New Class! April 27th I'll be teaching Rabbit Taxidermy at @noirartsandoddities here in Kansas City. In this class you'll learn the entire process of how to create a rabbit shoulder mount on a hanging plaque. We'll be covering the entire process from skinning, fleshing and preserving to mounting the skin, positioning the ears and facial features, and finishing techniques. Students that have taken my beginner's taxidermy class will enjoy delving further into the focus of this class, though no experience is necessary and all experience levels are welcomed. Come learn all about the elusive American Jackalope while recreating your own version on a hanging plaque. No prior taxidermy experience required! You will learn the process from start to finish including skinning, fleshing, and preserving the skin, and how to prepare and mount the skin on a commercially-made form, set facial features, horns/antlers, and finishing techniques.
