soo, some of the drivers said their favs movies and as a proud filmsis i feel the need to comment on that bc i have mixed feelings (mostly hate feelings) (i'm rough with this so beware of that)

george r's are the james bond ones, which makes a lot of sense. it's basic british rich kid so yeah cool with that.

charles' are the harry potter ones. that guy is never beating the basic, boring, and absolute weird kid allegations. pls you're 26 go watch interstellar or smth

ocon's is the dark knight rises. why of all the three, you choose the worst? like, i get it anne hathaway is looking good there, but... tho is not one of the worst choices.

(i skip yuki bc i haven't watched the transporter and i'm not planning to)

the max's are the hangover and the wolf of wall street. ugh. everything would've been fine if he just shut his mouth after saying the hangover, it's a cool light comedy movie and yk bradley cooper looks hot af. but the wolf of wall street... dude that's bad. that movie is so messed up. like, it's """"""""satire"""""""" but knowing scorsese (the director) and di caprio, i looks more like a based on real events

and finally, alex albon chose the grand budapest hotel. he knows. i'm the biggest fan of wes anderson's movies and even tho it's not the best of him, still a good one and definitely the best one of all the choices of the rest

and yeah that's it, this was like super long but idrc, i'm really strong abt movies. cheers

the florida project review

another one bc i just finished 'the florida project'. tho of this one i don't have many thoughts

i just loved it. a24 never disappoints and i left the movie with a crush in willem defoe.

the movie is heartbreaking, the pace is amazing and the way the plot evolves is of another level. i would say that this is a movie that everyone should watch. 5/5 stars

civil war review

we're back at thisss

recently i watched this movie called 'civil war', is from this year and i adore it. the movies is about some periodists going to take pictures of the civil war that's going on in usa some years in the future.

i was quite interesed in this movies bc i always felt weird about photographers who are watching awful things happening and they just take a picture. and i thought this movie would critizes that. but it didn't.

it's just a group of photographers going from somewhere to washington dc to keep record of a coup. and it's great, it's truly great.

these people go through some... things, really creepy things to me. but what i believe it is the scariest is the fact that this could happen in not a long time. which is crazy to me

fall review

in my english classes yesterday we watched the movie fall (2022), the one with the two girls that get stucked in a really tall thing in the middle of nothing. and it wasn't that bad, honestly. i knew the plot twist bc of tiktok but it was still very distressing. i was literally biting my nails of the stress

but i cracked at the part of the vulture bc she just casually starts eating a fucking vulture out of nowhere??

anyway, if you have letterboxd PLEASE read the reviews bc there are gems there. i laughed out loud with some of them

the fall guy review

heyy, so as you know i'm really into movies and tv shows so i'll create a tag to talk and review movies, starting today bc yesterday i watched The Fall Guy, and I have some thoughts.

so, although it was a comedy, i didn't laugh as much as i expected? the director is the same from bullet train (and i really liked that movie) and him combined with ryan gosling i thought it'd be hilarious, but it just wasn't.

it wasn't boring or anything, but it was also not funny. it felt more of a romantic mixed with action movie than aq comedy, so i was really disappointed of that.

but, it's ryan gosling so it was a solid 3,5 stars out of 5 for me

do you like alfred hitchcock's movies?

haven't watched any of him, he's movies are quite old and i'm more into modern classics (check this list to see what i'm talking about). tho i have vertigo in my watchlist and ik psycho is a must seen, but it's horror and i hateee horror movies
