actually I think they've read the comments on all social media, they do read the room, and that's part of the reason why they probably hinted to lewis (I think so) he needed to apologise publicly to george and set a good example for his fans. Well that didn't work either, team lh has been flaming them. I don't know if not engaging at all is the way to go, where would lewis see us defending him.. plus there is the fact that I genuinely disagree with his borderline toxic positivity tendencies, I was screaming when I saw the 'full responsibility' tweet and that ridiculous hug, because I saw his sincerity, which isn't reciprocated in the least, so I feel like he should hear different opinions somehow.

ofc they read everything, that smugness is apparent. still, first part of your ask, i don't think anybody is forcing/hinting him to do anything. tbh yeah, his interview should have been the only thing spoken on that matter. the rest was just vile and disrespectful, blatant public shaming by his team & teammate. the tweet was unnecessary, but i kinda get what compelled him and respect it. yes, he needs to see the support, it can be done probably without engaging with their posts idk.

about toxic positivity, what choice does he have? and his sincerity not being reciprocated is a problem but it's not on him. he just posted and bounced as he should.
