USAustralia Day 9: I'm just straight up having a good time

Today is the 28th August.

Hi! Today I met the community.

Today began, as it usually does, with toast and peanut butter. But with a little helping my uncle do some DIY for few minutes.

My uncle and I then jammed a little, me on my ukulele, him on his guitar. Before we all headed out to the beach to enjoy a coffee/chai and some sun. Everywhere is heaving on Sundays, and prices inflate a little. After a while we all grew tired of the masses of people and returned to the house.

My uncle was working, so my aunt and I hung out and spent the day chatting and admiring their garden.

At noonz my uncle took a break and we all went out into the cul-de-sac for the residents BBQ, which was really fun. Until it got cold when the sun fell behind the buildings.

My aunt and I retreated in to continue our discussions and my uncle returned to his work.

We spent an enjoyable afternoon in the backgarden trying to stay in the warm, but eventually had to retreat inside (and even hide at one point when my uncle had a new client)

The evening was spent packing and eating the leftovers for dinner: dahl, rice and spag bog.

I'll probably be a little delayed on posts in future, as we're flying out tomorrow morning.
