even necessary between a husband and wife. A general and her king could ill afford them.

I am honestly surprised that nobody has written a Zoyalai Pirates Au yet. Like where’ my eye-patch wearing Zoya who plunders Nik’s ship and takes him prisoner? And then, of course, she falls in love with him. Cue Genya crying with happiness in the background, while David tries to figure out what’s going on.
