Synopsis- Megumi and Y/N used to be inseparable as children and just started drifting apart when they start high school they meet again in college. But you are roommates with each others best friends. Nobara drags Y/N to a party one night without knowing Yuji had asked Megumi too, they start their journey to regain their lost friendship on a two week trip.

The loud sound of an alarm clock blaring from your phone speakers caused you to jerk up immediately. 8:30am. Too early to be up. The light poured in from your window as you laid in bed staring at your ceiling for a solid 5 minutes, contemplating on getting up or not but you were snapped from your thoughts as your phone started buzzing. Only Nobara would be calling you this early in the morning.

Picking up she cheerfully greeted you with a good morning sunshine. “Do you wanna get breakfast?” she immediately asked. Sighing you give a quick yes. “Great! I’ll pick you up in 20. See you soon!” hanging up the phone. You quite literally roll out of bed and face planting onto your floor receiving a quick “SHUT UP I’M TRYING TO SLEEP!” from Yuji. ‘Probably has a killer hangover’ you thought as you got up and started getting ready for the day.

20 minutes went by quickly as Nobara knocked on your door, running to open the door for her tooth brush still in your mouth and a tube of mascara in hand. “Good morning gorgeous!” she said as she stepped into your home. Giving her a quick “good morning” although it was very mumbled because you had a tooth brush in your mouth. Heading back to the bathroom to finish your routine. Returning to the living room you receive a “You ready to go?” from Nobara as she got up from her spot on the couch petting your cat one last time. “yep! let’s go before Yuji comes out yelling for being too noisy” you say as the both of you make your way out the door, locking it behind you. “We just gotta stop back at my place real quick, I forgot my wallet.” she says. “Nobara it’s cool, I’ll pay.” you said reassuring her and also wanting to pay for once. “Good. But I still need to grab it since it has my drivers license in it” a quick mental face palm to yourself for being dumb as you two climbed into the car.

The two of you get back to her apartment and you immediately went to sit down on the island stool as she goes to find her wallet, pulling out your phone to pass the time whilst you wait. “What are you doing here?” a groggy voice says making you jump a bit. Looking up you’re met with a half awake Megumi as he stretches, his shirt rode up exposing his stomach as he scratches it with a big yawn. His hair is all disheveled, more than it usually is but it’s also flat. It’s weird for you to see Megumi like this, he almost looks tolerable. “I’ll be gone soon, don’t you worry. Nobara and I are going for breakfast.” you say to him playfully in an attempt to be civil with him. “Whatever” he replies flatly as he starts rummaging through some cabinets. “Nobara, do we have any advil??” he shouts to her from the kitchen. A quiet shout back could be heard “No, I took the last tablet this morning! Sorry! We’ll pick some up while we’re out!”. He groaned in annoyance. You in fact had advil in your fanny pack, debating on wether you should be nice and give it to him or not you ultimately decide to offer it to him. “Don’t worry ‘Gumi’ I’ve got some.” referring to him as his old contact name in your phone and he chuckles. “Your name in my phone was something like that too. N/N” you let out a small laugh as you hand him the container. He gladly took it and popped a tablet in his mouth dry swallowing it.

Nobara eventually came out and saw you and Megumi having an actual conversation for once in your lives and smiled. “Okay Y/N time to go!” getting up from your spot as you stood saying goodbye to Megumi and he waved off and said a quick “have fun”.

“What was that about?” Nobara asks earning her an eye roll . “I’m just trying to make amends. It’s been so long since Megumi and I were on good terms.” replying to her, she hummed in response. That was that.

It was now about 3pm in the afternoon as you sat on the living room couch playing on xbox mindlessly when a door open and close could be heard from behind. Turning around for a quick glance, Yuji stumbled out of his room towards the living room. He just sat down right beside you and yawns. “How you feeling Yuu?” asking him quietly just incase he has a headache which he replies with a “my head is killing mee” as he leans on your shoulder for support and you chuckle. “I think I left my advil at Nobara’s but there might be another container in the cabinet above the fridge.” He lets out a quick “thank you” as he gets up and saunters over to the kitchen to get the advil, which luckily there is.

Another hour passes and you’ve just been hanging out with Yuji playing split screen games when your phone goes off. Nobara is facetiming and picking up the call to be met with her face on the screen as she smiles and waves. “Hey girl! Whatcha up to?” she asks excitedly— weird. “Yuji and I are just playing games rn, what’s up?” she quickly replies with a “Hi yuji!” and he shoved your face out of the phones cameras view letting out an excited “Hey Kugisaki!” with a wave. Quickly pushing him away to resume your conversation with Nobara.

“So I was thinking..” immediately cutting her off with a sarcastic “While that can’t be good!” earning a scoff. “Shut up and let me speak. I was thinking all four of us should go on a vacation!” she shouts excitedly. “Where to?” asking puzzled. “Osaka. And before you say no. It’s already been paid for by Megumi so you and Yuji have to come.” she says sternly. An excited Yuji starts bouncing around the room chanting “Osaka trip, Osaka trip!” smiling at his antics and turning your attention back to Nobara. “When do we leave?” she smiles sheepishly. “The flight is in three days.”

Great. 3 days to get everything packed and ready.

Sorry this is a shorter chapter, it was only meant to kickstart the story. You and Megumi are finally warming up to each other! But there’s going to be a lot of pushing and pulling in your relationship with him.. I have a lot planned for this and I have the next few chapters in the works.

I am really happy with this chapter. I went back an did a lot of editing, cutting down the usage of the word “you” because it’s sooo repetitive and it feels like reading literal plastic just mad boring. but i fixed it!.. i think. either way i’m happy with this chapter :D

engaging with my readers is my favourite thing so i wanna hear what you guys want out of this story and i’ll see where i can put it if it’ll fit the plot i have planned out already. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

You don’t really know when this habit of yours came to light. But you came to the conclusion that it was probably when Fushiguro first gave you a piggy-back ride due to the fact you were injured (back in middle school) - this will be a childhood friends to lovers theme.

“Am I heavy?” you asked in a shy tone, as your arms loosely hung around Megumi’s neck causing him to pause walking before shifting you higher from your previous position. “You are,” Megumi replied nonchalantly, causing you to hit his shoulder in retaliation, which led him to hiss since he didn’t expect you to hit him that hard. “Then why did you say I wasn’t before,” you pouted, leading to an irk mark to make an appearance on your bestfriend’s head. “You kept asking the same question after I said the same answer, what else was I supposed to say,” Megumi answered before he continued making his way back home, where he would later help with the minor injuries that you managed to substain during the school day.

There have been times where you both would go out together - wherever it would be shopping, running errands or just going out to eat - where he would give you a piggyback ride because it became such a habit for the both of you.

Of course, people have stared at you both (and in the beginning, it was embarrassing) but you both grew so used to it.

“Do you think Gojo is going to be mad at us for not picking up sweets?” you asked as you peered into the bag that Megumi was carrying on his shoulders. “I don’t really care,” Megumi replied before tightening his grasp on your legs because he felt you slipping slightly. Since you both left school grounds, you and Megumi were gathering ingredients for the hotpot that second-years suggested, leading them to give you this task. “What are you planning to make, usually you wouldn’t buy this much when we usually did hotpot together?” you asked, recalling the fact that your boyfriend brought more meat than he usually would, causing him to answer that he was planning to make meatballs that Yuji taught him, resulting in your nodding your head before peering up to the sky, noticing how you both needed to hurry since the sun was setting.

This continued when you both entered Jujutsu Tech and when you both became a couple, Fushiguro would sometimes carry you bridal style - he rather do this when you both are doing a mission alone because he doesn’t want to be teased.

One time, Fushiguro had asked you why you like being carried by him and in the beginning, you just shrugged and said “I don’t know” - but now, you would answer, it’s because he made you feel safe in his arms.

Kugisaki has complained on how Fushiguro favoured you when it came to all of them being injured and how he would automatically kneel down to carry you.

“FUSHIGURO!!” Nobara yelled at your boyfriend, once he made sure your legs were secure under his arms. “What?” Megumi irritantinly asked as you placed your head on his shoulder trying to get a peek on what was going on. “Why do you always carry L/N and not even once offer to carry me?!” your classmate furiously shouted while pointing at the both of you, as if she had found out the culprits of a high case crime. “Itadori can help carry you,” Fushiguro mentioned, causing the female to rage even more, leading everyone to come back to Jujutsu Tech with a massive headache.

When you asked him if he liked carrying you, he would say ‘no’ very quickly - but when you side glanced, you could tell he was lying due to the look in his eyes that he didn’t want you to see.

However, when you ask him later on, he would say he doesn't mind - translation: I do, it’s because I know you’re safe in my arms and your warmth keeps me sane knowing that you are alive.

There are times when you both would have a near-death experience during a mission gone wrong, where he would carry you bridal style as a way to keep you safe from any other sort of danger.

However, with those moments he’s too scared to look away from you, in case you are…

“Megumi…am I going to die?” you asked softly as you gripped onto his white dress shirt as tightly as you could, ruined by his blood but mainly yours. “What are you talking about, no you’re not,” Fushiguro replied, as he peered down at you, making sure that you were not going to close your eyes nor planning to if you would ever admit it to him. You could tell that he was getting desperate as he rushed to get you to Shoko - even if it seemed impossible due to the distance from him and where she was camped in the city of Shibuya right now. He had used too much of his cursed energy to use Nue to carry you, but it seemed like he wanted to carry you there, to make sure that you were going to be okay and nothing was going to happen to you. It seemed as if he would rather take the plunge taking you there himself than to fight with the anxiety of not knowing if you made it or not. So you took the decision to make sure you stayed awake, because you knew him not feeling your warmth in his arms was something he didn’t want to lose at all.

I've been into Jujutsu Kaisen lately and this kind of popped into my mind after doing movie marathon of my favorite classic films with my sister. As a result, here's a mini fluff AU for you all.

GoYuu x Parent Trap AU-ish with a dash of non-traditional omegaverse told in the eyes of the two brats.

Itadori Nobara and Gojo Megumi - as predestined by fate like Nobara usually says - meet at a summer camp for young pups in Tokyo. Nobara was rather rambunctious for a girl and contrary to her omega father's worry, she was able to befriend the mature and quiet Megumi. The two had stuck next to eachother like gums since the first day of camp. They found eachother's scent familiar and comforting that they think it was natural for them to stick together. On some nights, they'd sneak out of the camp and hang around by the lake - “ A peace away from those sloppy city brats”, Nobara would say when asked why she like hanging around there at night - The two eight-year olds would exchanged stories about their lives with their single parents. Nobara would complain how her omega father was too busy running the family farm in Iwate, unwilling to meet any suitors. She thinks her omega father is still unable to forget her alpha father.

"Do you hate your alpha father?" Megumi asked.

Nobara shrugged. “Not sure. How can I hate a person I haven't even met? Why? Do you hate your omega parent?”

Megumi shakes his head. “Not hate. I just think that may it's partially my omega parent's fault as to why dad is being what he is now."

Megumi's alpha father was a renowned lawyer and businessman. He was an eccentric man that showered his son with love and affection, unwilling to let him feel that he was unloved. But his father has quite a flirty tendency that Megumi doesn't like. Although his father was normally confident, there were times that he would see him staring at a cut out photo from his wallet, silently crying.

“My fathe's worse," Nobare frowned. "I'd often find him staring at the sky and just sighing. I then heard Uncle Sukuna scold him to stop thinking about it but my father would say the blue skies reminds him of my alpha father's eyes.”

“Do you think your father likes blue eyes?”

“Does your dad have blue eyes too?” Nobara asked excitedly. “Hey, hey. I have a great idea. Why don't we set our parents on a date? Wouldn't that be great? We'll be siblings!”

Megumi perked up at the idea. “But how are we supposed to do that? Summer camp's ending in three days.”

Nobara then delightedly explains the two ways of her master plan. First one; they could switch places. Nobara would go to Megumi's place and vice versa. When their parent's see that it's a different child, they'll have to meet up to exchange and BOOM! They'll fall in love when they meet.

“That sounds like a hassle and unrealistic,” Megumi complains.

Undettered, Nobara moves to her second option. When they reach home, Nobara will tell his omega father that she found a bestfriend during summer camp and wants to see him again. Unfortunately, said friend lives in Tokyo so Nobara will begged or maybe forced her father to bring her to Tokyo. They will then set up a meeting with their parents.

"I like that plan." Megumi says.

Three days passed like a blur since the two hatched their plan and soon, Nobara found herself on a plane, itching to get back home to start the plan. Once she was back, her father - Yuuji - a beautiful omega happily greeted her in the airport, peppering her cheeks with kisses while apologizing for being unable to pick her up at the camp in Tokyo.

Nobara tells him it was fine on their way to the farm, happily sharing tales of her activities in camp and lastly, about her newly found bestfriend, Megumi.

“He's really nice, father. You know how I keep telling you that I find something missing in me and meeting him made me feel whole. He's really cool too! Unlike those other sloppy city brats!”

“Oh~ did my little devil have too many admirers to count in the city?" Nobara laughed as she was ruffled on the head by Uncle Sukuna, her father's older identical alpha twin brother.

"They're big wimps," Nobara says. "Megumi's the only cool one that's why he's my friend."

“I see,” Uncle Sukuna chuckled. “Maybe you were too cute for those city boys huh. Just like your father.”

“Sukuna!” Her father exclaims, face turning red.

Nobara lets a few days pass before she started acting sad around her father and Uncle Sukuna. Soon enough, her father talked to her, asking why she seemed so sad.

“I miss Megumi. I wanna see him.”

“But he's in Tokyo...” Her father looked unsure on what to do.

“Let's go there! I wanna see Megumi. He said we can meet at a sweet shop he always goes.” She puts on her best puppy eyes and soon enough her dad agreed, saying they'll leave this weekend as he still have some work to do in the farm.

On the other hand, since Megumi was originally living in Tokyo, it was a short travel. He was picked up his dad's secretary, Nanami-san. The man explained to him that his dad was back at home, eagerly awaiting his arrival.

Before he could even step foot inside their large house, he was swept off the floor and pulled into a hug by his dad.

“Megumi~ Dad missed you a lot! Did you miss dad too?" His dad - Satoru - asked, pouting. His usual dark glasses perched on top of his nose, hiding his blue eyes.

“Yeah. I made a friend.”

His dad was acceptably shocked as Megumi rarely made any social connection from other people. “She's loud and brash but strong.”

“That's good to hear.”

“But she lives far away though so I don't know when I'll get to see her again.”

“That's too bad. Tell you what, if you ever get a chance to meet her again, tell me and I'll handle things okay?”

“Thanks dad.”

Now that Megumi has done his part of the plan, all he can do now is wait for Nobara's signal as hers would take the longest time planning for everything. They had exchanged numbers in summer camp and had continued updating eachother on their activities.

It was a few days later when Megumi received a message from Nobara stating of her successfully convincing her father and they were leaving this weekend.

Now they can only hope that this parent trap will work out.

☘️ (I think Tumblr ate a message i sent you last night i realized Junpei proably would become a closet marine biologist after Moondregs came along seeing how they are a giant ass jelly fish, so here is Junpei and reader on an aquarium date.) (not me spending over an hour looking up an aquarium in Tokyo to make sure this is accurate)

☘️Junpei finally had just decided to turn off his phone after it continued to ring. When he turned it on that morning, your body still curled into his, bracing himself for whatever awaited him. Which turned out to be 50 messages from Yuuji, 30 from Nobara, 60 from Gojo-sensei (seriously this guy), one from Megumi which just read "Did you have send THAT at midnight to my boyfriend? I had been trying to sleep." and an near uncountable number of calls and voicemails. How much they all cared about him and his sex-life was both enduring and concerning. Leaning more towards concerning. They had become his family after the death of his mother, a role they took far too seriously. But it did bring the biggest smile to his face while making his heart swell.

In the end he responded to them as simply as he could including apologizing to Megumi. You still slept on, eyes shielded from the sunlight that streamed into the flat by the shared blanket and his chest. Almost as soon as he sent the message to Yuuji there was a response.

So when do we get to meet them?

Soon, I haven't told them about anything. They only just found out about the scars last night.

Oh shit. How did that go?

Better then expected, its hard to explain over text. But they ended up saying "I love you"

Junpei shook his head. Yuuji was a ball of sunshine made human even if Sukuna was more a blackhole and arse. It was a wonder that Yuuji had enough sunshine to deal with that, his dower boyfriend, his strange big brother Choso, and Junpei as his bestfriend. But somehow he did. Putting the phone back down he looped both arms around you and held tightly. Though Junpei had been feeling lighter recently. Somethings did dull in their aches with the passage of time. Having something new and bright to focus on helped blunt the edges as well. Not to mention seeing and hearing how you felt about the scars lifted him up higher. You stirred faintly a mewling cry escaping like an exhale. He shifted slightly to see if you were waking up or still sleeping. Blurry eyes looked back at him.

"Good morning."

"Only if there is coffee in my near future." You kissed where shoulder met neck nuzzling in when he shivered.

"If you want coffee I'm going to have to let you go and your going to have to get off of me." He sighed while raising an eyebrow.

Nipping at the sensitive skin before you slipped off him but still tucked close. Reluctance to move and not to just continue to lay in this moment was a weighted blanket on you both. Till his stomach growled. Now there is moment of mortification when your laying in bed with your new lover and they hear that you do in-fact have a body and it makes noise. With a deep shaky sigh he braced himself for what he didn't know.

"I'm hungry too." You murmured against him.

You continued to surprise him. He let out a gentle laugh and kissed the top of your head.

"Well I'll make you breakfast too then. How are your legs feeling now?"

"Better I'm sure I can stand on my own now, if you want help?"

"No its fine. I want to spoil you this morning."

"Keep talking like that and I'll never want to leave."

"That is the master plan." This time he kissed your lips. Both of you setting aside the minor horror of morning breath to enjoy the remembered contact.

Breaking away Junpei got up trying to remember where his boxers had ended up the night before. The floor was cold and he thought about finding socks. Still he got up and went to the hallway kitchen to turn the coffee pot on.

"Do you have any plans today?" You called.

"Not really do you?"

"No. But I'd like to spend more of it with you." Surprised Junpei turned to you with smile, enjoying the blush across your cheeks while you sat up with only the blanket around your shoulders. He continued to set up the pot measuring out the grounds. Hiding a spreading blush of his own.

"I have a pass for the Aquarium in Sumida, is that something you would be interested in?"

"I've never been but it sounds like fun. You must really like the ocean if you have a pass at the Aquarium."

You had no idea, once he had gained Moondregs he had become a little obsessed with jelly fish and then the ocean as a whole. Next to him the coffee started to pour.

"I think its beautiful, at just a glace its so peaceful but the longer you look the more power you see within it."

"That's a beautiful way to put it. Now I really want to see it, but only if you promise to share with me your excitement. Your so cute." He tried to glare at you while pouring coffee into two mugs. Your smile like a thousand stars took away any power it would have had.

"Cream or sugar?"

"Just some cream, I like it strong." He fixed the mugs till it looked right hopefully and brought them over. Sitting back down he handed you the mug.

"Thank you." You pressed a kiss to his shoulder before taking a sip. "Well if you make breakfast I can get ready and then clean up while you get dressed."

"Sounds good. But I will admit I love you like this." His eyes roved around the shapeless blanket knowing under it was your body which was so new and yet beloved to him. Raising an eyebrow you slipped the blanket off. Sucking in a breath and putting his mug on the table Junpei turned to taste the coffee on your lips. Both of you forgetting everything else.

It was hours later before you both stood in the aquarium. Junpei had instantly tugged you towards the jelly fish. The large tanks on the floor and walls almost made it seem like you were surrounded by the creatures. Excitedly he started to point them out and explain everything he knew about them. For your part seeing the excitement in his eyes and how he seemed to glow as he talked made you fall harder for him. There was so much joy in his actions and how he spoke it was hard not to be effected by it.

"Sorry I'm probably boring you." He smiled sheepishly before pressing a kiss to you forehead.

"I'm enjoying myself, and I love seeing how excited you are." Leaning into his chest, a comforting bliss in the simple act.

"Let me show you my favorite place." His hand tangled with yours.

From the Jelly Fish exabit you moved to Ogasawara Large Aquarium. The back of it, the aquascope, with it small windows and rounded walls left small areas to be able to watch the fish and sharks swim past relatively undisturbed by others. Holding you tucked to his chest while his head rested on your shoulder Junpei began to almost doze with the happiness and warmth buzzing though your bodies.

"Hey don't be falling asleep on me. My legs are still sore and I have no idea how to get home." You whispered in his ear.

"Fine. It's not my fault your so comfortable." Kissing your neck before standing back up still holding you close.

"Flirt." He loved how you shiver at the contact. "This has been an amazing date, we haven't even left and I already want to come back."

"Then come back with me, let's repeat the day tomorrow."

"Including how we woke up?"

"Especially that part." Nuzzling your neck, desire growing bright.

"I like that plan. On our way back can we get something sweet?"

"I already have something sweet." He whispered before nipping at your shoulder a place he had to recently learned was ultra sensitive. Your shiver and laugh was better then sake. Tightening his arms he closed his eyes taking in all he could of this moment hoping that it held the promise of a future overflowing with more moments like these. ☘️

as someone who’s majoring in marine biology- it makes me extremely happy just to think that junpei would also love sea life. Also, I think it’s canon that he likes ocean related stuff (idk tho I haven’t googled it)
