i feel like so many cis people would feel much much more comfortable with their own identities n less scared of exploring them if they adopted the mindset of "just because gender can be important to the individual doesn't mean gender is important in the grand scheme of things". like realizing that all this shit is made up at the end of the day is what made me feel more secure as a trans man and stop feeling dysphoric and i think this could apply to cis people too. if the rules are fake anyway then just bend the rules however you see fit. ez

new shitty analogy just in case anyone ever asks me how i can be a man but also nonbinary/genderqueer at the same time:

yknow how clouds are really just made of water even though they look like something different from our perspective? and how that doesn't necessarily mean it's raining all the time? and just because it's raining in one place doesn't mean it's raining everywhere in the whole world at the same time, or even in the same city? how it's totally contextual? and how you can analyze and predict weather patterns all you want but we still can't really /control/ how the clouds work? and at the end of the day they're all just The Same Thing????

I think bottom surgery should be more normalised. Not only for trans people, but also for people who are cis or some flavour of nonbinary who are getting jiggy with it

say it with me! the more trans healthcare and trans culture gets normalized, the more cis people will feel comfortable in their own gender exploration without feeling pressured from any directions, and that's a win-win for everybody!!!
